How much is the magic wand?
Harry was as confused as a monk who had lost his way.
You're a dark wizard, wanting to buy a magic wand, shouldn't you go buy it from Diagon Alley's shops?
He then looked down at the magic wand in his hand, and then at his black cloak, finally understanding.
It should be said that the magic wands produced by the Weasley twins are truly classic, classic to the point of being indistinguishable from the real thing.
With a bundle of magic wands like this placed in Olivander's Wand Shop, I fear even Olivander himself wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
However...
No matter how authentic it looks, it's still fake. Once magic power is injected, trying to cast a spell with it would turn it into a quacking rubber duck.
This is a fatal flaw.
Thinking of this, Harry lowered his voice and said, "Five Galleons, but it's a one-time-use wand."
He really wasn't lying, the toy wand is indeed one-time-use, so the Weasley twins sell this stuff for only four Sickles—one Sickle for cost, and three Sickles for labor, it's not expensive at all.
"A one-time-use wand?"
Upon hearing Harry's words, the dark wizards showed a hint of joy.
Oh, one-time-use is good...
"How many do you have?" that dark wizard asked, "Give me a wand to see, I need to try it..."
"Just as I said."
Harry's eyes turned, a plan forming in his mind.
As he spoke, he pulled out the confiscated wand from a dark wizard from his wallet, secretly setting a triggerable spell in it—once someone uses the wand, it would self-destruct.
After he handled it, Harry handed the wand to the dark wizard.
"You can give it a try, sir—but you'll still have to pay for it."
The dark wizard waved a hand: "Don't worry, as long as it meets my requirements, money is not a problem!"
Saying this, he took the 'one-time-use' wand that Harry had tampered with.
"Lumos (Fluorescent Flickering)!"
The tip of the wand lit up with a red glow, and the dark wizard smiled satisfactorily when he saw the spell work.
He waved the wand again, aiming at the leaves beside him.
"Wingardium Leviosa!"
However, this time, his spell didn't work.
The wand sizzled twice and turned to ashes in the dark wizard's delighted gaze.
"Good! Very good! Excellent!"
The dark wizard repeatedly praised, not holding back his words of admiration—even if he was slightly at a loss for words.
Such a wand, isn't it perfect for the great undertaking they are about to carry out soon?
Just think about it, a one-time-use wand that burns up after use, leaving no worries about being tracked by those pesky folks at the Ministry of Magic...
Is there a more perfect wand than this?
"This is exactly what I need—so, how much stock do you have? I need a large quantity, very large—" he said earnestly to Harry.
Harry did a quick calculation... How much did the twins bring... Charlie took five, Ron took six, and he had five here... It should add up to at least over thirty.
Thinking of this, he said to the dark wizard, "I only brought five here, you know, these things are a bit sensitive."
"Understood, understood," the dark wizard wore a 'I understand' expression.
Harry thought to himself, you don't understand a damn thing, but he didn't show the slightest impatience on his face.
He handed the five wands to the dark wizard: "Twenty-five Galleons."
The dark wizard cheerfully took out twenty-five gold coins and stuffed them into Harry's hand.
Harry pocketed the coins and said to him, "Wait here for me a moment, I'll go get some more for you."
"Alright," the dark wizard nodded.
Harry walked around left and right, searching in the camp, and finally found the twins who were peddling.
It was apparent that the fake wands seemed unpopular, at least the wands in the twins' hands were still all there.
Seeing Harry's figure, George waved and asked, "Why are you back so soon?"
"All sold out," Harry spread his hands and said to the twins, "A total of twenty-five Galleons, look..."
He pulled out the Galleons from his pocket and handed them to the twins.
"You didn't secretly dump the wands, did you?" the twins asked incredulously, "Sold them all so quickly? Merlin's beard..."
"That generous customer needs many more wands," Harry told them, "If you don't believe it, Fred—you can go with me to take a look, of course, you'll need to disguise yourself."
The twins then noticed Harry's peculiar outfit, their playful nature immediately thinking that something fun must be happening.
Thinking of this, they said in unison, "That can absolutely be arranged—wait a sec, I've got another thirty here... Ron and Charlie have basically gone wild, they didn't help me sell at all, they came back with the wands shortly after you left, saying they were following the Malfoy family to get Bulgaria Team's signatures."
"Those two are completely unreliable!" Harry also criticized, "So you give me the wands—besides, who's coming with me?"
"I'll go with you," said Fred, "Do you have another one of those black robes? It looks pretty cool..."
"You'll need to cover your red hair," Harry added, "After all, we're going to deal with dark wizards, and that red hair of yours... well, it doesn't quite scream dark wizard."
This comment wasn't wrong; for some reason, there were very few red-haired dark wizards, an almost rare occurrence.
