Fu Kui was originally the Thunder Marsh God of the southeastern Kunlun Mountain.
With a dragon's head and human body, mastering wind and thunder, he was the first among the new generation of Gods to touch the ceiling of the "Celestial God".
However, he was stuck at the final step of "Qi Refining and Divinity Transformation", unable to transform his Primordial Spirit into Celestial Disaster Thunder, failing to achieve the true Undying Yang God.
Fu Kui knew that his understanding of "God" was flawed.
With his innate supreme talent, Fu Kui could roam freely between heaven and earth in the phase where his Primordial Spirit turned into Yin Spirit, unfazed by the sun and the threat of thunder.
But because of this, the Yin Spirit that had not undergone tempering could never truly transform into Yang God.
Therefore, Fu Kui decided to head to the Hundred Li Mountain Range to seek teachings from the Tao Ancestor.
