Not only Puroromon, but all of their Digimon were bathed on the same light. The device warmed up in Airi's hand.
"Puroromon evolution! Funbeemon!"
In place of Puroromon, a bigger bee had replaced it. Puroromon's previous injury had vanished, and the bee fly over their head faster than before.
Not only Puroromon, all of their Digimon had changed their previous appearance and became bigger.
"What just happened?" Airi heard Koushirou muttered incredulously.
"Now we can fight! Everyone, attaack!" a yellow dinosaur who was previously Koromon shouted.
"YES!" the Digimon agreed spirit renewed spirit.
"Baby Flame!"
"Petit Fire!"
"Magical Fire!"
"Petit Thunder!"
"Air Shot!"
Their attack hit Dokugumon, making it stumbled on its limb. It roared and tried to fire another blast at them.
"Stinger Poration!"
"Gear Stinger!" the bee who was previously Puroromon rapidly fired multiple stinger onto Dokugumon's neck, deflecting its attack again.
"Sharp claw!" the white seal who was previously Pukamon slashed its claw onto Dokugumon's eyes. Dokugumon roared angrily and stomped the earth, swatting away Digimon near it. They were swatted away, and the children were full of worries.
"Koromon!"
"Motimon!"
"Tch, it's nothing! I can still fight!" the yellow dinosaur said.
"Yes, me too!" the red beetle who was previously Motimon agreed with it. It flew around a while, like looking for something.
"It's dangerous to fight here near them. Everyone, make Dokugumon fall below that cliff!" the red beetle pointed to a cliff near where they stood.
"Poison Ivy!" a plant like Digimon who was previously Tanemon extended its vine-like fingers to entangle Dokugumon's limb, making it immobile.
"Come on, everyone! Attack Dokugumon together!" it shouted.
"Aim at the eyes!" the white seal added.
"Baby Flame!"
"Petit Fire!"
"Magical Fire!"
"Petit Thunder!"
"Air Shot!"
"Gear Stinger!"
Their joint attacks had caused a big explosion, causing Dokugumon to be pushed away and fell down the cliff. The explosion also annihilated most of the Kodokugumon with it. The remaining Kodokugumon surprisingly jumped off the cliff to get to Kodokugumon.
"They went away…" Joe trailed off.
"That means..."
"We win!"
"Yes! We win!"
"Amazing!"
The children had jumped on joy of winning, until there was a rumbling noise from beneath them.
"Eh? What happened?" Asked Mimi.
"Not good! The cliff is crumbling, we need to get away before we fell on that cliff like Dokugumon!" the plant like Digimon warned.
"Everyone, get here!" the red beetle directed. They evacuated to a clearing near a river not so far away.
"I think this far is safe already." The plant like Digimon said.
"En, there's no rumbling voice anymore." The white seal Digimon confirmed.
The children slumped down to the grass near the river.
"Phew, I'm knackered!" Sora sighed.
"That Dokugumon is so fast." Yamato complained as he leaned to a nearby tree.
"Of course. Dokugumon is an extremely fast Digimon. It is said that when it had locked on a prey, it will not stop its chase until the opponent is exhausted." The red beetle explained.
"Speaking of which, aren't you Motimon? But…" Koushirou hesitated. Motimon didn't look like its previous appearance of a pink slime like creature, instead now it's a red beetle who could fly.
"That's right, Koushirou-han. I'm not Motimon anymore. I'm evolved to Tentomon now!" it said cheerfully.
"Then, all of you also?" Taichi prompted.
"Yes, Taichi! Now I'm Agumon." The yellow dinosaur who was Koromon waved.
"Before I was Tsunomon. Now I am Gabumon." A digimon with blue fur pelt introduced shyly.
"Sora~ I am Piyomon!" a pink bird Digimon that was previously Pyocomon had clung to Sora again.
"Mimi, now I'm Palmon." A plant-like Digimon said.
"I'm Gomamon, previously Pukamon!" the white seal-like Digimon waved.
"Before I was Tokomon, now I'm Patamon!" an orange mammal-like Digimon waved its large ears to Takeru.
"I was Puroromon, evolved to Funbeemon." The bee-like Digimon said.
"Evolve?" the children wondered out loud. "Evolve?" the children wondered out loud.
"It's a phenomenon when a species changes to adapt better to their environment, is what I know about it." Koushirou supplied.
"That's right, Koushirou-han. A Digimon will evolve to become stronger." Tentomon agreed.
"Patamon, how can you evolve suddenly?" Takeru asked Patamon while tilting his head. Patamon mirrored him. "I don't know, Takeru."
"One thing I know is, I have been Tokomon for a long time, but I can't evolve further until just now."
"Yes, me too." Agumon chimed in.
"En, no matter what we do, we can't evolve." Gabumon agreed.
"Then what have triggered their simultaneous evolution just now?" Koushirou wondered.
"Is there any relation with this device?" Airi asked while holding out the white device that had appeared in her hand.
"Ah, yes, I almost forgot." Koushirou also hold out his device.
"It suddenly appeared on my hands just now when fighting."

"I feel it warmed up slightly when the Digimon evolved." Airi added.
"Ah, now that Airi had said that, I remember that too!"
"But what if it's a dangerous device? To suddenly appeared on our hands…" Joe mused. Yamato shook his head at him. "I don't think it's dangerous. I think, this device could make Digimon stronger." Airi nodded her agreement.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I think we need to move immediately." Tentomon cut in.

"Yes, I'm still tired!" Mimi whined while crouching on the grass.
"It's because we just fight Dokugumon. It means, this area is probably its lair. It's dangerous if we don't move away, as we can meet more Dokugumon." Tentomon explained.
"Eeek, so scary! Let's go then!" Mimi rose from her crouching instantly, and went to Airi. "Airi, are you okay to keep going?"
Airi nodded. "It's okay, Mimi. I've rested for a while. Let's go."
"Then, let's go further this way!" Agumon exclaimed.
