Piccolo looked at the group and said, "Stay here. If you want to watch, keep your distance."
"Come on, Piccolo! You've got this!" Krillin encouraged.
"Uncle Piccolo, I know you can defeat Frieza!" Gohan added firmly.
"Don't worry. Leave it to me this time," Piccolo replied with newfound confidence, his power surging.
Turning his gaze toward the direction of Frieza and Vegeta, he muttered, "Then I'll be going."
With that, Piccolo flared his aura and shot forward.
Frieza had already pummeled Vegeta, dropping him to the ground with a contemptuous punch.
"Vegeta," Frieza sneered, "you betray me with such pitiful strength? You're nothing more than a fool who overestimates himself."
"But consider yourself fortunate. Before I finish you, I'll be merciful and show you my true form—my final form."
Frieza's body began to change, shifting into his ultimate state.
Vegeta, clutching his stomach, stared in horror. "Damn it… Frieza, what kind of monster are you? How can you be this strong?"
Fear consumed him. Frieza's power was a bottomless abyss, impossible to gauge.
For the first time, Vegeta regretted turning against him. I should've waited until I was truly powerful…
Piccolo, racing closer, sensed Frieza's energy spike. "So… he's entering his final transformation."
He accelerated.
Frieza, midway through his metamorphosis, noticed the Namekian approaching.
"That one… wasn't he badly injured? How is he standing there as if nothing happened? And his ki—it feels different."
Vegeta looked up at Piccolo with disdain. "Hmph. That Namekian must have a death wish. Instead of running, he comes here to die. Fool."
Piccolo descended and landed in front of Frieza, calmly waiting for the transformation to finish.
He wanted to witness the true depth of Frieza's power firsthand, even if it was a dangerous gamble.
But he had underestimated Frieza.
Until now, every transformation had multiplied Frieza's combat power predictably—
530,000 → 1.2 million
1.2 million → 2.2 million
But the final form was different. It wasn't a simple multiplication—it was a qualitative leap.
When the transformation ended, Frieza's body had slimmed down, sleek and compact.
No longer grotesque—he now looked deceptively refined.
Piccolo scowled. "So this is your final form? Smaller, huh. You look… miniature."
Frieza chuckled darkly. "Namekian, I don't know how you've recovered, but since you came charging at me…"
Before he could finish, he raised a finger and fired a Death Beam.
But to his surprise, Piccolo effortlessly dodged it.
"What?!" Frieza's eyes narrowed. "You didn't have that kind of speed before. What happened to you, Namek?"
Piccolo smirked. "Just like you, I've grown stronger."
Frieza laughed loudly. "Bold words, Namekian! Confidence can be deadly."
"Then test me and see," Piccolo said, taking his stance.
Frieza's aura exploded, his combat power climbing from 3 million to over 4 million.
Piccolo felt every shift of his ki.
Frieza lunged first, and Piccolo countered, refusing to unleash his full power right away.
He wanted to measure his enemy.
Vegeta staggered to his feet and backed away, panic written across his face.
"I don't know what's going on with that Namekian, but I need to get out of here. I almost died just now…"
The memory of Frieza's devastating power haunted him.
Meanwhile, Frieza was baffled mid-battle. "Impossible! You used all your strength before, yet now your power has risen so drastically. How?!"
Piccolo only smirked. "There's plenty you don't know, Frieza."
His only focus now was victory.
Frieza shook his head. "No matter. Even if I don't understand, it changes nothing. Nobody—nobody—can defeat me."
"Is that so?" Piccolo replied.
He was holding back, using only half his strength, but he could already tell—Frieza hadn't gone all out either.
The Namekian tightened his guard. He would need caution in this battle.
