A decade after escaping the curse, Rhys and Liam threw a party.
Not for any special occasion—just because they could. Because they had friends and life and joy worth celebrating.
Rhys's art hung on their walls. Liam's law awards sat on shelves. Photos of travels, dinners, normal life filled frames.
"Can you believe it's been ten years?" Rhys asked during a quiet moment on their balcony.
"Sometimes it feels like yesterday. Sometimes like a lifetime ago." Liam wrapped arms around him from behind. "But mostly I just feel grateful. We got our second chance."
"Seventh chance, technically."
"True. But this is the one that stuck."
They watched the city lights, standing in comfortable silence.
"Do you ever wonder what would have happened if you'd chosen differently?" Liam asked quietly. "If you'd chosen Pryce, or chosen revenge instead of justice?"
"No point in wondering. I made the choice I could live with." Rhys leaned back into him. "And I'm happy with where we ended up."
"Me too."
Inside, their friends laughed and talked and celebrated life. Outside, the world continued turning. And Rhys and Liam stood together—two souls who'd found each other across centuries and finally got it right.
