Chapter 76 - Takeshi: My S-Class Quest!!!

"Eh?!"

Lucy was scared. "Then you still dare to do it?!"

Natsu said, "If I don't, I'll never be able to do an S-Class Quest."

Lucy refused, "Anyway, if you two want to do it, go ahead, but I'm absolutely not going."

On one hand, it was because of Fairy Tail's rules that non-S-Class Mages could not take on S-Class Quests.

On the other hand, she remembered how terrifying Takeshi was, especially his 'Tyrant' form. Just standing there, she felt like she was going to wet herself.

If Takeshi found out she had secretly taken his quest, she couldn't even imagine the consequences.

Natsu said, "Tch, fine. I even wanted to bring you along. Happy, let's go."

"Aye!"

Natsu and Happy jumped out of the window.

"Ugh!"

Lucy sighed helplessly. Natsu was too reckless, even daring to secretly take on an S-Class Quest.

"Forget it, I'm not thinking about it anymore. Time to sleep."

Just as Lucy turned to go back to her bedroom to sleep, she saw a piece of paper on the floor beside her. It was the S-Class Quest Happy had stolen, and she was startled.

"What is this?!"

"Why didn't he take this paper with him?! Doesn't this mean I stole it? What should I do?!"

At this moment, Lucy noticed the reward on the request. Besides 7 million, there was also a Golden Key.

She quickly picked it up and examined it carefully. "Can I really get a Celestial Spirit Gate Key?!"

Celestial Spirit Gate Keys were useless to other Mages, but they were incredibly precious to Celestial Spirit Mages. There were only twelve Celestial Spirit Gate Keys in the entire world.

She hadn't expected one of them to be a reward for this quest.

"..."

Lucy immediately ran to the window and shouted, "Natsu! Happy! Wait for me!"

"Oh no!"

"Master, the request forms on the second floor are gone."

Mirajane counted the requests every morning to ensure that no quests were lost, which could cause trouble for the clients.

This morning, as she arrived at the second-floor request area, she saw that the request board was empty. The S-Class Quest request form she had originally prepared for Takeshi was missing.

This immediately made her anxious. The loss of an S-Class Quest was no small matter. She hurried down the stairs to report to Makarov.

"Pfft—!"

Makarov sprayed out the alcohol in his mouth when he heard this, and the usually noisy Fairy Tail suddenly fell silent.

Laxus's leisurely voice rang out. "Last night, I saw a cat tearing it off. Oh, and that cat had wings."

"Happy?!"

Speaking of a winged cat, Happy was the only one in the Fairy Tail Guild.

"So Natsu and Lucy are involved too?!"

"What were thet thinking? Those idiots have really messed up now."

"They just went off to take on an S-Class Quest?!"

Everyone in Fairy Tail looked shocked. An S-Class Quest was not a simple task, one misjudgment could cost even an S-Class Mage their life.

In Fairy Tail, only S-Class Mages, with Master's explicit permission, were allowed to take on such high-difficulty quests.

Laxus said to Makarov, "This seriously violates Fairy Tail's rules. When they come back, they'll be kicked out of Fairy Tail, right, old man? Speaking of which, with their pathetic skills, they want to do an S-Class Quest? They probably won't make it back, hahahaha."

Mirajane angrily confronted Laxus, demanding, "Laxus, you clearly knew the consequences, why didn't you stop them?!"

Laxus argued, "I only saw a gust of wind blow by, and a cat tear off a piece of paper and run away. How was I supposed to know it was Happy, or that Natsu was going to do an S-Class Quest?"

Mirajane glared at Laxus.

Laxus didn't care in the slightest. "Oh, it's been a while since I've seen that expression on you."

Makarov asked Mirajane, "What quest was the missing paper for?"

He had been at a meeting when this quest had arrived, and having just returned and dealing with the trouble Takeshi had caused, he wasn't clear on what quest it was.

"Galuna Island."

Makarov's face changed drastically, and he exclaimed, "It's Demon Isle!"

Everyone in Fairy Tail was startled to hear this. Demon Isle was famous, it was said that true demons resided on that island, hence its name.

"Laxus, go bring them back to me!"

Laxus shook his head. "Are you kidding? I'm about to start work now. Mages who can't clean up their own messes don't deserve to be in Fairy Tail, right?"

"Ugh..."

Makarov didn't expect Laxus to use his own words against him.

Just then, Mirajane suddenly remembered Takeshi. "Master! There's also Takeshi. This quest was originally for him, but you weren't here at the time, so he temporarily didn't go."

Makarov's eyes also lit up. That brat Takeshi was very enthusiastic about S-Class Quests. With his strength, catching Natsu and the others would be easy.

"Jet! Go find Takeshi immediately!"

"Yes!"

Jet received the order and immediately used his magic to rush towards Takeshi's house.

...

In the early morning, Takeshi woke up, stretched, and yawned. The fatigue from being drunk the night before was swept away, and he felt refreshed and energetic.

"The weather's nice today, perfect for a quest."

He quickly packed his belongings, intending to go to the Guild, accept a quest, and depart.

Just then—

Thump... Thump...

A rapid knocking sound echoed.

"Who is it? Coming!"

Takeshi was a bit curious about who would come looking for him so early in the morning. He opened the door and saw Jet standing outside.

"Jet? Why are you here?"

"Takeshi, Master needs to see you."

"Master needs me?"

Takeshi was a bit puzzled, but he quickly followed Jet to the Guild.

As soon as they arrived at the Guild, Mirajane came up to him. "Takeshi, it's bad. Natsu and the others secretly went to do an S-Class Quest."

Takeshi asked, "So what if they did? An S-Class Quest isn't that big of a deal."

At this moment, he hadn't realized the seriousness of the problem.

"He took your S-Class Quest?"

"What?!!" Takeshi's voice immediately rose.

Then his expression turned ferocious. "Damn it! Do these guys want to die?! How dare they touch my quest?!"

His S-Class Quests were crucial to the speed of his growth. They could touch anything else, but not his S-Class Quests.

"I'll go kill them!"
