Chapter 20 - Chapter 19: My Name is Sylphy

A/N: Don't forget to comment, review, collect and send me those beautiful powerstones for motivation so I never drop the book 😁

Also I have heard your complaints about Yuzuki being with girls especially considering his age. So from now on I won't do such. I wouldn't want people feeling uncomfortable while reading my fan fiction.

After this period with Emma and Ronda it won't come back again :)

Yuzuki pushed his chair back and dusted off his jacket, clearly preparing to leave. The movement caught Lissa's attention. Her brow lifted as she leaned toward him.

"Are you leaving now, Yuzuki?"

"Yes," he sighed dramatically, "you saying I can't take you home killed all my joy."

Lissa laughed, shaking her head. "That's too bad then." She then reached into her stack and slid a neat pile of chips across the table, ā‚©500 million Jenny worth in total. "These are yours."

Yuzuki accepted them with a grin. "Thank you. How kind of you."

"It was part of our deal," she replied lightly.

Emma and Ronda's eyes followed the chips the entire way, their mouths practically watering. Ronda even muttered under her breath, "Must be nice being rich…"

Across the casino floor, the pit master spotted Yuzuki leaving and his smile instantly flattened. A player betting ā‚©30 million per round would not walk away without him at least attempting to keep him at the tables. And more importantly, the kid was suspicious. Far too lucky. Leaving now made the pit master even more uneasy.

He stood from his pit, straightened his suit, and started walking toward them.

Yuzuki caught sight of him approaching and his expression tightened. Did he catch on to me. But he had no security with him… so probably not trouble, he thought, though the tension sat on his shoulders until the pit master drew close.

Lissa noticed the pitmaster too and leaned toward Yuzuki with a grin. "Have you been caught cheating, Yuzuki? Please don't implicate me, me and you don't know each other okay.."

"Shut up," Yuzuki muttered, attempting an intimidation look but was way too cute to pull it off. "And are you done gambling already?"

Lissa giggled. "I told you, I'm terrible at gambling. With you leaving, If I keep going, I'll hand all my profits back to them."

"How pathetic," Yuzuki said with a smirk.

The pit master finally reached them, smile warm and professional as he greeted, "Mr. Yuzuki, Mrs. Lissa. Leaving already?"

"Yes," Yuzuki replied calmly. "I've had enough for today."

"And since my lucky charm Yuzuki is leaving," Lissa added, tapping Yuzuki's arm, "I'd definitely start losing." as she started laughing.

The pit master laughed politely with her before turning back to Yuzuki. "Is something unsatisfactory with our service? I can offer a discount if you continue playing."

"No," Yuzuki said, shaking his head. "Nothing to do with the casino." A faint smile tugged at his lips. "It's just something an old man used to tell me, leave while you're at the top. I turned ā‚©60 million into ā‚©2 billion. Any more is being greedy. There is no need to get greedy."

The pit master chuckled, folding his hands behind his back. "Is that so? Then that truly was a wise old man."

"He was wise indeed," Yuzuki said quietly. "Old Fin."

A short silence settled between them before the pit master inclined his head. "If that's the case, may I hope to convince you to return next time? We offer many benefits for promising newcomers."

"Oh? Let's hear it," Yuzuki said, folding his arms with a curious smile.

The pit master straightened slightly, eager to deliver his pitch.

"At our Roulette tables, high-rollers like yourself receive several perks," he began.

"First, every session of continuous play earns you tier points toward VIP membership, priority seating, free meals, and complimentary suites. Second, large bets like yours qualify for cashback bonuses. Win or lose, you receive a percentage returned to you. Third, if your wagers stay above a certain threshold, the house covers drinks and personal service entirely. And lastly special tables. If you prefer privacy, we can arrange a closed Roulette table exclusively for you."

Yuzuki nodded along. "Not bad."

"And of course," the pit master added, "this is only Roulette. We have blackjack, baccarat, Texas Hold'em, Pai Gow, Sic Bo, craps… a wide range for players of every interest."

"There certainly is a large variety," Yuzuki said. "I'll definitely be back again soon."

Satisfied for now, the pit master gave a small bow before turning away.

Lissa stretched her arms and said, "Yuzuki, let's go cash in our chips."

"Yes, let's go."

The two walked toward the exchange counter, Lissa's bodyguards trailing behind them while Emma and Ronda followed closely.

At the counter, a polite brunette woman greeted them with a warm smile.

"Good day. Would you like to exchange chips?"

"Yes please," Lissa answered, handing over her stack, ā‚©250 million Jenny in total.

"Please wait a moment while we count," the woman said, turning to the machine behind her. After a minute she returned with a bright smile. "It seems you had quite a night, ma'am. Would you like the transaction to be card or ca—"

She stopped mid-sentence as a voice came through her earpiece.

Her expression shifted slightly as she listened.

"Yes, sir," she replied quietly.

When she looked back at Lissa, her smile was polite but forced.

"That will be ā‚©250 million Jenny cash. Please wait while we prepare the notes."

"Cash?" Lissa blinked. "Can't I do a transaction instead?"

The woman bowed her head apologetically. "I'm sorry, ma'am. There seems to be a problem with transactions at the moment."

"Oh. That's rare…" Lissa murmured.

Behind her, Yuzuki smiled faintly. Pitmaster… what are you plotting?

"Please wait a moment, while we get your money" the women replied. As she left the counter.

Soon the woman returned and handed Lissa a big bag filled with bills.

"You may count the money to confirm if it is all there," she said.

"No need," Lissa waved her off. "I've gambled here for years. You'd never cheat me out of my money."

"Thank you for your trust," the woman said warmly. Then she turned to Yuzuki. "Is sir cashing in as well?"

"Please, sir is my father's name," Yuzuki said with a grin. "Just call me Yuzuki. And yes, I'm cashing in."

He placed his mountain of chips on the counter. The woman's eyes widened.

"This… this has to be in the billions." She leaned forward slightly and whispered with a giggle, "Do you want to take me out sometime?"

Yuzuki smirked. "I don't mind."

Blushing faintly, she gathered the chips and hurried to the counter. After several minutes, she returned with three full money bags.

"ā‚©2.5 billion Jenny in full," she announced proudly.

Yuzuki opened the bags, took a deep breath of the scent of fresh bills, and nodded with satisfaction.

"It's real."

He zipped them up and lifted the bags with both hands.

The counter lady cleared her throat softly, smiling at him.

"Would you like to take my number?"

Yuzuki handed her his phone without hesitation causing Emma and Ronda to shoot daggers at the woman with their eyes.

Lissa snickered. "You're quite popular with women, aren't you, Yuzuki?"

"I can't call myself popular," Yuzuki replied casually, "if I can't even bag you."

Lissa chuckled behind her hand.

The woman returned the phone to him. "My name is Sylphy."

"Sylphy," Yuzuki repeated. "Beautiful name."

He dialed her phone once so she would have his number.

"We have to go," he said. "I'll talk to you later."

"Later," she said with a wink.

Yuzuki turned away, the bags of money in hand, and a cold smile flickered across his face.

Well then, pitmaster… shall we dance?
