Appearing at the battlefield again, which has now grown quiet because of the couple of seconds Nil was fighting the undead shadow.
Nil did not appear amidst the undeads.
No, that would be counterproductive to the skill he is about to activate.
He appeared at one end of the battlefield and he watch as the undeads swarm him again, rushing from three sides.
From his front, from his left and from his right.
After they reach a couple of meter before him, Nil then do the deed.
Clutching his sword close to his chest, he set his position more firmly, standing steadily.
Then he slash.
Not just any slash, but a slash imbued with the intent of wrath itself.
[Ding!]
[Title Personification of wrath is being used.]
[Ding!]
[You have awaken a sword intent.]
[Due to your exceptional feat of imbuing wrath into your intent, your sword intent have been elevated from that of normal intent and have become a named intent.]
The system displaying the words paused for a moment like it is contemplating something, then it finally display the test of the message.
[Intent name: The intent of wrath.]
[Ding!]
[You have learn a new skill.]
[Skill Name: Wrathful intent slash.]
[Skill grade: Constellation.]
[Skill description: With intent woven into a sword slash, everything in it's path fall.. dead.]
[Skill cost: Intent of wrath+Sword intent.]
A crimson wave of aura imbued with the intent of wrath itself turning the pristine white slash into Wrathful red could be seen heading in the direction of the undeads.
Lo and behold, according to the description of the skill, every undead beast, every undead human at the path of the slash fell dead.
The slash did not just move in a crimson wave.
No, if it move just in a crimson wave it will hardly kill any undead.
The crimson wave change their shape, they bend, they curve attacking solely the core of the undeads.
Nil achieve that effect by imbuing his will into that attack which enable him to be able to direct the flow of the wave.
And then the message flood him.
[Ding!]
[You have kill an undead beast at the 6th stage of Liquid gathering realm.]
[Ding!]
[You have kill a beast at the 3rd stage of Liquid gathering realm.]
[Ding!]
[You have kill a beast at the 9th stage of Liquid gathering realm.]
[Ding!]
[You have kill a beast at the 1st stage of Liquid Crystallization realm.]
[Ding!]
[You have kill a beast at the 4th stage of Liquid gathering realm.]
If Genesis have been like some MMORPG where one gets experience points which can be used to level up by killing beast.
Nil dare thought he would have surpass level 100 by now.
Because the beast that the crimson wave have just killed right now are numbered in the hundreds.
Moreover, each of the beast level are very very high from his own, so he would have gained a massive amount of experience.
But contrary to those MMORPG's, Genesis was made in such a way that it will resemble reality as closely as possible.
And in reality you don't get experience points and level up by killing beast or other lifeforms, you level up by absorbing mana or absorbing mana from the core of the beasts you killed.
"What a beautiful sight." Nil said as the body of the beasts start dropping one by one.
But that is not the end of it.
The grave became silent for a split second.
Even the beasts that survive the crimson wave became silent, the ones at the far back that the crimson wave could not reach them before it was extinguished, losing its steam and fading away.
The beast went silent for a split second not daring to make a movement as their instinct warn them.
Danger close by, very close.
Their instinct whispered, yet they couldn't find any danger until it suddenly kick in.
They all fled the battlefield, running to the extreme back of the battlefield, where there is no dead bodies.
However at that time it was too late.
*Booooooommmm*
All the beast that was struck by the crimson wave core explode at the same time, plunging the whole battlefield into death area.
And in the wake of the explosion, all the rest of the undeads that was still alive was swallowed by the explosion, leaving none behind.
Nil himself would have been swallowed by that explosion if not that he have swiftly retreate into the embrace of shadow.
What cause that explosion was actually partly the crimson wave Nil have use to kill the beasts.
When the crimson wave struck the core of the undeads it did not just dislodge the core from where they are or just touch them.
No, it have splitted the core into two.
And as the core of undead beings are not stable in the first place, just a cusp away from imploding on themselves.
When Nil split all those cores, one could easily guess what would follow.
What follow is the explosion that rock the whole of the grave, turning it into a proper grave.
What is a grave if they are entity moving around?
That is why the grave could now be called a grave more than ever.
Because the place is now wrought in stillness, no living being or undead being moving around.
Not anymore.
And Nil?
The cause of all the chaos.
Well, he is currently in the shadow realm having a nice conversation with the undead shadow.
He could not go back to the surface area because of the searing heat.
He doubt that his flesh could endure more than a couple of seconds in that area before becoming toast.
Or a barbeque if you would prefer.
[Ding!]
[You have receive a title due to the chaos you wrought both in the sand cat dungeon and in the grave.]
[Title name: Envoy of chaos.]
[Title effect: Your overall power increase in proportion to how much chaos you wrought in an area.]
"About time." Nil smiled.
