"Hmph hmph hmph... Hmph hahahaha!" After a short pause, the Herrscher of Thunder stood up again and raised her hands as she looked at Kiana lying on the ground.
"I am the third, Herrschers of Thunder, not the remnant or part of you VOID!"
The Thunder suddenly looked up at the Hyperion in the sky and raised her hand to strike it down with lightning.
The operators on the Hyperion had solemn expressions, cold sweat dripping from their foreheads. Their fingers moved as fast as they could to blocked the Thunder's attack.
"We won't be able to block the next attack!" someone shouted. Looking at the still unconscious Himeko, the Adjutant bit her lip and waved her hand, ordering: "Prioritize retreat! Send a report to headquarters!"
"It's—it's too late! The next attack is coming." another person cried out, their voice filled with fear. The Adjutant looked at the screen. Sure enough, seeing that her first strike missed, the Herrscher of Thunder attacked again with lethal intent.
'It's over...' This was the collective thought of everyone on the Hyperion. For the first time, they witnessed the terror of a Herrscher, something a single battleship could never hope to withstand.
The lightning grew brighter and brighter in their eyes.
Some gradually calmed as they closed their eyes; while other screaming and crying, you can't blame them to do that knowing they gonna die soon.
After waiting for thirty seconds, the Hyperion still hadn't fallen. Some people couldn't help but thinking they already dead.
"Are... are we in after life already?"
"To the hell with heaven! Open your eyes! We're fine!" A voice filled with pleasant surprise rang out.
The Adjutant also opened her eyes and saw a purple-black ring blocking the Herrscher of Thunder's attack.
Seeing the ring appear, the Herrscher of Thunder's body stiffened bit by bit. A suffocating feeling, like a python coiling around her, slowly spread. She didn't dare turn around because she felt that piercing gaze.
"Long time no see, do you miss me~" a playful voice came from behind her. Before she could think of anything else, Thunder instantly bolted away.
But no matter how far or fast she fled, that hand remained on her shoulder, impossible to shake off.
"Running away? You make sad, you know?" Verna stood still. The hand on the Herrscher of Thunder's shoulder was simply reaching through a portal she had opened.
"You! How can you still fine?!" The Herrscher of Thunder finally stopped and turned to look at the Void. She had clearly beaten her down!
"Is defeating my little sister something to be so proud of?" With one step, her form blurred, and in the blink of an eye, she appeared before the Herrscher of Thunder, clutching her throat. Her golden eyes were full of mockery.
"Come, let's dance, Thunder... let me see if your steps are still as ugly as ever!" Using the strength of her waist, Verna gripped the Herrscher of Thunder's neck and slammed her into the ground, creating a massive crater.
"You really like talking like Chunibyo did you?"
Verna stepped on the Herrscher of Thunder, pinning her down.
"Weren't you so proud just now? Heh, it seems I didn't teach you... How to respect your senior last time!"
Kicking the Herrscher of Thunder away, Verna raised her hand and gestured downward. Spears of the Void emerged and merged together, growing larger and larger.
"Spear of Condemnation, let's call it that." The black-and-white Spear of the Void crashed toward the Herrscher of Thunder like a nail being driven into the earth, completely destroying the surrounding environment.
"Stay hidden behind me." Glancing at Bronya, whom she had just pulled to her side, Verna walked toward the Herrscher of Thunder step by step.
Her footsteps were exceptionally clear in the silent city, carrying an oppressive weight.
"You can't even take a step to dance anymore?"
Lightning suddenly flashed through the smoke. A blade wreathed in electricity slashed at Verna's neck, but it passed through like air, completely ineffective.
"It seems you're not completely useless." Verna grabbed the Thunder's wrist and drove her knee into her abdomen.
Once, twice, thrice... The blade in Thunder's hand fell to the ground, and she herself was tossed aside like trash.
"Sigh, did you really think of yourself as a God?"
Verna simply lose interest. She snapped her fingers, and as space warped, both she and the Herrscher of Thunder were teleported to the moon.
"Hmm, it's been a while since i was on the moon." When Verna feels nostalgic about the moon, the Herrscher of Thunder gritted her teeth and crawled back up.
"Void!!!" The Herrscher of Thunder propped herself up, clutching a handful of moon dust, and let out a roar of frustration.
"Heh... no need to shout so loud, I can hear you."
How they talk in vacum you may ask?, let's just say Herrscher unconsciously release a waves when they speak, that's why their voices seem like came directly to your soul.
(T/N: Yeah i make this up, because the author just said it because they Herrscher and done with it.)
"Now, choose. Hand the Gem of Conquest back to me, or die here." The Void questioned her.
"I will forge my own future!" The Thunder condensed her blade again and slashed at Verna.
"Oh? Your strength has increased, but unfortunately... it's still useless." Raising her hand, an Imaginary Barrier unfolded.
Feeling the force hitting the barrier, Verna raised an eyebrow. The next second, she slowly pushed her arm outward, forcing the Herrscher of Thunder's blade down bit by bit.
Once the height was right, she stepped on the blade and used her other foot to kick the Herrscher of Thunder's chin, performing a backflip on the spot.
"Why... why, why?! We're both Herrschers! I'm the third, so you stronger?!" The Herrscher of Thunder was knocked back. Already drained after fighting continuously without a rest, she now had no energy left and pounded the moon surface in a rage.
"Why... Perhaps i'm the favorite daughter of Honkai?, after all they gave me 5 Gems." Verna chuckled and raised her hand, a Spear of the Void falling into it.
"We don't even dance like i want. So it's time to end this."
The Thunder looked at the Verna, fear welling up in her heart. She could tell Void was serious—she really would kill her!
"You've got to be kidding me!!!" The Herrscher of Thunder was unwilling to give in. She wouldn't die here. The purple lightning turned into crimson lightning, and a massive longsword appeared in her hand. Even though her strength might be insufficient because Mei refused to accept her...
But even so, she had her own pride! She still a Queen of Thunder!
"Void!!!"
With fury, the Herrscher of Thunder swung a strike with everything she had, even things she know from a human.
"Good. This is what I wanted to see." A longbow made of Honkai Crystals appeared before Verna. Using a Spear of the Void as an arrow and imbuing it with Honkai Energy, she pulled back the string and let go.
The collision of their attacks swept across this part of the moon, completely altering the terrain. Dust swirled, making it impossible to see the scene inside...
