The second condition was simple enough. As the leader of the Chinese martial world, Luo Hao's collection of weapons was guaranteed to include plenty of treasured blades capable of weakening "forms."
The third was just as straightforward. Anyone who'd read the original story knew this already: the heroine Yuri Mariya's younger sister, Mariya Hikari, possessed a disaster-cleansing ability that could erase magical power and curses alike.
The real headache was the first condition.
A dragon-serpent's divine essence.
When Alex reminded her of it, Luo Hao immediately remembered as well. Her mood, which had been pretty good a moment ago, soured instantly.
"That damn monkey really is a disgrace," Luo Hao snapped. At this moment, her hatred for Susanoo, the one who had schemed to trap Sun Wukong in Sakura Land, was burning hotter than ever.
Unfortunately, Susanoo was hiding in the Netherworld. Finding him wasn't easy.
Otherwise, she would have chopped that old bastard down without hesitation.
"Sis, don't worry. I've got a way to find that guy Susanoo," Alex said suddenly.
Back when he'd devoured countless Godslayer fanfics, those generous authors had practically handed out solutions for free.
"Really?" Luo Hao's eyes lit up.
"Of course. Not only can I find Susanoo, I also know where to get a dragon-serpent's divine essence," Alex said with a grin, nodding.
"That's perfect," Luo Hao replied. A terrifying aura burst out from her as impatience flickered across her face.
Before long, under the arrangements of the Seven Sisters Alliance, Alex and Luo Hao boarded a private jet bound for Sakura Land.
Far away in the Far East, Sakura Land nearly lost its collective mind when it learned that two Godslayers were on their way.
The government, the Official History Compilation Committee, the Nine Law Mound Family, the Seishuuin Family, the Sayagami Family, the Renjo Family… everyone was thrown into a frenzy.
They were fairly familiar with Luo Hao. After all, she'd come to Sakura Land several times before, trying to free Sun Wukong and then kill him.
Every attempt had ended in failure.
But now she was coming again, and she'd brought her little brother with her, the seventh Godslayer. There was no question what their target was.
Two Godslayers at once. They were genuinely panicking, terrified that the curse binding the Great Sage Equal to Heaven would be forcibly destroyed.
If Sun Wukong were released and fought Luo Hao on Sakura Land's soil, it would be nothing short of a national catastrophe.
So they hurriedly reported the situation to Susanoo, who was hiding in the Netherworld.
Even Susanoo grew wary.
Two Godslayers showing up together. If this went wrong, the consequences would be disastrous.
At a little past three in the afternoon, the plane touched down at Tokyo Airport right on schedule.
The moment Luo Hao and Alex stepped off the plane, they both frowned.
Because the people sent to greet them numbered only two.
One man and one woman. Amakasu Touma and Sayagami Kaoru, just like in the original story.
The airport hadn't even been cleared of bystanders. They'd merely been cordoned off.
Luo Hao cared a great deal about face. What the Sakura Land government and magical community had done was basically slapping her in public.
When she'd come alone before, she hadn't bothered with these details.
But now Alex was with her. Treating them like this meant making her lose face right in front of him.
Almost instantly, a terrifying pressure exploded from Luo Hao.
Before Amakasu Touma and Sayagami Kaoru even understood what was happening, their bodies felt impossibly heavy. They collapsed to the ground, kneeling and sprawled out.
It was as if they'd been thrown into a gravity field. Every breath was agony.
Alex didn't bother pleading on their behalf. If you mess up, you pay the price.
Compared to the grand welcome the Seven Sisters Alliance had given Luo Hao, Sakura Land was practically begging for death.
They knew kings were coming. Two kings, no less. Even if they didn't roll out an extravagant ceremony, how could they get away with something this half-assed?
They hadn't even cleared the airport of civilians. If that wasn't courting death, what was?
This wasn't just an insult to Luo Hao. It was an insult to Alex as well.
Looking down at the two people pressed to the ground, Alex released an equally terrifying divinity.
He didn't use it to directly crush them. Instead, he spread his vast divine presence across the entire island nation.
In an instant, every mage in Sakura Land felt it.
They all started trembling in fear.
Without hesitation, the government, the Official History Compilation Committee, and the Four Great Families dispatched every senior official they had, rushing toward the airport.
In less than ten minutes, all civilians were cleared out. Sakura Land's Self-Defense Forces surrounded the entire airport.
Those high-ranking government officials and magical administrators, people who normally carried immense authority, crawled over like dogs and knelt before Luo Hao and Alex.
"See? Wouldn't it have been easier to do this from the start?" Alex clicked his tongue, his face full of disdain.
They finally understood. These two kings were unhappy with how shabby the welcome had been.
Cold sweat poured down their backs. No one dared say a word.
At that moment, Amakasu Touma spoke up. "We deeply apologize for our negligence toward the two kings. We are willing to offer compensation and beg for your forgiveness—"
"Did I give you permission to speak?" Alex's eyes flashed.
In the next instant, Amakasu Touma's body began to swell rapidly.
With a dull boom, he exploded into pieces.
Blood, shredded flesh, intestines, brain matter splattered over everyone nearby.
The horrifying scene made the rest of them shake even harder, their foreheads pressed flat against the ground.
Luo Hao was very pleased with Alex's actions. In her eyes, this was exactly how a true king should behave.
When a ruler is angered, corpses pile up by the millions and blood flows for thousands of miles.
In just a few short months, her little brother had gone from an ordinary person to a genuine monarch.
After leaving them to stew in fear for a while, Alex and Luo Hao finally withdrew their pressure and allowed them to stand.
Alex turned to Sayagami Kaoru. "Prepare accommodations for us. Also, gather every shrine maiden in Sakura Land. I need them for something tonight."
Sayagami Kaoru accepted the order, shaking all over. "Y-Yes!"
Soon after, Alex and Luo Hao were escorted to the most luxurious hotel in Tokyo.
All other guests had been evacuated. From that moment on, the entire hotel existed to serve the two kings alone.
They rested for a bit, soaked in the hot springs, and had dinner.
At nine-thirty that night, in a suburban area outside Tokyo.
Over a hundred shrine maidens had been assembled there, including the heroine Yuri Mariya and Seishuuin Ena.
Nearly ninety-nine percent of all shrine maidens in Sakura Land were present.
Seeing this scene, Yuri couldn't help recalling how, years ago, Sasha Dejanstahl Voban had gathered countless shrine maidens to perform a ritual to summon a god who refused submission.
The scene before her now was eerily similar.
Could it be—
At that moment, she seemed to realize something.
The shrine maidens who had survived that past incident remembered it too.
Panic spread among them.
Some tried to leave, only to be stopped by the soldiers stationed around the area.
Anyone who attempted to force their way out would be shot on the spot.
The tension lasted only a few minutes.
Then everyone saw two figures flying in from the distant sky.
It was Alex and Luo Hao.
Alex's flight was one of the abilities granted by the Authority "Lord of the Skies." Luo Hao was using a flight spell.
They descended from the air. Without wasting a single word, they ordered the people from the Official History Compilation Committee to inform the shrine maidens to begin the ritual.
Luo Hao also took out a holy relic and tossed it into the center of the ritual site.
The relic looked utterly ordinary. There wasn't the slightest ripple of cursed energy around it. It was nothing more than a rusty iron rod at first glance.
But Alex knew better. If Luo Hao had brought it out, it couldn't be fake.
Unable to suppress his curiosity, he asked, "Sis, what's that?"
Luo Hao smiled faintly. "Yuan Hong's weapon. Or what's left of it."
"Yuan Hong? The one from Investiture of the Gods?" Alex blurted out, startled.
"That's right. Since you're giving Sun Wukong to me, your big sister will compensate you with another monkey," Luo Hao teased with a laugh.
Alex's expression turned a little strange, and he didn't respond.
If they really managed to summon Yuan Hong, that would be an incredibly powerful god who refused submission.
At the very least, in terms of combat ability, he was no weaker than Erlang Shen or Sun Wukong.
In the original tale, Yang Jian had fought Yuan Hong for ages without gaining the upper hand. In the end, he had to borrow Nuwa's Map of Mountains and Rivers to capture him.
Later, Jiang Ziya used the Immortal-Slaying Flying Dagger taught by Lu Ya to finally behead him.
If Alex could kill Yuan Hong himself, he'd likely gain a combat-type Authority.
Just thinking about it made his heart race with anticipation.
More than a hundred shrine maidens sat down on the ground, forming an enormous spirit-descending ritual.
By now, Alex was well-versed in the magic and sorcery of multiple worlds. One glance was enough for him to grasp the core secret of the ritual.
It reminded him of the "Spirit Descent Ritual: Heroic Spirit Summoning" from the Type-Moon world. The two shared a surprising number of similarities.
If he combined the two concepts, could he summon a god on his own, without relying on so many shrine maidens?
As the thought surfaced, Alex began running calculations in his head.
Before he could finish, a crushing wave of divine pressure washed over him.
He looked up at the sky.
The once-clear night sky had turned pitch-black.
Crimson lightning tore through the darkness, ripping open jagged rifts across the heavens.
On the ground, some shrine maidens with weaker spiritual power began to suffer backlash, coughing up blood before collapsing unconscious.
Yet even after they passed out, the ritual continued to run, relentlessly draining the spiritual energy from their bodies.
