It was calm.
The desk in front of me was clean with all of those documents and,...I also watered the plants in my office that were given to me by my colleagues as a gift for my promotion.
I was sipping my coffee in a slow and steady rhythm. Unlike a day ago, the initial work for me and my department of the launch had been done and now...only the cooperation work was pending.
So it was peaceful inside my office and no one really came to talk to me about anything except for the morning greetings from my juniors.
Now this was the life I had envisioned when I heard about this promotion.
I took another sip from my coffee and let out a satisfied sigh.
Maybe I should have had something along with the coffee.
"Yeah, that would be nice."
With a quick and precise glance, I sweep through my office but I didn't find any snacks that I had brought during those overtimes.
