Sally's POV
After we finish getting dressed and make our way back downstairs, I discover Sean perched at the kitchen island, cradling a beer bottle in his hands. His eyes find us the moment we enter the kitchen, and a subtle, all-knowing smile spreads across his face.
"How long have you been sitting there?" I question him.
"Long enough," Sean and Ajax respond at the exact same moment.
I roll my eyes at their bizarre twin synchronization, whatever mysterious connection allows them to operate like they share the same brain. It's unsettling sometimes. Part of me envies that my mates possess this twin bond. While I adore my sister completely, I wish we shared that same instinctive connection.
"Is everything going well with Juliette?" I ask Sean, settling into the seat next to him.
