Roy blinked in surprise and looked up at her.

"What's wrong?" Toki chuckled softly, reaching out to rub his hair.
Roy shook his head, closed his eyes, and let himself relax against her soft thighs.
Maybe she still saw him as a younger brother… or maybe her feelings toward him were starting to change.

For now, he had no choice but to study other "auxiliary" options. He needed to stay calm, not desperate.

"I don't want other girls," Roy said immediately. "I only want Sister Toki."
His tone was soft, but his words carried a mischievous sincerity.
"Don't be ridiculous. I'm older than you," Toki said with a self-deprecating laugh, brushing his hair back gently. "How could I ever hold you back like that?"
"Then why are you still sleeping with me? Don't you think you should take responsibility?"
"Pfft—"
Toki nearly burst out laughing. "You really are shameless!"
"What do you mean? I get it!" Roy said, puffing his cheeks playfully. He grabbed her hands, looking up with wide, innocent eyes. "I don't care how long it takes. When I grow up, I won't let Sister Toki, at her most beautiful, slip away!"
"You…" Toki sighed, realizing she'd spoiled him too much.
"Sister Toki, do you not want me anymore?" Roy suddenly asked, his voice trembling. He looked up at her, eyes glistening as tears began to fall.
"My parents abandoned me… my grandfather died… even the nun left me. They all didn't want Roy anymore. Do you not want me either?"
Toki froze, her hand still on his head.
She remembered what the giants had told her about Roy's past.
He'd been born in a war-torn land, abandoned as a child. An old man took him in, but later passed away too.
In that cruel world, he'd wandered from village to village, clutching a few coins, with no one to call family.
Loneliness, fear, and the constant threat of death—that had been his childhood.
Then he'd met a girl. He'd tried everything to make her smile. But in the end, her parents forbade her from seeing him—calling him a wild child.
Heartbroken, he'd packed his things and left.

"Because Sister dotes on me the most," he said softly. "When I'm with you, I feel alive."
Toki's breath caught.
He had lived such a lonely childhood—abandoned, unloved, afraid. All he ever wanted was warmth, and the girl who gave it to him became his entire world.
She hugged him closer, trembling. So that was it. They'd both been clinging to each other out of loneliness.

Roy glanced over and spotted him.
He waved his little hand sharply. "Out. Now!"
Pandora pouted but floated away obediently, muttering curses under his breath.
