Sally's POV
Something fierce awakens in my chest. Not the familiar flutter of nerves or the weight of self-doubt. This feels different. Stronger. Like purpose taking root.
"I want to be there," I announce.
Four pairs of eyes snap to me instantly.
Karl's expression tightens with concern. "Sally..."
"I mean it," I say, moving closer to the group. "I want to be part of this meeting."
Philip releases a sharp breath. "Babe, this isn't some casual chat. We're talking about Alphas from the old bloodlines. They don't mess around with human customs or modern thinking. Hell, most of them won't even let their own Lunas speak during council meetings unless they're serving refreshments."
"Then maybe it's time they met one who has her own voice," I fire back.
