The entire Hero Association building felt cold.
The leader, Dr. Ryusei, stood frozen, staring at the replay of his son Jin's death. His hands shook. His lips trembled. His eyes were empty.
He wasn't angry.
He wasn't shouting.
He looked… broken.
> Ryusei (whispering):
"Jin… my son… Shadow… I will never forgive you."
Beside him, the Co-Leader stepped forward calmly.
Co-Leader: Akihiro Senzai
> Akihiro:
"Leader, I'm preparing the S+ Elite Squad… and the military teams are being deployed to search for Shadow's location."
Ryusei didn't answer.
He simply nodded once, like a machine that had lost its heart.

[Terrace — Hero Association HQ]
On the top of the building, a lone figure stood.
A man in a black hoodie, hands in pockets, white glowing eyes, expression unreadable.
He watched the entire conversation by using his strange hearing ability… every word about Shadow… and Jin's death.
He smirked.
> ??? (softly):
"So… things are getting interesting."
And then—
FWOOSH.
He vanished into the night sky.

[10 Minutes Later]
A military helicopter flew low over an empty road.
> Soldier:
"We found him! Shadow spotted! Sending coordinates to S+!"
The screen flashed red.
S+ Elite Squad: LOCATION RECEIVED.

[Scene Shift — Shadow]
Shadow stood calmly in the middle of the road, staring at the helicopter.
> Shadow (confused):
"…What is this thing? A metal bird?"
He squinted.
Helicopters didn't exist 2,000 years ago.
Suddenly—
TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT!!!
Bullets rained on him.
They bounced off his skin like dust.
> Shadow:
"Ah… Hero Association's toys."
A tank rolled in from the side.
Shadow cracked his neck.
> Shadow:
"Alright… warm-up time."
Before he could move—
FWOOOOOM!!!
A massive fireball came from behind.
Shadow dodged easily.
He turned around.
The S+ Elite Squad had finally arrived.
All five of them stood proudly, weapons glowing, eyes fixed on Shadow.

[S+ ELITE SQUAD ENTERS]
Renguro Kaen (Captain — Fire)
> Renguro:
"Shadow! You killed Jin. I'll end you here."
Shadow smirked.
> Shadow:
"So you're the S+ squad your leader cried about."
Renguro shot forward with insane speed—
his fist covered in flames.
Move: Scarlet Fire Punch
BOOOOM!!!
Shadow dodged, the ground exploding behind him.
Sora (Air), Tetsuya (Ice), Hana (Earth), and Mizuki (Water) charged in.
Shadow jumped back, laughing.
> Shadow:
"Finally… a real fight."

[The Surrounding Attack]
All five rushed in.
Renguro fired rapid fireballs
Sora attacked with slicing wind blades
Mizuki shot water spears
Hana slammed rocks from the ground
Tetsuya froze the air around him
Shadow dodged everything with smooth, dancing movements.
> Shadow (taunting):
"Too slow."
But then—
Tetsuya Rin (Ice)
Cold wind blasted across the battlefield.
Move: Frozen Breath
WHOOSH!!!
Shadow froze for 1–3 seconds, his body locked by ice.
His eye twitched.
> Shadow (angry):
"You bastard…"

["FIRE EVERYTHING!"]
Every soldier, tank, and Elite Squad member attacked at the same time.
Fire.
Ice.
Wind.
Earth.
Water.
Bullets.
Missiles.
The explosion lit up the sky.
But as the smoke cleared—
Shadow smiled.
> Shadow:
"My turn."
He jumped high—
higher than any human could.
His arm turned into a blade.
Move: Bitter Blade
SWISH—SWISH—SWISH—SWISH!!
In one second, Shadow cut the helicopter into tiny pieces.
The burning metal rained like fire.
Shadow copied Renguro's attack, gathering flames in his hand.
Move: Scarlet Burst (Copy)
BOOM!!
Tanks exploded instantly.

Hana Tsukino slammed her hands on the ground.
> Hana:
"Rising Boulder!"
A massive rock rose beneath Shadow and trapped him.
Shadow struggled for a moment.
> Shadow:
"Tch… annoying."
He shattered the rock and jumped out.

[Fire Captain's Ultimate Attack]
Renguro flew into the air, flames swirling around him like a burning sun.
> Renguro:
"This is the end for you… SHADOW!"
Ultimate Move: Phoenix Hellfire
A giant flaming phoenix charged toward Shadow—
Shadow didn't move.
He had no time.
But—
ZOOOOOM!!!
A streak of light passed.
A man grabbed Shadow and escaped instantly—faster than light.
The flaming phoenix exploded behind them, shaking the entire forest.

[Deep Dark Cave]
Shadow landed on the ground, coughing dust.
> Shadow:
"…Who are you?"
The hooded man stepped forward.
He removed his hood.
White glowing eyes. Sharp face. Cold smile.
Shadow's expression changed for the first time.
He looked… shocked.
> Shadow:
"You… YOU are—"
