Ancient Dragon, this was a new term that i had never heard, i may have heard about in games or comics i read, but i doubt that this was of any relevance to what she was talking about .
Seeing my confusion, she shook her head and sighed as if she was fed up with my ignorance, she then began to explain what that new term meant .
Those Saviors labeled under that category were no more than 1 person and that person was none other than Haimura Moroha .
That took me by quite the surprise, that purple haired guy seemed to be impressive, my new reawakened instincts was concurring on that, but him being labeled as Ancient Dragon just for having two past lives was something a bit incomprehensible in my opinion, what was the reason behind such naming and what did that even entailed, there were all sorts of questions that circled in my mind and i asked Shizuno about .
She said :
Ancient Dragon was nothing but a concept that the White Knight Order initially thought of after their initial discovery of Saviors who wields Light and Dark Arts from their previous lives, it was theorized that there might be a savior who has two individual past memories instead of just one .
It was later elaborated that regular saviors have an indomitable soul able to resist eons of grinding from the sands of time until reincarnating into the world again, but Ancient Dragon soul was something completely different .
The Ancient Dragon, on the other hand, had a powerful soul able to handle two reincarnations into their third one, which requires an indestructible will able to withstand one hundred million years without dissipating from the endless grinding from the sand of time .
For such a powerful soul to exist, it would mean that human container would be considered the Heavenly Emperor who has ruled over all fantasies and a monster known as a "Dragon", she herself didn't believe that something like this actually existed at least not until the principal mentioned it to her in a a bit slip of a tongue .
Meaning that this was left as nothing but an unfounded theory until the enrollment of Moroha Haimura in Akane Academy, she said that at first she was curious about who was that man but she didn't care that much about getting close to him, thinking that it had nothing to do with her, but since that day when she saw his face in his enrollment application documents, she kept having frequent flashbacks of who she used to be and of him Shu Saura .
" Shu Saura, i heard you mention that name before and Haimura too seemed to be quite aware of it, was that one of his names in that past life you had with him .
She just nodded her head, but again said nothing more, her steps even began to quicken suddenly as if she was running away from this conversation, i looked at her like that and without hesitation followed after her still curious about what other things she wasn't tell me .
I was curious about how strong was an Ancient Dragon compared to the other Saviors, from Renjuu Satsuki's words i can conclude that he was a Shirogane, the knight Of The Holy Sword concurred to that .
But was he also a Kuroma too like Shizuno or was he a Shirogane on both of the two past lives of his, i wonder also about what kind of relationship did she have with him, from how everything looked yesterday, it seemed that they were quite intimate and affectionate with one another, so i couldn't help but wanting to know what was that about too .
I caught up to her and just as i was going to ask her more about it, a strong hand was suddenly put on my shoulders and that hand carried a lot of strength in it as well, enough to fix me in place, i turned my head and saw that it was the captain of the Strikers Isuragi Jin, i was suddenly reminded of what his little brother did this morning and my killing intent Instinctively released .
Him sensing my killing intent removed the hand that was on me and got into a fighting stance, sensing what i just did seemed to be quite illogical, my killing intent dissipated as quickly as it appeared, he looked at me bewildered, wanting to get an explanation for the rude gesture just now .
I wanted for Shizuno to explain what happened, but the moment i turned to look for her, i saw that there was not even a trace of her shadow left there, she reminded me of how fast Momochi-senpai was moving yesterday, but she was a Kuroma, so that seemed to be quite silly .
Ahem, care to elaborate on your reason for doing what you just did ? .
The stern voice of the captain sounded behind me forcing me to turn around and face him once again, i first asked him about if he knew about the personality of his little brother, he frowned at me and looked as if he already was beginning to get the gist of what was going on here, he then asked :
What did this stupid guy do this time ? .
I then began to tell him what i had heard from Shizuno and as i finished telling him of what happened, i saw that he was cupping his hand into a fist and he directly slammed it into the wall beside us, he didn't used Prana, just pure physical strength, so no much damage happened to the wall under his precise control of his strength .
This was the biggest difference between the two brothers, the older one was quite a calm collected kind of person who even in his anger, he seemed to be conscious of what he should do and what he shouldn't, a logical kind of person with a huge amount of self-control and a just personality .
Completely the opposite of him was the character of his little brother, arrogant and selfish, not to mention moody and quite rude, that was my impression of him and i hadn't even encountered him more than two times, but i can tell from the expression on his brother face that he was quite the troublemaker .
That arrogant and conceited kid bullying others using the advantage i helped in giving him, he really should start praying that he doesn't end up meeting me or else i will really give him a good piece of my mind .
" Well, another classmate of ours volunteered to teach him some manners for you, but i wonder what kind of advantage are we talking about here .
I was intrigued to find what kind of help did he gave that little brother of his, so i couldn't help but voice out my thoughts and ask him about it, he looked to be a bit dejected as he said :
I guided him for two years prior to him joining the school, believing that he would be able to fix those bad habits of his and become a good Savior, i even guided that bum towards opening his 7 gates, in hope of him becoming a better person and more dependable allie .
I'm really ashamed of myself for hoping that he will use the advantage i gave him to help others than himself, i guess i was hoping for too much here, but i at least never have i intended to make him a bully, who feared those stronger than him and bullied those weaker than him .
Me helping him turned out to be completely insufficient to rehabilitate him, it even have ended in making everything worse, instead of him becoming a good Savior, he became a person unworthy of being called as such .
What is worse was the fact that i may had a hand in things turning out like this, was i really having a bad influence as an older brother on him .
I looked at him and saw that his mood and self-esteem seemed to be hurt by me bringing this up, i guess after telling me yesterday to be an order brother and this happening today, he couldn't help but blame himself for his younger brother actions, i guess, but i seeing him like this felt a bit ashamed due to how i greeted him just now .
So trying to make it up for him, i decided to try and comfort him a bit, so i said :
" I don't know what led your brother to become like this Captain, but i can tell that whatever it was, it most likely wasn't related to you by far or close, you said that you were teaching that guy in hope of him becoming a better person, so him ending up like this and completely disregard of your good intentions for him, in my mind was the most ungrateful thing a person can do .
" I'm sorry to tell you this in your face like that, but your brother might be really a hopeless case, just as you said, he seemed to be quite unfitting to be a Savior .
" But it isn't like there was no chance for him, but i'm once again sorry for telling this to your face directly like that, but even if your brother was able to by any chance win tomorrow, i will teach him to be more mannered myself, either he change his ways or i will force him to .
I was intent on comforting him, but my last words seemed to be more challenging than comforting, i looked at him and saw that he was looking at me impassively for a few seconds, before exhaling a long breath of air and saying with a bit of exasperation :
It pains me to see that you guys trying to fix the problem which i created, but i hope he really lose tomorrow, to at least get taught a little bit of humility, i don't know why my easy-going approach failed with him, i will give you the go ahead signal, hoping that you really might be able to fix him, i'm beginning to see things from another point of view thanks to your words just now .
I was a bit glad that he at least didn't seem to be angry at my words, if anything he really seemed to have benefited from my words, in a way that i wasn't able to comprehend, i was about to ask him about where he was going, but he beat me to talking and continued to say :
Oh, right who was that classmates of yours that volunteered to give my idiot little brother a run for his money, was he a Kuroma or a Shirogane, if he is a Shirogane then how many Prana Gates did he open .
He rained me with questions that i have no idea about how to answer most of them, the only answer i was able to give was the question about his name, i was about conflicated about whether to tell the captain about the Ancient Dragon thing, but decided against it as i myself wasn't sure of talking about such topics, Shizuno expressionless face gave me a clear idea that she too didn't speak much about it .
So i just told him that i only know of his name and gave it to him, he asked me who do i think will win in tomorrow fight, i told him that i believe that Moroha will win, he said how can i tell i told him that i don't even know whether was he a Shirogane or Kuroma, much less watch him fighting to be able to tell .
I said it was a hunch, my hunch was telling me that he will beat his brother tomorrow, he looked at me and said that if that Moroha i mentioned was a Shirogane and even opened all of his 7 Prana Gates, if he doesn't know how to make use of Light Arts, then the probability of his brother losing might not be high .
At the mention of this point i couldn't help but blurt out" You taught him how to make use of Light Arts didn't you " .
He replied by nodding gravely with a bit ashen face, but he then continued to say that he only taught him basic light arts, he was only able to learn 3 of the basic Light Arts due to his savory being not very bright, but those were enough to grant him a huge advantage in combat, he also told me that if my classmates didn't even know how to use light arts or dark arts skillfully, he can't think of a way that he could triumph over his little brother, i can tell that he wasn't biased, he was just stating facts .
I couldn't help but wonder what were the Captain's thoughts about the outcome if i was the challenger, he looked at me and shook his head, i was surprised by his reaction, but he then began to explain why he reacted this way, saying :
I still don't know the full extent of the power of that spell of yours, your movements yesterday were quite skilful, your swordsmanship was quite good too, but i would still say that it will be quite difficult to determine who would win between you two .

Well, i believe you already sensed the difference every time you clashed with Momochi yesterday, am i right ? .
I was first wondering about why he recalled back that fight, if not for my recklessness i would have won, i had the complete advantage in speed, wait was that it .
I believe you had already realized what i was talking about, you as a Kuroma still have the same weakness as the other Kuromas, the physical aspect, you are all vulnerable to physical damage .
I can't make up my mind about who might be able to win in the fight due to talking that aspect in consideration, your current fighting style is completely different from how the Kuroma fight, you are inclined more towards close combat, meaning that unless your opponents were Kuromas or weak Shiroganes who only opened two or three Prana Gates the chance of you winning will become slim .
I can understand his way of thinking and i completely agree with it, even though yesterday i could be say to have held the advantage in many occasions, but due to being a Kuroma, every time i clashed with Momochi-senpai, i was the one at the losing end, due to the existence of Prana .
But it isn't like you were at a complete disadvantage, even if you aren't able to win in a frontal confront, the enemy or your opponent might not be able to hit you due to how fast you are moving, but you struggling against Momochi, even though she was a speed type savior, gave me a bit insight to concur that it will be difficult to decide who might one .
I couldn't help but have some resentment towards the hidden meaning behind his words, even if i wasn't able to win i can still run that what i interpreted from his words, something inside me was frowning on that thought .
That sword of yours seemed to be quite sharp, but the defences of high ranked Shirogane will always be better, not to mention that they are able to enhance their defences even more using Light Arts, unlike Momochi who was a speed type, some are more inclined to increasing their bodies defences, enough that their skin under the blessing of Prana and the use of light arts can become able to withstand your attack with quite ease .
Some might be able to use that to their advantage to make you fell into a trap, your most troublesome opponent i believe to be none other than Tank type Savior .
