On the Star Walker.
The Ancient One entered Julius's offices. The Spartan Is in their Beskar armor let her pass, having seen her leave earlier. She walked past the two pillars guarding the door: women in Beskar armor with silver knight helmets that hid their identical, beautiful faces. Then, she passed through the magnificent, wrought-metal doors.
Ancient One: "Little Julius, I have a request."
Julius: "Good grief, Yao, call me Julius, or some other name, but without the 'little'! I am 3 meters tall, you know!"
Ancient One: "Do not call me that. I am older than you, anyway."
Julius: "What do you mean, older? How old are you, anyway?"
Ancient One: "Little Julius, you should know it's not polite to ask some people their age."
Julius was silent for a moment, then sighed: "Ugh! Fine, I'm sorry, Elder. What do you need from me?"
Ancient One: "That's much better. Call me that. I would like a library."
Julius: "Well, you could ask Data or Vision..."
Ancient One: "No, not digital. Paper, parchments, books."
Julius: "Were you thinking of the books from Kamar-Taj?"
Ancient One: "No, leave them. They are dormant now. I need new things to understand this universe. Why not go to Terra?"
Julius: "That's a very bad idea. The Emperor of Mankind is waging the Great Crusade and unifying humanity. Even if he isn't on Terra, there are men there as powerful as you."
Ancient One: "Who?"
Julius: "Malcador the Sigillite, the Emperor's advisor and Regent of Terra while the Emperor conducts his crusade. Malcador rules Terra. A group of Custodes protects him, and there is also a Primarch called the Praetorian of Terra. You would be captured, or killed, or worse."
Ancient One: "How many libraries are there, actually?"
Julius: "According to my information, the Imperium has three main ones:
· The Librarium Omnissiah: Located on Mars, it is the data library of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
· The Librarium Terra: An information library for the Imperium, located on Terra.
· The Librarium Daemonica: A library specializing in the Warp and Chaos, managed by the Ordo Malleus on Titan."
Ancient One: "What about the mysterious ones? There must be some."
Julius: "The most notable are the Eldar's Forbidden Library, which holds secret knowledge of Chaos and dark magic, and the Black Library, which resides in the Webway, belonging to 'He Who Whispers'."
Ancient One: "I really don't have many options..."
Julius: "Go to the Bastion system first. We have a library on a moon named 'Silvar'. We are gathering all the ancient and mysterious texts we find in the galaxy we are conquering there."
Ancient One: "Good, I will take a look."
She raised her hand, and a golden circle formed in front of her, opening right before the gates of the moon Silvar.
Julius stood up and thought to himself: "She's already mastered the energy of this universe? Damn, I made the right choice. Here, take my seal."
He handed her a seal depicting a blue eagle made of night Beskar. "With this, you can open and enter as you wish."
The Ancient One took it, then said: "See you later." The portal closed.
Julius: "Magic is pretty cool when you know how to use it."
