But still, it all rely on the fact that goblin sleep, a quick glance above the barrier show the merry goblins eating a sort of meaty soup from bowls, if they eat, they sleep.
Annie speak just after.
"I'm pretty sure they do, but we can check it out I guess?"
Yep, checking it out we will, it looks like midday, sounds like it's time to wait for a while, I get up while doing as less sounds as possible.
"Let's move back, we'll rest inside and check out if the sun will fall, and if those fuckers sleep"
After my words everyone get up, Jenna has long since put the refiller in her inventory, I wanted it...for safety.

Let's hope there are more around in the tutorial, we start moving out back in the corridor in a disorganized fashion as if all the risks have been taken care off, more like we all know where the danger is.
When we're in the dark, I speak out. "Oh also, what were the notifications you saw?"
Jenna answer first. "The Archer challenge thingy, and the party raid with 25 goblins after why?"
Some hums resonate, confirming Jenna words.

And then we keep going. In silence. The silence is perfect for me to wonder what the fuck was this binary shit.
Looked like the same error that happened after...after you know what.
Annie get rid of the silence first.
The small and tense silence after we walk for a good minute or so.
"Uh, where's the other path going?"
"The other...p" Jenna go to answer the question before she figure it out.
The other path.
We're in a T intersection after all, we all look at each other for a while before I sigh loudly, increasing my walking speed.
"let's check it out"
And check it out we do, when we reach the intersection, we can see our rest room on the left, but in front of us, the other path, it looks pretty much like the path toward the guard tower we just walked.
With a simple hand signal from me, we take the same formation as before, jenna and annie alternate while we walk forward, we keep walking for long, 5 good minutes, similar to the guard tower.
Again, the lighting fog slowly reduce in quantity until we're in the darkness. "Put your guards up"
I whisper and hear the sound of weapons shuffling.
"Jenna stay behind and warn us, Annie stop alternating"
I can hear, feel, small steps behind us that stop behind our backs, and then, we go forward
"let's go"
Without any sunlight showing us the way this time.
Walking in such darkness is quite annoying to be honest.
I don't count the number of time I almost stumbled because of nerves and the lack of view, never realized how much I rely on my view before, I really, really, really don't want to fight anything in the dark right now.
I listen.
No sounds but ours.
Doesn't seems like a fight will happen.
It feels way worse because at least, the other path, WE COULD SEE THE DAYLIGHT IN FRONT OF US!
We walked more than in the other path that's for sure, and the thing that make us stop walking is a small groan from my left.
"Found something"
Malfoy groan apparently, there is still no light, so I put my hand on barlow shoulder to make sure he's here.
"wait here" I tell him before I walk with one hand forward until I touch something.
"that is my hair"
That's his hair.
I let my hand drive down until I touch his shoulder "what did you found?"
The others are completly silent while we whisper, just getting closer to us, malfoy grab my wrist, and slowly guide my hand to the thing he found, it's on the ground apparenly, so we both kneel together until my hand grab something, something metallic, it feel like...a latch?
I tap malfoy wrist to show that I get it, and slowly I turn around and speak up.
"There's a latch"
Jenna answer first "wanna try opening it?"
I have no idea where her voice came from and it's tripping me out "I guess, yeah"
But how should we open it? If there is something dangerous just under, it would be better to let our stronger fighters hands free.
"Who's opening it?" Annie ask, and I kinda want her or jenna to do it but, pulling on the latch a bit, this shit heavy "Annie come here"
I hear some steps coming from in front of me I try to grab her hand and find it pretty quick, doing the same malfoy did with me, I put her hand on the latch.
"do you think you're strong enough to open it?"
I hear the sound of the wood trap groan a bit, but no movement.
"yeah, but I need to be standing, and can't guarantee how long I can leave it open."
Or no guarantee if you can close it gently.
If there is a sleeping dragon or some bullshit under we're dead I guess.
As I search for a solution, I hear the voice of badass grandpa "I'll open it"
I would say I look at him, but I can't really, and...that kinda make sense, he's strong, don't have any weapon apart from a shield, sounds like a perfect candidate to open the trap.
Not sharing my finding out loud. "Alright, come here" I try to grab his hand and after some struggling it's done, I put him on my spot "stay here"
And then I show him where the latch it, before I start crawling around while touching the trap trying to see where it end, how big it is, and any other information really.
After a bit of reconnaissance I go back to where I found malfoy and drag him to the 'left' of the trap, he doesn't resist my pulling.
"stay here, take your sword out and be ready"
I hear a small grunt of validation before I go back to grandpa badass.
"when I say go, open the trap slowly, try to be as silent as possible"
I go to the right of the trap and ready my spear out, like malfoy is doing on the opposite side with his sword.
"girls, stay behind Barlow and attack if you feel the need, stay silent"
After giving the directive, I take a deep breath and speak out "go"
The wood in front of me groan a little bit, not enjoying the movement, the sounds is loud in the total lack of it, but it's not that loud.
As the trap slowly lift up I can finnally see it's rotten texture as gentle light come from under.
The second thing I see is some kind of ladder that is rolled on itself on the side of the ceiling beside the trap entrance.
Probably how you get down, when it's opened midway I can finally see my little band.
Barlow has both hands on the latch, deadlifting the wood as malfoy on his left has both hands lifting his sword up.
I know this move.
He did it while we sparred.
he's ready to thrust.
Just behind balrow, Annie is looking at his side in the opening, his right side, Jenna do the same on his left but sometimes look behind scared of an ambush.
The first sign that something is wrong come from annie as her eyes pop out of her skull. She slowly turn her head toward me and don't whisper.
The lighting coming from below light how she just mouth and do signs instead.
Even shake her head, and wave her arms in a negative manner.
Her reaction make me want to look in too, just after I see malfoy grip tighten, they are the only two that see what's inside.
And I'm the third.
In the room below us rest a giant, a greek hulking giant.
This giant arms are big enough to drag on the ground beside the bed it's resting in.
Actually all of their limbs apart from it's head are dragging out of the bed.
The blanket they wear above their waist can barely cover it, the muscles composing said giant limbs looks like they are bulging out of his skin, veins spreading on them like a spiderweb.
The bed under his immense weight has already been crushed, the feet broken and smushed under wooden frame. A deep, regular, and litterally air shuddering growling make it's appearence as the room below is opened.
