The battle raged for nearly ten minutes.
Piccolo was completely exhausted, having inflicted only minor injuries on King Cold.
"Damn it!" Piccolo growled. "Even using everything I had, I barely scratched him!"
"Haha! Namekian, I must commend you. To injure me at all is impressive." King Cold's tone was mocking, but deep down, he was irritated.
He had finally managed to subdue Piccolo, and if the fight dragged on any longer, it would have been laughable for the great King Cold to struggle against a single Namekian.
But Piccolo smirked despite his exhaustion. "You think beating me means you've won? Keep dreaming."
"What do you mean by that?" King Cold frowned, unable to read the hidden meaning in Piccolo's words.
At that moment, Goku appeared beside Piccolo and tossed him a Senzu Bean. "Well done, Piccolo. Leave the rest to me."
Piccolo caught it, smiled, and swallowed it down. His strength returned instantly. "It's all yours, Goku."
The moment Goku stepped forward, the Z Warriors knew the battle's outcome was already decided.
From the sidelines, Gohan sighed in relief. "Good thing Dad arrived in time. Otherwise, Uncle Piccolo would've been in real trouble."
"Don't worry, Gohan." Krillin patted his shoulder with a grin. "Goku would never let anything happen to his friends. That's just who he is."
Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu all nodded in agreement.
Goku would never stand by while his comrades were in danger. That's what made him Goku.
Piccolo stepped back, satisfied.
He had gained much from his fight, even if he hadn't won—valuable experience and insight that would fuel his future training.
King Cold shifted his gaze to Goku. "I know what you are… a Saiyan."
Though his voice was calm, his heart wavered. The Saiyan before him radiated a terrifying power.
If he truly was a Super Saiyan, then there would be trouble.
After witnessing Vegeta's overwhelming strength as a Super Saiyan, King Cold felt no confidence in defeating another.
Meanwhile, Vegeta, locked in battle with Cooler, noticed Goku's move from the corner of his eye.
"Kakarot, you're finally stepping in," he muttered.
"That one's a Saiyan too?" Cooler snarled.
"Frieza was a fool! He let so many monkeys survive, and now they've become a plague. If he'd finished the job, I wouldn't have to deal with this mess."
Vegeta sneered. "Exactly! Because of Frieza's stupidity, you're all going to die here today."
"Arrogant little monkey!" Cooler roared.
"Don't think you can mock me just because you've become a Super Saiyan!" His attacks on Vegeta grew more frantic, his anxiety mounting.
Deep down, Cooler admitted the truth to himself—Vegeta's Super Saiyan power was beyond anything he had anticipated.
If he'd known the Super Saiyan legend was this real, he would never have rushed into attacking Earth.
Cooler was cautious by nature, and his thoughts spun wildly.
Is there another way to kill these Saiyans? Or should I find a way to escape?
But Vegeta didn't care about Cooler's worries. He was lost in the thrill of battle.
Meanwhile, King Cold lunged at Goku.
To everyone's shock—except the Z Warriors—Goku responded instantly, driving his fist straight through King Cold's stomach.
A gaping hole tore through the tyrant's body, and his life force plummeted.
Eyes wide with disbelief, King Cold gasped, "You… you're not even a Super Saiyan… How can you have such terrifying power?"
Goku didn't bother to answer. He raised one hand and unleashed a powerful energy blast, vaporizing King Cold into dust.
The Z Warriors weren't surprised in the slightest. This was Goku—eliminating an enemy like King Cold was just another day's work.
But Cooler was stunned beyond words. His father had been defeated in an instant, by a Saiyan who hadn't even transformed.
Vegeta smirked at Cooler's horrified expression.
"Cooler, let me tell you the truth—Kakarot can also become a Super Saiyan. And his Super Saiyan power is even greater than mine."
"What?!" Cooler's eyes widened in fear. Two Super Saiyans? That was more than trouble—it was a nightmare.
Even with all his pride, Cooler had no confidence now.
It was hard enough to deal with Vegeta, but against Goku as well? Impossible.
His instincts screamed the truth: there was no point in fighting anymore. Escape was the only option.
