Inferiority drives a person to choose a path they believe is right, no matter the consequences. Yet everything that seems certain eventually reveals itself as false.
Roy furrowed his brows:
"The world nearly lost its balance because of her… if I hadn't intervened in time."
Kandra waved her radiant fan:
"Wherever she goes now, the land withers. What once pulsed with life has begun to die."
Leora, puzzled:
"Who is this exile? And why is her influence so terrifying?"
Roy gazed at her with a faint smile:
"It happened long ago. Everything is under control now."
Kandra:
"What are you planning? What's your next destination?"
Roy flicked his long cloak behind him:
"We're heading to the Center of Wisdom… above the right waterfall."
Leora, with a sarcastic expression:
"The Center of Wisdom? Above a waterfall? How?"
The White One:
"We'll take the elevator. A few minutes and we'll be there."
Roy:
"Your Majesty, I'll report back later. I need to look into this matter."
With a strike of her scepter upon the ground, the mirror in front of them twisted and expanded—transforming into a gateway to another dimension.
Leora's eyes widened:
"How did you do that? She looks fragile… but she's incredibly powerful."
Roy laughed:
"She saved us the trouble of traveling. Thank you, Your Majesty."
Kandra:
"Just return safely—don't be reckless as usual."
Roy waved:
"Farewell. I'll stop her this time… that's a promise."
The three stepped into the portal together.
Faint beams of light mingled with drifting shadows across their bodies… a gentle breeze brushed through Leora's hair and caressed her cheeks.
She opened her eyes slowly—only to find herself standing on water. Massive violet trees surrounded them, making them look like a mere speck in an endless cosmos. Darkness cloaked the entire realm, yet the shimmering stars kept it from collapsing into complete night.
A violet-skinned child swung on a glowing swing hanging from a giant branch. An ancient man sat in a chair nearby, reading calmly. The entire place brimmed with life.
This… was the Garden of Wisdom.
Roy shouted at the top of his lungs like a madman:
"Leora! We're in the Center of Wisdom—WOOOH!"
Leora, dazzled as always:
"I can't believe what I'm seeing… It's like a piece of paradise. But why are you screaming like a lunatic?"
The White One:
"The last time I came here was during my childhood… It hasn't changed at all."
Roy:
"We're heading to the library."
Leora raised a brow:
"A place this strange… has a library?"
The White One, walking slowly with heavy steps:
"This library holds the entire history of our world. We'll search for the lost map—if it still exists."
Roy:
"I'll uncover the first thread leading to that traitor."
