__Scene Change - Yuno's side__
"Hmph... That just about does it." Sandlers said as the last of the zombies in their area was mangled beyond recognition by his sand magic.
'I need to stronger so things like this don't give Ray a trouble... He single-handedly wiped out the zombies in the capital! I've got to get stronger so that I can help him and stand by his side in the future!!!'
'(Phew~!) Th... that was really gross!' - Mimosa
__Scene Change - Klaus's side__
"What were those things anyway?" Klaus muttered as he pushed his glasses up, watching Shiren kill the last one.
"No match for us, at any rate. (Oh ho ho ho!)" - Hamon
"..." - Shiren.
__Scene Change - Blue Rose's Side__
"I Can't believe you tried to attack my sis, you morons! Only Women of Blue Rose are allowed to touch her!" Sol yelled, kicking the cut-up and bruised bodies of the zombies, strewn about.
"Sol, don't say things People will misinterpret." - Charolette
__Scene Change - Silva Siblings's Side__
"Wa ha ha ha ha! What? Done already? You worthless twerps? HA HA HA!" - Solid
"Heh heh. That wasn't nearly fun enough." Nebra muttered as she crushed the skull of another zombie under foot.
"..." Nozel stayed silent, observing the situation. something felt... off.
Suddenly, everywhere, a voice echoed, reverberating off walls and the ground, coming from all directions.
"It looks as though they've all... entered the marked areas."
*WHOOOOOSH!!!!*
At all the four locations, massive shadows emerged, engulfing the four magic knight teams.
"What...!?"
"!!"
"Sis!! Be careful!"
"This is..."
"Oh n-"
*Whooosh!*
*Vooooom!!!*
Spatial Magic: Blackout!
The voice returned.
"Well done... Magic Knights."
*Fwip! Fwip! Fwip! Fwip!*
All four teams vanished along with the shadow.
"Wha... what just happened?!"
"The magic knights... disappeared?"
The citizens suddenly fell into disarray due to the sudden disappearance of the magic knights.
__Far Away__
The sky darkened, forming a massive shadow, suspended in the air. From it the magic knights fell out, after being transported outside the capital.
"Where are we?!" Hamon muttered, quickly taking a combat stance. However, all around them was rolling plains. No human in sight.
"..." Shiren quickly spread his mana out, analysing their situation. "We seem to be several hundred kilometres away from the capital, at the very least."
"Waaaah!! They got us! What do we do sis?!"
"I knew the enemy had a skilled spatial magic user... But i never dreamed they'd me this good! Tch."
"..." Sandlers took one look at the situation and realized that they had walked right into the enemy's trap. "*Curses*!!!"
__Wizard King's Palace - Banquet Hall__
The hall was deserted. Uneaten food lay forgotten on the tables. The massive and once elegant windows were reduced to nothing but debris when the magic knights had rushed out in full force just a little while ago
However, it wasn't as empty as it appeared.
Sure enough, from under one of the tables, a small girl crawled out, a plate of sweets in one hand and the other cradling a scoop of ice cream.
*OM NOM NOM*
"Huh? Where'd everyone go?" Charmy muttered as she inhaled the ice cream and moved on to devour the sweets. "Oh well. It's a waste let all this Yummy food lie like this! I'll just finish it all!!! Yummy!!!" She said cheerfully as he moved towards the serving table, already eyeing a plate of cake.
Just then, a faint whiff caught her attention. The scent coming from this whiff was so strong... that it yanked Charmy off her feet and made her float in the air as she followed it's trail.
'Whoaaa!!! It smells so yummy!!!'
*FWOOSH! FWOOSH!*
*WHROOSH!!!*
She turned a corner and bumped into a half open door. Inside was the kitchen. However, it was completely deserted, save for a few who were gathered around the stove, pestering a man wearing the chef's hat.
The man was mixing spices into a pot he was currently cooking in While looking at ease. The delicious smell of Lasagna made Charmy's mouth water.
The people around the chef, however weren't the least bit at ease.
"Head Chef! What are you doing!"
"Let's hurry and evacuate!"
"That's right Head chef! Rest of the staff has also fled! Please don't continue this pointless cooking! It's not more important than your life!!"
"Shut it you fools!! As if a Chef could abandon his cooking right in the middle and run!!" The Head Chef bellowed, startling the others. "Deliver the ultimate dish under ANY circumstances!! That's what the best do!!"
"Y-yes sir... But the knights are all gone! Nobody's here now!!"
"WHAAAAAT?! Leaving without eating my main course?! What do they think they're doing?!"
"W-well it's a national emergency sir!!"
"I'm telling you sir! We need to ru-"
*BANG!*
The man was cut off by a loud bang of the kitchen door being kicked open.
"That main course or whatever it is!" Charmy yelled falling to her knees dramatically, while she drooled, staring at the pot hungrily. "Let me eat it, Pleeeeeease!!!"
"Wha...? Who's the shrimp?" The head chef muttered. "...!"
'That black robe she's wearing... It's the black bulls robe! She's a magic knight! She must be one of the big shots who got invited to the decoration ceremony...' He thought as a slow smile broke out on his face. 'Not just that... Those glaring eye's of hers are practically on fire!!!'
The slow smile suddenly broke out into a deranged one. "ALL RIGHT LADY! YOU GOT IT!" he yelled, as he turned around and brought a second pot, slamming it down and throwing in spices at high speeds. " Just you wait!! I'll make you the best main course you've ever seen!!"
"Yessssss!!!!"
"NO! Really! Let's get out of here chef! 😭"
__Scene Change - Royal Capital: Unnamed Street Corner__
"All those amazing magic knights fell for a trap like that one? How amazingly stupid!"
A voice rang out through the street. All the civilians, who had just been confused about the sudden vanishing of the magic knights, suddenly looked up.
There, up in the sky, a woman was sitting on her broom, lazily staring at the crowd beneath.
She had long, curly, blonde hair. She had magenta eyes and thick dark eyelashes and wore a dark red-violet lipstick on her lips. A golden necklace with a magenta star-like pendant, which was connected to another chain with a similar piece at the end, adorned her neck. Additionally, she also wore a black hat with a furry brim and a long conical crown. There were two fuzzy pale lilac balls on the left side of the brim as well.
The woman wore a black dress with furry skirt. It also features a fur trimmed collar. The sleeves were sightly wider on the upper arm with three diamond-shaped designs stacked linearly on each of them. Similar designs, but in horizontal orientation, were also located on her waist. Furthermore, a pair of fuzzy pale lilac balls, similar to those on her hat but much larger, were also placed behind her.
"I was planning to play with the ones who escaped... But I guess it was pointless... *sigh*" Catherine says, taking on an extremely apologetic look on her face as she dramatically held her head in her hands.
"Wha...? Who's that?!" A young man muttered.
"Now, then... While I've got the chance..." She licked her lips as she narrowed her eyes to slits. "...Why don't i help myself to some nice young mana? *Slurp~*"
*WHROOSH!!*
Suddenly, the man who had just spoken felt his mana draining rapidly. His skin clung to his bones and he felt his blood dry up within him.
"AHH!!!!"
The man fell to the ground, dead.
The crowd fell silent. Then, just as fast as it had fallen quiet, it erupted. Women screamed, Children wailed, as the masses tried to run.
"HA HA HA HA HA!!!" Catherine cackled as she started draining the mana indiscriminately from multiple people. "Quit pretending you're cute!! You sows!!" She yelled as she viciously sucked the mana out of a few women.
"AAAAGH!! ELIZA!!!" A man yelled as he clutched his beloved, who was now nothing but a dried husk.
"My! You're kinda handsome, aren't you~!" Catherine said as she spotted him and approached the man, grabbing his chin. "Say, Am i pretty? How old do i look?? Come on, Tell me~!"
However,
"YOU MONSTER!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"
"WHO'S A MONSTER?!" She yelled, her face darkening as she raised her hand, going for the kill. "DIE!!!"
However,
Wing Magic: Tornado!
*WHOOSH!!!*
A tornado appeared, separating the two.
"My. my. my~" Catherine said, smirking mischievously as she eyed a certain figure in the distance. "So, someone did escape that spatial magic!"
Yuno said nothing. He simply flipped his grimoire open.
"Oh my! Talk about gorgeous~! You're just my type~!" Catherine squealed. "Say, listen! Wanna do something fun with me?"
"Get away from those people... Old lady."
*Snap!*
Something broke within Catherine. Her eyes reddened and she screamed. "You're dead!!!"
She spread her hands as numerous sickly-purple coloured orbs formed behind her, her grimoire opening Infront of her almost simultaneously.
"WHO are you calling an old lady, you brat!!!"
*Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh!!!*
With a single wave of her hand, the orbs shot forward, attacking Yuno from all sides.
However, Yuno enveloped himself in a layer of Wind, keeping most of them at bay.
As he dodged, Catherine laughed away, not even bothered about his winds.
"Those are curse bullets with all sorts of curses inside!!" She cackled. "You won't know what you're going to get, until they hit you~!"
"What are you people? Why did you attack!?"
"My, you think you can fight and talk?" she chuckled. "Sure. You're quite handsome, so I'll tell you~" She smirked. "We're here to eliminate a certain someone!! That's why!!!"
"!"
"Well? And? Who do you think that is?" She taunted. Then with another shower of orbs she continued. "Not that i'm gonna tell you!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!"
Yuno activated his wind powers to the max, trying to dodge the attacks, however to no good avail. Almost a dozen hit him.
'The... attacks just keep comming! She has huge magic reserves!'
*Blam! Blam! Blam!*
"Ugh..."
"My, my! You're getting clumsier and clumsier..." she laughed. "What curse hit you this time, I wonder...?"
'Rrgh... My eyes... I can barely see anymore! my body... is going numb... My ears are failing too!'
"Hi hi hi ha ha ha ha!!! Ash curse magic, Cheerful ash destruction!" She said, licking her lips. "Bit by bit... While trembling with terror... You'll pay dearly for calling me old!"
"Huff... Huff... I... can't see... Damn it!" Yuno muttered as he swiped his hand in front of him. Another tornado came to life. However, it was waay off mark. Not even close to Catherine.
"Kya ha ha ha ha ha!!!" She cackled. "Just what are you aiming at, hmm?"
*Bam Bam Bam!*
"You've gotta aim properly, like this!" She yelled as she launched three more orbs at him. "You know, if you beg for your life very nicely, I don't mind forgiving you!! Say 'I'm ever so sorry, miss~'"
"..." Yuno didn't say anything. Just gritte his teeth and took the attacks head on.
'I can't... see anything... I can't... feel at all...'
*Pling!*
Suddenly, in the dark void around Yuno, a bright white bird like creature appeared, lighting up the void.
His blind eyes widened at the sight.
'This is... The flow of mana...?!'
That's right. It's said that mages with wind based mana are pretty good at detecting mana. With all five senses cut off and his back against the wall, Yuno, with his finely honed concentration showed an astonishing ability to detect mana. Not just that. He attempted to go even beyond that.
*Whoosh!!!*
His void vision cleared out, starting from himself. He began 'seeing' the mana in the air and in the people around him. His vision cleared out in seconds. But it didn't stop there. He peered into himself, trying to access that particular patch of mana that will let him use 'that' power again.
Sure enough, he saw it. A small amount of extremely violent yet calm mana deep inside him. He willed it to come out.
*WHROOOOOSHH!!!*
The winds picked up forming a massive storm as ancient mana spewed forth.
"Who said... That I'm done?!" He yelled as the winds launched outwards from at the centre, destroying the orbs aimed at him and rag-dolling Catherine from her perch on her broom.
"wh-what?!" She yelled. 't-this brat! T-the way he's gathering mana... And this feeling... That boy... He controlled mana?!'
*Whoosh!*
As the cyclone around Yuno dissipated a petite girl floated in-front of him, her arms opened protectively. His grimoire flipped to a new page, recording a new spell.
"That grimoire!!!" Catherine gasped. "The legendary... 4-leafed grimoire?!"
"I'll tell you... just one thing about me..." He muttered.
"Huh?" - Catherine.
"I'm..." A huge amount of mana gathered around him. "...a really bad loser!!!"
*WHOOSH!!!*
*CRACK! WHAM! BOOM!*

Hey guys! Back from my New year's vacation. I had a blast back at home. But alas, back to study life I go! Gotta study for my half yearly's! Also, umm... There's a small announcement... I'll be uploading only 3 chapters per week now, instead of the usual 4.
