Chapter 128 - Episode 127:✨Hearts, Shadows & Fates✨

The evening air hung heavy over the quiet road near Aishwarya's flat. The veiled woman had vanished into the shadows after handing over the glowing red orb. Aishwarya, unaware of what truly awaited her, clutched the orb tightly, her mind racing with plans to use it against Kiara.

But as the woman stepped onto the empty road, she paused, slowly removing her veil. The dim streetlights revealed her face—it was Betty. A sly, cold smile curved her lips, her eyes gleaming with dark intent.

"Foolish girl," Betty whispered to herself, her voice carrying an icy certainty. "You think this is your fight? No… today, Kiara will burn to death."

She lifted her hand, letting the orb's faint red glow reflect in her eyes. "What witches cannot do… a mere human will accomplish."

With that, she disappeared into the night, leaving only the distant echo of her footsteps and the ominous red glow fading along the empty road.

The college dance hall shimmered under soft crimson light. Red heart-shaped balloons floated above the dazzling crowd, fairy lights draped from wall to wall like constellations pulled down to earth. Couples swayed gently to the music, the room glowing with warmth, laughter, and Valentine excitement.

Near the bar counter, Yuvaan stood with a glass of whiskey in his hand — swirling it absently, pretending to be calm, but his eyes kept flickering toward the entrance every few seconds. His hair fell effortlessly in soft waves, the black-and-red suit giving him a dangerous elegance.

And then she arrived.

Kiara, in her stunning red gown, walked in with Anya, and for a moment the entire hall blurred for Yuvaan. He went still — breath forgotten, glass paused mid-air — as if the world had slowed to honour her entrance.

His gaze softened, then sharpened… mesmerised, captivated… claimed.

Angad, who had been standing beside him, noticed immediately and smirked.

Angad grinned and nudged him.

"You're gone already, totally in love with sister-in-law."

Yuvaan didn't deny it. He simply exhaled, a small smirk forming as his eyes stayed locked on Kiara.

He murmured under his breath, "Who wouldn't be?"

Angad chuckled and shook his head.

"Alright, alright… control yourself. You're staring as if you'll set her on fire."

Yuvaan finally blinked, turning slightly with a teasing smirk.

"Not fire… just drawn to her. Like she's the only real thing in this entire room."

Angad lifted his brows dramatically.

"That's exactly what I'm saying — love."

But Yuvaan didn't argue. He simply tipped his whiskey glass in acknowledgment, his gaze still pulled toward Kiara as she scanned the hall — secretly hoping she was searching for him.

The moment Yuvaan reached Kiara, her breath caught. He lowered his gaze gently, a soft warmth in his eyes, and extended his hand toward her.

"May I have a dance with this lovely lady?"

Kiara placed her hand in his, her pulse already racing, and he led her toward the dance floor where couples swayed under the glowing lights. The moment his hand settled at her waist and her fingers intertwined with his, the music shifted… the air softened… and the world dissolved into melody.

Ho… sun saathiya maahiya,

the lyrics floated like a warm breeze through the hall,

and Kiara felt him draw her closer — as if the universe itself whispered for their hearts to align.

Barsa de ishqa ki syahiyaan,

the words spread through her like a monsoon of emotions,

and in his embrace she felt drenched in a love she had never dared to imagine.

Rang jaaun, rang rang jaaun ri, haari main…

She moved with him, lost completely,

as though every hidden shade of her soul found colour in his arms,

each step painting her deeper into him.

Yuvaan guided her effortlessly, eyes locked with hers,

and the music echoed around them.

Tujhpe main jhar jhar jhar jaaun,

his thumb brushed her hand gently,

and her heart spilled open like a trembling waterfall.

Hoon piya bas teri main,

his gaze said it before any words could,

a silent vow that her existence had become his gravity.

Ho chhu le toh khari main…

Her breath faltered when he spun her softly,

and when she returned to his arms,

she felt steady — because his touch anchored her.

The dance floor faded.

Only their heartbeat remained.

Main ret si, boond ka zariya tu…

She felt like desert sand finding rain,

and every inch of her warmed under his presence.

Paa ke tujhe bheeg jaaun re…

Her hands tightened slightly on his shoulders

as her emotions soaked into the moment.

Main ret si, boond ka zariya tu…

The music swirled gently,

her world reshaped around the man holding her.

Paa ke tujhe bheeg jaaun ri…

It felt like she could finally breathe.

Tar jaaun tar tar jaaun,

their steps glided in perfect synchrony,

as if their souls had known this dance long before their bodies did.

Dariya ye tar jaaun jee…

She felt him leading her into depths she never feared,

trusting him without question.

Ishq ye paake main tera nikhar jaaun ri…

Her cheeks glowed softly,

each heartbeat refining her feelings into something luminous.

Yuvaan held her closer,

her hair brushing his cheek, her scent imprinting on his breath.

Piya bas teri main…

The world outside their embrace vanished entirely.

Ho… chhu le toh khari main…

His fingertips trailed down her arm,

and she felt steady again — unshakeable — because it was him.

Their foreheads nearly touched, both smiling without meaning to,

while the hall melted into red lights and soft music.

Ho… sun saathiya maahiya, barsa de ishqa ki syahiyaan…

The final notes wrapped around them

like a promise,

like fate weaving itself between their hearts.

And as the song ended,

they were still holding each other —

still swaying —

still lost.
