Ning Rongrong and the others stood there, completely lost for words. They watched Su Yan and Tang San, thinking about how strange this whole situation felt. Deep down, they were questioning everything they saw.
They wondered if Su Yan's spirit power and spirit rings were all just things he got by cheating. It was lucky that they were all part of the group chat. If they weren't, they probably would have been fooled by Su Yan's act just like everyone else was.

She asked if Su Yan really beat up Tang San and if that was the reason Tang San broke through to level 30. Tang Yuehua seemed interested in this idea. she asked if Su Yan could help people break through their spirit power just by hitting them. She even jokingly asked if he could avoid hitting their faces.
Liu Erlong laughed at this. She asked Tang Yuehua if she actually believed what Su Yan was saying. Then, a person named Group Member Number Nine shared a famous quote. He said that when Heaven wants to give a person a great job, it first makes them suffer.
It makes their body tired, makes them hungry, and puts them through many hard times. He claimed this was the proof that Su Yan was actually helping Tang San raise his spirit power. Ma Xiaotao was shocked. She said she thought Su Yan was just being mean on purpose, but maybe he really was helping Tang San.
Tang Yuehua said she thought she understood now, but Bibi Dong and the Cat in the Shadows just posted question marks, clearly not buying it. Ning Rongrong just laughed in the chat.
Dugu Yan, using the name Yanzi is not a Swallow, said she was going to die laughing. She knew the truth because she had been watching the whole time. Liu Erlong asked everyone to wait. She pointed out that if Su Yan was just beating Tang San up, no one could explain how Tang San actually reached level 30 right at that moment.
Hu Liena agreed with her. She said it couldn't be a coincidence because Su Yan said he would help Tang San reach level 30 today, and then it happened. Bibi Dong still didn't believe it.

The group chat was full of doubts, but the people actually there, like Zhao Wuji, were in an even stranger mood. The more they thought about it, the more Su Yan's words seemed to make sense. At first, it looked like Su Yan was just being a bully.
But when they remembered him talking about the "great office from Heaven," it started to look like he was being a life mentor. Even Tang San, who was in a lot of pain and hated Su Yan, started to feel like something was weird. He knew that if he had just practiced normally, it might have taken him several days to reach level 30. But after Su Yan hit him for five minutes, he actually broke through.

Su Yan saw Xiao Wu's message and walked over to her. He playfully pinched her face because she had actually guessed the truth. He thought to himself that he would have to reward her with a large carrot later.
Su Yan then looked at Zhao Wuji and said that since they had two things to celebrate now, they should go find a spirit ring for Tang San. Zhao Wuji nodded, still wondering how Su Yan had done it.
Su Yan finally replied to the group chat. He told them that this was the power of being a transmigrator. The others were still curious. Bo Saixi asked again how a beating could lead to a spirit power breakthrough.
Ma Xiaotao wanted to know the trick so she could beat people up too. Su Yan asked Dugu Yan and the others what they were doing in the Star Dou Great Forest. One member remembered Su Yan saying he would steal Tang San's luck, but they didn't see how that connected to the current situation. Su Yan walked at the back of the group with Dugu Yan and Ning Rongrong, a big smile on his face.
He explained to the chat that in the original story, Tang San was supposed to meet Meng Yiran today. They were supposed to fight over a spirit beast called the Phoenix Tail Cockscomb Snake. During that fight, Tang San was supposed to naturally reach level 30.
Su Yan also explained that in the next day or two, the Titan Giant Ape, who is the second brother of Xiao Wu, would come to take her away. While Tang San was trying to save her, he was supposed to find a two-thousand-year-old Man Faced Demon Spider that would give him an external spirit bone.
Su Yan told them that because he was there, Meng Yiran and her people left early without a fight. This meant Tang San didn't have the chance to break through to level 30 like he was supposed to.
Su Yan said he didn't want his "brother" to miss his chance because of him. So, he gave Tang San a massive beating to force the breakthrough to happen naturally. Everyone in the group chat responded with nothing but question marks, completely shocked by his logic.
