The moment the scene played out in White-Robed Drunkard's stream, chat froze for a beat—
then detonated into wild laughter.
[HAHAHAHAHA!]
[Serves you right, Old Thief! Showing off like that—karma's instant!]
[Thought you'd be first to meet Garp the Hero, huh? Turns out the man didn't even stop at Loguetown!]
[Can't… breathe… this is too good!]
[Half a bottle of champagne gone for nothing!]
The comments scrolled so fast they blurred.
White-Robed Drunkard, still standing before Tashigi, looked like a man struck by lightning.
Only after a long silence did he twitch back to life.
"Sergeant Tashigi, are you serious? Why didn't Vice Admiral Garp dock here? Aren't we East Blue's First Division?"
Tashigi sighed—his disbelief mirrored her own reaction when she'd first heard.
"Vice Admiral Garp's… not exactly one for protocol. My guess? He's in a hurry to deliver Captain Morgan back to Headquarters."
Her tone softened. "He's probably already on his way."
"Just left?" White-Robed asked, voice shaking.
She nodded—and he bolted.
He sprinted through the streets of Loguetown, cape flaring, lungs burning, until he reached the docks.
There—on the horizon—a massive silhouette cut through the waves.
A marine battleship, larger than any in the East Blue, its prow carved into the shape of a dog's head.
"That's… Garp's ship?"
His voice cracked, the grin on his face collapsing into despair.
A low rumble of smoke drifted in beside him.
"You admire him that much?" a voice asked.
White-Robed turned to see Smoker, half-shrouded in haze, cigar glowing faintly.
"Captain Smoker…" he mumbled.
Smoker's expression was unreadable, though his voice softened slightly.
"If you really want to meet the Vice Admiral, you'll get your chance. They'll bring Morgan to Headquarters—his ship will pass by again."
"…Really?" White-Robed muttered.
But in his head, the words weren't about honor or heroism.
He'd wanted to farm Garp for rewards.
Now?
Total loss.
He'd whiffed the event.
His groan echoed through chat as viewers reveled in his misery.
[Too good! My lungs hurt from laughing!]
[The mighty Old Thief defeated by logistics!]
[All that bragging—gone with the tide!]
One man's heartbreak. A million people's joy.
Meanwhile — Syrup Village
The battlefield on the slope finally quieted.
The Black Cat Pirates lay defeated; their flags hung in tatters.
Though Captain Kuro, with his sixteen-million bounty and fearsome techniques—Shakushi and Silent Step—had pushed them hard,
Luffy's instincts and battle wits had turned the tide.
Now, the Straw Hat crew lay sprawled on the grassy hillside, basking in the warm sun of victory.
Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Little Fisherman formed a loose circle, grinning and breathing hard.
In front of Fisherman, glowing text appeared.
[Congratulations! As a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, you have defeated the Black Cat Pirates. Reward: 1× Blue-Silver Chest]
[Contribution recognized: +2000 points]
His eyes lit up.
"Finally! My turn to shine!"
He scampered aside, summoning the treasure chest into the air.
The silver-blue box shimmered with runes, pulsing faintly.
"Brothers, this is my first Blue-Silver Chest—let's see what I get!"
He rubbed his palms together, cheeks jiggling with excitement.
The chest opened in a burst of white light.
[Ding! You have obtained: Blue-Rank Ability Card ×1]
"An ability card?" Fisherman blinked, reading the tooltip.
[Blue Ability Card: Allows the user to copy a blue-rank skill from any nearby target. Success rate increases with closer power level. Cannot copy skills above blue rarity. If no target is specified, a random blue skill will be selected.]
"Sounds pretty good!" he gasped.
Among the five streamers, Xiao Kaka had the biggest following.
The Net-Addict Girl was still struggling at the Isshin Dojo.
White-Robed Drunkard and Sword-Shadow Flowyear were higher level than him.
Only Fisherman—tagging along with Luffy—had lagged behind.
Not anymore.
"Brothers, the tables have turned! Time for me to flex!"
He puffed his chest, scampered over to where Kuro lay unconscious, and muttered under his breath:
"Copy ability—Shakushi!"
The chat roared.
[Good choice! That technique's terrifyingly fast!]
[No sound, pure blur—perfect escape or strike move!]
[But can he even copy it? What if it's higher than blue rank?]
The system chimed again.
[Ding! Successfully copied ability: "Shakushi."]

Fisherman grinned so wide his face nearly split.
"Brothers, your boy's finally made it!"
He threw his arms wide, basking in his own triumph.
"One lucky turn—and I'm back on top! And with 2500 points left…"
He clapped his hands together, eyes gleaming.
"Let's open two more chests for good luck!"
