Chapter 134: The Falcon and the Qilin

Five minutes ago.

When Ganyu brought rain to the entire Alabasta Kingdom from the sky, she suddenly felt something.

A power from an unknown source surged into her Qilin body, causing her nearly depleted elemental energy to swell significantly.

Ganyu was naturally overjoyed. Although she didn't know where this power came from, with it, she could transform from her beast form back into a human.

So, Ganyu looked down. With her mystical Qilin eyes, she pierced through the clouds and mountains, watching the soldiers who had dropped their weapons and armor to dance in the rain, King Cobra with tears in his eyes, the Rebel leader Koza burying himself in the mud, and Vivi on the city wall, weeping with joy as she loudly announced the end of the war...

And beneath the surface, Crocodile, using the last of his strength to churn the sand of the entire stratum to bury everyone.

Ganyu gazed down at this scene. Seeing Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp in danger, she moved her mind. Her Qilin body instantly transformed into human form. While condensing frost, she leaped down from the sky.

"Celestial Shower!"

An earth-shattering ultimate move descended, turning the surging sand into a field of ice.

And her companions in danger were naturally saved.

"That's good."

Ganyu felt a surge of joy, intending to land quickly and regroup with her friends.

But transforming back into human form had consumed a lot, and coupled with that full-power "Celestial Shower," the elemental energy she had just recovered bottomed out again.

A strong sense of exhaustion hit her suddenly. Her vision went black, her body went limp, and she fell from the sky just like that.

But she didn't panic. With her body's strength, she wouldn't die even falling from a high altitude. Moreover, her companions below wouldn't watch her fall; someone would definitely catch her.

Just as she fell to about twenty meters from the ground, a green figure shot up like an arrow!

Ganyu watched the green-haired man leap up, extend his left arm, and catch her by the waist, pulling her into his arms.

Ganyu felt grateful and was about to whisper a few words of thanks in his ear.

But soon, she saw the man frown. He exerted force with his arm, as if moving some awkward cargo, and nimbly shifted her from a "princess carry" to... his shoulder.

That's right, just like carrying a sack.

One arm hooked around her thigh, leaving her waist pressed against his shoulder. Her upper body hung down his back while her legs dangled in front.

Ganyu: "???"

She froze, her mind going blank.

The gratitude from a moment ago vanished instantly, replaced by an indescribable annoyance.

Was she cargo? A sandbag? Did she need to be carried like this?!

However, her weak body left her no strength to protest. She could only let Zoro carry her in this extremely inelegant posture as he landed back on the ground.

Thud.

Accidents happen. The spot Zoro chose to put her down happened to have a protruding piece of frozen rock.

When Ganyu's feet touched the ground, her left heel landed right on that slippery icy rock.

"Ah!" Ganyu let out a soft cry. Her already weak and unstable body lost its balance, and she tipped forward.

Worse, the direction she fell was right towards Zoro's chest!

No!!!

Ganyu screamed internally, watching that face get closer and closer.

Zoro obviously hadn't expected this mishap. He stared blankly, forgetting to reach out to support her or step back. He just stood there stupidly.

Just as she was about to crash into the green-haired swordsman's arms.

"Ganyu!"

Nami rushed over from the side, grabbing Ganyu's arm and pulling her back into her own embrace.

Nami hugged her tightly, then looked up and glared furiously at the still-dazed Zoro. "Are you an idiot?! You can't even take care of one person properly!"

Zoro finally snapped out of it, scratching his hair awkwardly. "I... I didn't think she'd be that weak..."

Bang!

Before he could finish, Nami's fist slammed onto his head.

Zoro fell to the ground, a visible lump swelling on his head.

"Hmph!" Nami retracted her fist. When she turned to Ganyu in her arms, her expression instantly became gentle and concerned. "Ganyu, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"

"Mmh... I'm fine," Ganyu replied softly, a faint blush appearing on her pale face.

She tried to stand straight with Nami's help, but as soon as Nami let go, her body swayed again, as if she were drunk.

"You're not okay at all!" Nami didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She quickly supported her again, rubbing Ganyu's head with her other hand. "Still trying to be brave when you can't even stand steady."

"I... I'll be fine after a rest." Ganyu's face turned even redder. She hadn't expected her body to be this difficult to adapt to without elemental energy.

However...

Ganyu quietly sensed the elemental energy slowly recovering in her body. Although she was weak now, she could clearly feel that she would fully recover with half a day's rest.

And once fully recovered, her elemental energy reserves would reach about 30% of this body's peak state.

By then, she would be able to switch freely between human and Qilin forms without being restricted by insufficient energy. Even in human form, she could borrow some of her main body's power.

Thinking of this, Ganyu's mood brightened slightly.

She leaned against Nami, glancing quietly at Zoro, who had just climbed up from the ground.

The green-haired swordsman was brushing ice chips off his clothes, muttering something about "violent woman" and "ungrateful." But when he noticed Ganyu's gaze, he paused and quickly looked away, evidently knowing he had been too careless just now.

Ganyu sighed. She raised a hand, intending to thank him, but saw a figure rushing over like the wind.
