The shadow of doubt cast by Deputy Commissioner Tom's words was insidious, but Su Yi's goal remained clear: stabilize the situation and eliminate Kingpin as quickly as possible. Fortunately, Peter and Gwen were resilient and maintained their resolve.
Evidence was steadily accumulating. Matt Murdock's team—including his resolute law partner, Foggy Nelson, and their close associate, Peggy—were diligently uncovering vital financial and logistical clues. They now only needed to secure key witnesses to finalize the case.
To apply external pressure and secure the integrity of the arrests, Su Yi sought help from the ultimate powerful ally.
"Hey, Tony, I've come to see you again," Su Yi greeted Tony Stark, who was tinkering lazily in his massive workshop.
Tony, enjoying his downtime now that Pepper handled Stark Industries, sighed dramatically. "What are you doing here? I'm not your employee, you know!"
"Of course not," Su Yi replied with a charming smile. "That's why I'm here to ask for your help. If you're willing to help me with this, I'll give you a gift."
Tony instantly perked up. "A gift? What kind?"
"Are you sure you want to know now, or wait until after you've earned it?"
Tony took a sip of his wine. "Su, it's not that I don't believe you, it's just that you're too cunning."
"Cunning? Me?"
"Yes, you."
"Fine," Su Yi conceded. "Since you insist, let me show you."
Su Yi's gift was the Batmobile. Using his Teleportation ability, he cleared a space and brought the massive, intimidating vehicle from a pocket dimension.
Tony stared, completely captivated, as the low-slung, heavily armored machine materialized out of thin air.
"Su, is that also one of your superpowers?" Tony asked, abandoning his wine and walking toward the car.
"Kind of," Su Yi admitted.
"Seriously, how many superpowers do you actually have?"
"I don't even know myself," Su Yi replied with a smirk. "Just know that there will be more and more, and I'll keep getting stronger."
Tony completely dismissed Su Yi, focusing entirely on the vehicle. "This car... where did it come from?"
"Another world," Su Yi explained. "It was modified by a non-powered hero named Batman."
Tony, a lifelong automotive enthusiast, circled the Batmobile. Its massive tires and powerful, modified chassis clearly indicated it was designed for combat and extreme conditions.
"Is this thing even street legal?"
"Under normal circumstances, absolutely not. But its owner is similar to you—a billionaire playboy by day, a hero by night. This is his tool."
"It figures," Tony scoffed. "Only a rich guy could afford to play with this. Though I must say, his modification skills are still slightly inferior to mine. And black is so... not flashy enough."
"His nickname is Batman," Su Yi explained. "He operates in the dark, so black is essential for stealth."
Tony was already trying to open the cockpit. "Can I go in and try it?"
"Of course, but be careful of the weapon system," Su Yi warned. "Unless you want to vaporize your living room."
"I'm a genius, I can handle a car." Tony slid into the Batmobile. With J.A.R.V.I.S.'s help, he was rapidly analyzing the vehicle's mechanics.
"Hidden motorcycle, too! Nifty," Tony noted. "But this brutal, wild style isn't for me. I prefer elegance."
"You prefer cooler," Su Yi corrected.
"You understand me perfectly! But seriously, this car is fantastic. I love it." Tony climbed out. "So, back to business. What exactly do you need my help with, after this incredible gift?"
Su Yi handed Tony a dossier on Wilson Fisk.
"We've been investigating a massive criminal organization led by this man, Kingpin. His personal strength is a joke to me, but he is extremely rich."
"And you know what having that kind of money means in this city," Tony finished, his mood immediately souring. Tony's connections to government figures and military leaders meant he understood the corrosive power of wealth.
"Exactly," Su Yi confirmed. "We've gathered evidence and are moving to apprehend the key witnesses soon. But as you saw with the police frame-up, the system is compromised."
"So, I need you to step forward and use your influence. With Iron Man and the Hero Daily pushing the truth, it will go viral and make it nearly impossible for the corrupted judges and politicians to protect Kingpin."
Tony understood the strategic value. As the only public, non-masked superhero and a major public figure, his endorsement would lend unparalleled weight to the heroes' cause.
"I'll help," Tony agreed, his casual demeanor gone. "I had no idea such a tumor was festering right under my nose. This Kingpin needs to go."
"When do you need me?"
"I'm not sure yet," Su Yi replied. "I'm only responsible for supervision. I want to train Peter and Gwen to handle the tactical side of this. They are running the operation."
Tony gave him a skeptical look. "Apparently, you're also very young."
"But I'm very confident in my abilities," Su Yi countered.
Tony suddenly remembered the Deputy Commissioner's wild accusation. "So, Su, can you really disguise yourself as others, or control people's actions, as they are suggesting?"
"I don't have those abilities, and I don't need them," Su Yi scoffed. "Why would I need to disguise myself as someone else? Are they as handsome as I am? And control people? That's a waste of energy. I can destroy a building with one punch."
Tony's eyes lit up with scientific curiosity. "Su, I think you need a comprehensive check-up. We need to test the limits of your abilities—for science! I can help you with this." Tony's true intention was clear: gather data to create an Iron Man Armor specifically designed to counteract Su Yi's unpredictable powers.
Su Yi saw right through him. "I know what you want to do: collect my data and build an armor to target me. Unfortunately, it's useless."
Tony quickly denied it, waving his hands. "How could that be? I'm not that kind of person! We're friends!"
The alliance with Tony Stark is secured, and the final preparations for Kingpin's downfall are underway.
