The touch was as light as a feather, yet it made Babyface's body hair stand on end; he hadn't noticed anyone approaching at all.
A finger lightly flicked his wrist.
"Uh!"
Babyface let out a muffled groan; his entire arm felt electrified, the numbness quickly spreading to one side of his body, his fingers stiffened as if in spasm, and his phone almost slipped from his grasp.
He widened his eyes suddenly, staring into an old face as wrinkled as tree bark.
In the darkness, that old face appeared particularly eerie and terrifying, its cloudy eyes slightly rotating in their deep sockets, the corners of the mouth pulling back to reveal a set of jagged, decayed yellow-black teeth.
"It's you, you..."
Babyface's facial muscles twitched, his vocal cords trembling:
"Didn't you say you weren't hungry and went to sleep?"
He suddenly shut his mouth, realizing he had asked a stupid question.
He knew that with people like this old guy, not a single word could be trusted.
