Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Fight Our Way Out

The three-headed Cerberus, its eyes narrowed in anger, let out a guttural roar. The chains binding it to the wall rattled as it strained against its restraints. "You dare challenge me!? Foul-scented creature!!!" Cerberus roared as it stomped its right foot with anger, blowing an ice blast from its mouth straight at Samuel.

Samuel saw Cerberus' attack and automatically activated his combat mode, Vanguard. A green flash of light enveloped his body as he utilized the defensive abilities of Vanguard, blocking all of the ice blasts that were moving at point-blank speed. He shifted his stance, his body relaxing. He smirked mockingly and taunted.

"Crazy, huh?" Samuel taunted, his cockiness evident as Cerberus' attacks failed to hurt him.

Suddenly, Cerberus swung its left foot at Samuel, but Samuel noticed the attack and managed to dodge it in time by jumping into the air, performing a move called Air Hike. A magical red glyph appeared beneath Samuel's feet when he jumped into the air. (Glyph color changes based on Samuel's equipped Obsidian arms) Cerberus' claws swiped past below him as he landed on the ground with both feet.

Then Samuel noticed that Cerberus' body was covered with ice, as if he were covering himself with armor. "Hmm, it seems I have to destroy his icy armor before attacking him..." He thought, as he tried to devise a plan. Then he got his dual pistols, Mercy and Cruelty, ready to blast his icy armor, his grin excited. As he pointed his pistols, he started blasting his icy armor until it broke.

The bullets pierced through the ice armor, shattering it into shards that scattered across the frozen floor. Cerberus, its icy armor now broken, roared in frustration, its three heads shaking with fury. "You think you can stop me with such petty tricks?" It snarled, its voice echoing through the chamber. "I am Cerberus, guardian of this prison, and I will not be defeated by a mere human!"

"Yeah, we shall see about that, mutt..." Samuel said, his voice sounding cocky. He switched his combat mode to Gunslinger. As a blue flash of light enveloped his body, he utilized the firepower, fire rate, and other abilities of Gunslinger. He then jumped towards the three heads of Cerberus, as a magical red glyph appeared beneath Samuel's feet when he jumped into the air, and performed one of his Gunslinger mode abilities called Rainstorm. Samuel aimed Mercy and Cruelty below him, raining bullets down as his body spun in the air. "Hoohoohoo..." Samuel yelled, sounding excited.

From the sidelines, the Advent girls watched with a mixture of awe and apprehension.

"Incredible!" Bijou gasped, her eyes wide with amazement. "He's actually hurting Cerberus!"

"His movements are so unpredictable," Nerrisa added, her brow furrowed in concentration. "He's using the dog's size against it."

Fuwawa and Mococo were practically bouncing with excitement. "Go, Samuel, go!" they cheered in unison, their tails wagging furiously.

Shiori, however, remained silent, her expression a mixture of awe and concern. "He's strong, but Cerberus is far from defeated," she muttered, her eyes fixed on the unfolding battle.

Back to Samuel, he was still in mid-air, switched his combat mode to Quickster, as a yellow flash of light enveloped his body as he utilized the speed and agility of Quickster. He spun his whole body while putting Mercy and Cruelty back to his holster mid-air. He faced his back and performed a move of his Quickster named Sky Star. As he dashed in the air, far away from Cerberus, making distance. He landed gracefully on the ground and turned around at Cerberus, his expression still looking cocky. He then noticed that Cerberus' heads had different colors on them: red, blue, and yellow. He thought that Cerberus' heads had different attack mechanics.

Cerberus spun its heads, currently showing the red one. As the red head unleashed a powerful blast of ice directly at Samuel, moving at point-blank speed. But Samuel, noticing the attack, only dashed away, using his Quickster combat mode. Then Samuel teleported to Cerberus' heads and switched to Blademaster combat mode, as a red flash of light enveloped his body as he utilized the offensive and other abilities of Blademaster. He gripped the handle of his Retribution and performed a move called Aerial Rave, as he slashed Cerberus' three heads with four consecutive strikes.

Cerberus jumped back, making Samuel also land back to the ground with both feet. Cerberus responded by slamming one of its paws into the ground, causing ice shards to fall above Samuel. Samuel noticed the falling ice shards, switched his combat mode to Vanguard, and a green flash of light enveloped his body as he utilized the defensive abilities of Vanguard.

Samuel parried all of the ice shards as the Vanguard meter increased. Samuel once again switched to his combat mode, Quickster, as a yellow flash of light enveloped his body as he utilized the speed and agility of Quickster. He teleported, this time in front of a head. And while it was open, he switched back to Blademaster as a red flash of light enveloped his entire body. Again, I performed the same move called Aerial Rave to Cerberus' three heads.

While in mid-air, Samuel switched his combat mode again to Quickster, as a yellow flash of light enveloped his entire body. As he dashed back, making distance, while still in mid-air, he shot one of Cerberus' heads with Mercy and Cruelty: the blue head. Then he teleported again to Cerberus' three heads and switched his combat mode again to Gunslinger, as a blue flash of light enveloped his entire body and again performed a move named Rain Samuel aimed Mercy and Cruelty below him, raining bullets down as his body spun in the air. "Hoohoohoo..." Samuel yelled, sounding excited.

Samuel, still spinning, landed gracefully away from Cerberus, switching back to his neutral stance. He noticed that the blue head was now slightly charred, a clear sign that his attacks were having an effect. Cerberus, enraged and battered, stumbled back, its chains groaning under the strain.

"You... you will pay for this!" Cerberus roared, its three heads spewing ice and fire. Each head seemed to be channeling two different elements, creating a chaotic mixture of ice and fire energy.

As Samuel landed, he noticed the Cerberus' three heads had different attack patterns and that each head had the power to control ice and fire. Cerberus uses the blue head to encase itself in ice armor, summon showers of icicles, and belch small icebergs, while the red head manipulates eliminate fire, especially fire attacks. The yellow head, however, combines both ice and fire. Each of his heads uses different techniques.

"So, each head has different attack mechanics, huh?" Samuel mused, dodging a stream of ice showers that fell above him. "This is getting interesting."

Samuel grinned, unfazed. "Is that all you got, Fido? I'm just getting started!" He said mockingly. "I can dance with you all day." He said with a shrug, his cockiness unchanged. He switched back to Vanguard, the green aura returning, just in time to block a blast of fire from the red head. The heat was intense, but since he was in the Vanguard stance, he was unaffected by the heat, the meter filling rapidly. He teleported behind the yellow head, switching to Blademaster, and unleashed a flurry of slashes, each strike aimed at the three heads again.

From the sidelines, the Advent girls were a whirlwind of emotions. They were impressed with how Samuel moved and handled Cerberus without struggling.

"I see, so the three heads have different attack patterns. The red head manipulates the fire demonic element, while the blue head is manipulating ice, and the yellow head has both of the elements combined," Shiori thought, analyzing Cerberus' attack patterns silently. "That's insane!"

Bijou, however, was impressed at Samuel's combat abilities, especially how he automatically switched to his combat modes effortlessly. "Incredible!? He is switching to his combat modes automatically in mid-fight. It's so cool!"

Nerrisa nodded in agreement, smiling seductively. "His ability to switch between combat modes so seamlessly is incredible. It's like he's always one step ahead," She said, starting to fall in love with Samuel even more. "Oh my gosh, he is so dreamy, I want to make him my husband." She thought as she held her cheeks with her hands.

Fuwawa and Mococo were practically jumping up and down, their cheers echoing through the chamber. "He's got this! Look at him go!" Fuwawa said, cheering Samuel. Mococo also cheered back. "Show him what you've got, Samy! You can do it!"

But little did the girls know, Samuel was massively holding back against Cerberus. If he truly tries, he can one-shot Cerberus even if the beast engulfed itself with ice armor. The reason why he holds back is to prolong the fight because it's boring to him if he one shots his enemies. And also to give Cerberus a fighting chance against him and to also entertain himself in the fight.

Samuel again teleported again to one of Cerberus' heads using Quickster, and while he was in mid-air floating, he switched his combat mode again to Blademaster, and again performed a move called Aerial Rave, and delivered four executive Retribution slashes to all three heads of Cerberus, as the blue head exploded to pieces, making Cerberus a two-headed dog. Cerberus roared loudly with pure rage. The chamber reverberated with the sound of Cerberus's enraged roar, a deep, primal sound that shook the very foundation of the prison hallway.

Its remaining two heads, Red, that manipulates fire and yellow that manipulates both ice and fire, snapped at Samuel. Cerberus launched a barrage of icy blasts with its yellow head, which were falling from the ceiling. And the red head blows a firestorm from its mouth, creating a wave of blazing inferno at its wake. But yet again, Samuel switched back to Vanguard and blocked the attack effortlessly. The Vanguard meter is finally full.

Samuel then taunted. "Sweet baby!" He said, sounding excited with a mix of mockery.

Cerberus had become enraged, glowing red and attacking recklessly. The dog roared in anger, breaking the chains that once restrained him. His body was burning hotter than ever, and he turned a fiery red. This would be a problem for most people, especially to the Advents. But to Samuel, this is like Tuesday to him.

Cerberus once again roared and ran at him with full speed, trying to bite Samuel with its fangs as it reached the limits of its chains. Samuel jumped to the air, performing a move called Air Hike. A magical red glyph appeared beneath Samuel's feet when he jumped into the air. (Glyph color changes based on Samuel's equipped Obsidian arms), narrowly avoiding its fangs. Samuel, still in mid-air, performed a move of his Retribution called Helm Breaker, slamming his sword into the ground with powerful force, aimed directly at the neck of one of the heads.

The Helm Breaker slammed Cerberus into the ground, creating a crater where its head had been. "Ha!" Samuel shouted. He continued his attacks on Cerberus's two remaining heads while the beast was down, even as the chains slowly pulled it back. Overwhelmed by Samuel's relentless assault, Cerberus was momentarily knocked unconscious.

Samuel didn't relent. He activated his Vanguard combat mode and used the full meter. As the meter peaked, a surge of power coursed through his veins. Unleashing the accumulated energy in a devastating Vanguard counterattack, he thrust his right arm forward, releasing a shockwave that exploded Cerberus's red head into pieces, just like the blue one.

With only one head remaining, Cerberus, the mighty guardian, awoke, shaking its head to fully regain consciousness. Still smirking cockily, Samuel spoke, "Down to one, huh? Don't worry, pooch, I'll make this quick," he taunted.

Cerberus roared again, enraged, and prepared to fight at full power. The yellow head's eyes shone, its left eye a brighter blue, its right crimson red. Samuel smirked excitedly. Cerberus swung its fire-imbued right paw, but Samuel perfectly parried the attacks with Vanguard. Each perfectly timed parry increased the Vanguard meter. Cerberus then stomped its left paw, creating giant shards, but Samuel again parried the attack with Vanguard. Samuel taunted mockingly, "Give it up!" shrugging.

Cerberus refused, unleashing a torrent of ice and fire, a chaotic maelstrom that threatened to engulf the chamber. Samuel, still looking bored, switched his combat mode to Quickster, a yellow flash engulfing him. He dashed through the onslaught, leaving afterimages in his wake. "Not bad, Fido," Samuel quipped, "but you're still just a one-trick pony." Samuel could see the desperation in the remaining head's eyes, a mix of rage and fear. Cerberus was tiring; its attacks were becoming less precise and less powerful.

Samuel knew the end was near. Using Quickster's teleportation ability, he teleported in front of Cerberus, switching to Blademaster, a red aura flaring around him. "Time to put you down, little doggy," he said, his voice losing its playful tone. He slashed upward with Retribution, performing a move called High Time, sending the beast airborne. "Blast off!" he shouted. Then, he performed a move called Aerial Rave, slashing Cerberus's head four consecutive times with Retribution. "Say goodnight!" he said, performing Helm Breaker again, slamming the blade down and cleaving through Cerberus's head. "Haa!" he shouted.

Cerberus roared one last time before collapsing, its body shaking the chamber. The chains clattered uselessly as the beast lay defeated, looking pathetic and broken. Its remaining head, a mix of ice and fire, was panting heavily. The chains dug into its fur, dragging it back, but it was too weak to resist. "You are not human, are you?" Cerberus asked, curious.

Samuel smirked. "Neither or both, I'm a fucking Nephilim, Fido," he said, holstering Retribution.

Cerberus's eyes widened. "A Nephilim!" the beast said, sounding shocked. "I see," it continued, lowering its head. "Regardless, you have proven your strength. I acknowledge your abilities, Nephilim. Take my soul and go forth. You have my blessing." Cerberus roared, giving its soul to Samuel.

Samuel raised his right hand, and Cerberus's soul flew into it. He looked at his hand as Cerberus's soul vanished, transforming into a frozen, three-ended nunchuck. Samuel's serious expression faded, replaced by a smile.

Samuel examined the weapon, testing its power with stylish and flashy combos. The nunchucks manipulated ice with each swing. Then, they transformed into a flaming, tree-layered long staff, and he continued to perform stylish, flashy combos. Samuel spun the staff, flames dancing, full of style.

In his final combo, Samuel jumped, spinning the staff, which returned to a frozen nunchuck with three ends. He spun the nunchucks, creating gigantic ice shards upon impact. Landing, he said, "Too easy," smirking confidently and impressed by the weapon's power. It vanished, ready to be summoned at will. The Advent girls, silent during the demonstration, finally spoke.

(Cerberus: A triple nunchaku that manipulates demonic ice and fire magic and can transform into a long staff during combat. The nunchaku form controls ice, while the staff form controls fire magic. Obtained by defeating the demon guard dog, Cerberus.)

"That was amazing!" Bijou exclaimed, clapping. "He's so talented!" Her eyes sparkled.

"The way he switched was incredible," Nerrisa added dreamily. "He's so skilled and handsome..."

Fuwawa and Mococo jumped, shouting, "Samy's the best! Did you see that combo?!"

Shiori mused, "The weapon seems to resonate with his abilities. It's an extension of his power."

Samuel chuckled, his smirk widening. "Sharp as always, Shiori. Let's just say I like to prolong the fun. Besides, where's the challenge in a one-shot kill?" He gestured towards the exit door. "Now, shall we move on? I want to leave this fucking shithole."

The Advent girls nodded, their eyes sparkling, ready to leave. "Where do you think this leads?" Bijou whispered.

Samuel shrugged. "Who knows... Maybe fucking human guards with guns blazing," he joked, grinning deviously. "But, whatever it is outside, I'm eager to know." He didn't take the world seriously, being too OP to be hurt or killed, not even by nuclear weapons.

The Advent girls giggled nervously at Samuel's dark humor, their excitement tempered by a sliver of apprehension. Despite his nonchalant attitude, they knew Samuel was anything but reckless. He was a force of nature, a whirlwind of chaotic energy contained within a deceptively laid-back exterior. They trusted his instincts, even if they couldn't always decipher them.

Shiori stepped forward, her gaze steady and analytical. "Regardless of what awaits us beyond this door, we should proceed with caution. Being prepared is always advantageous."

Samuel gently put his right arm around Shiori's shoulder, which surprised the rest of the Advent girls, including Shiori, and gave her a genuine smile. "Relax, darlings... we've come this far, remember? Once we open this door and go outside, we can finally be free," he said, trying to give the girls a good vibe. "But don't you worry your pretty little heads; I've got a feeling we're about to have some fun," emphasizing "fun" with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Then, without hesitation, he kissed Shiori on her right cheek, catching her off guard, unable to resist giving a beautiful woman a smooch.

Shiori's eyes widened slightly at the unexpected kiss, a faint blush creeping up her neck. The other Advent girls gasped and giggled, exchanging knowing glances. Nerrisa playfully fanned herself with her hand, while Fuwawa and Mococo squealed with delight. Bijou covered his mouth and giggled.

"S-Samuel," Shiori stammered, adjusting her glasses, "while I appreciate the sentiment, I believe such displays of affection are unnecessary and potentially disruptive to our current objective."

Samuel chuckled, unfazed by her mild reprimand. "Relax, Shiori. A little kiss never hurt anyone. Besides, it's good for morale, right? Keeps things from getting too tense." He winked at the other girls, his playful smirk returning. "And who knows, maybe after this all of us can go to a hotel and have hardcore sex together..." He said to the girls, smirking mischievously.

Shiori, however, remained composed, though a slight twitch in her brow hinted at her inner turmoil. "Samuel," she said, her voice firm but laced with a hint of exasperation, "such crude and inappropriate comments are hardly conducive to a professional or even a friendly relationship. We have a task at hand, and your... propositions are a distraction."

Samuel simply shrugged, his smirk unwavering. "Hey, I'm just keeping it real. We're all adults here, right? And let's be honest, the tension's been building ever since we got stuck in this dump. Just offering a way to, shall we say, release some of that pent-up energy." He winked again, his gaze lingering on each of the girls in turn. "But hey, no pressure. Just throwing it out there."

Samuel turned towards the heavy metal door at the end of the hallway, his hand resting on the cold surface. "Alright, enough flirting. Let's get this show on the road. Ready or not, here we come, world."

Nerrisa, ever practical, cleared her throat. "Right, as much as I enjoy Samy's… enthusiasm, perhaps we should focus on what precautions we need to take. Any ideas, Shiori?"

Shiori, recovering her composure, adjusted her glasses. "Given the security we've encountered thus far, it's likely the other side is heavily guarded. We should assume armed personnel, and potentially… magical defenses."

Fuwawa and Mococo exchanged excited glances. "Magical defenses! That sounds like fun too!" they chimed in unison.

Bijou, ever the optimist, clasped her hands together. "Well, I'm ready for anything! As long as we're together, I know we can handle it!" she said, her eyes sparkling like her gemstones.

Nerrisa, lost in her romantic musings, sighed dreamily. "Anything is an adventure with Samuel by our side."

Fuwawa and Mococo, practically vibrating with energy, bounced on their heels. "Let's go, let's go! What are we waiting for?!"

Samuel smirked excitedly and spoke, "Alright girls, let's rock..." His voice was filled with excitement.

With a final, dramatic flourish, Samuel gripped the handle of the heavy metal door. He took a deep breath, a wild grin spreading across his face. "Showtime!" He yanked the door open with a resounding clang, the sound echoing down the hallway. A rush of cool air swept over them, carrying the scent of rain and damp earth. They were no longer in the sterile, metallic confines of the prison. Instead, they were outside the prison building, Samuel and the Advent girls exhaling the fresh air.

Bijou, inhaling deeply, spoke, "Ahh, the great outdoors, it's been so long..." sounding genuinely happy to finally be outside.

Before them lay a vast, sprawling courtyard bathed in the eerie glow of flickering floodlights. Towering walls, topped with razor wire and gun emplacements, surrounded the space, reinforcing the sense of confinement. Several guard towers were scattered throughout the courtyard. Suddenly, a deafening alarm blared, shattering the relative silence. The guards in the towers shifted, their movements becoming more alert and purposeful. A voice boomed over the loudspeakers, crackling with static. "Intruders! Intruders in Sector 7! All units, converge on Sector 7! Eliminate the threat!"

The towers were manned by figures in dark uniforms, their rifles trained on the open doorway. Ground units also ran towards the entrance, rifles raised, aiming at Samuel and the Advent girls.

One of the guards shouted to them, "Don't move, stay where you are!"

The Advent's expression turned serious, as they braced themselves for an upcoming slaughter. Samuel, on the other hand, smirked. "Well, well, well," Samuel drawled, his eyes scanning the scene with amusement, his smirk widening. He clapped his hands excitedly and said, "Alright, first come, first served... This shit is getting better and better, too bad no one here's gonna enjoy the show!" His voice echoed.

Before anyone could respond, a volley of gunfire erupted from the guard towers. Without a moment's hesitation, the guards opened fire as well. Bullets whizzed past them, impacting the walls around the doorway, sending sparks flying.

"Scatter!" Shiori roared, addressing the rest of the Advent, as she and the Advent jumped away from the hail of bullets. Samuel, however, danced through the bullets, making fun of them.

Samuel moved with blinding speed, with his base speed alone, not using his four combat modes. He weaved through the rain of bullets, dodging and weaving, and leaving afterimages in his wake. He wasn't even taking these guards seriously anymore, moving too fast for them, especially for the bullets themselves, as to him the bullets were moving in slow motion, and he was moving at super sonic speed.

Like Samuel dancing through the rain of bullets, the Advents were also dodging bullets effortlessly, just like Samuel. Even though Samuel can effortlessly handle his guards without trying, they are not damsels in distress. So they will also fight their way out, together, the six of them.

Bijou channeled her gemstone powers, turning her entire body into a gem, making herself invincible, as the bullets flying back were deflected. Nerrisa summoned her staff with a microphone and shouted at the guards, releasing a sonic wave through her mouth, enhanced by her staff, which is a microphone. Fuwawa and Mococo summoned their claws, and the sisters tore through the guards like enraged dogs. Shiori summoned her sketchbook and her paintbrush, as she drew in her sketchbook, summoning inky monsters and beasts, then commanded them to wreak havoc on the guards, as the ink beasts and monsters tore through them.

The courtyard erupted into chaos. The guards, initially confident in their numbers and firepower, were quickly overwhelmed by the Advents' diverse and formidable abilities. Bijou, a shimmering, gemlike figure, deflected bullets with ease, creating a mobile fortress of invulnerability. Nerrisa's sonic screams shattered eardrums and disoriented the guards, leaving them vulnerable to the swift attacks of Fuwawa and Mococo, whose claws ripped through uniforms and flesh with terrifying efficiency. Shiori's inky creations, grotesque and nightmarish, surged forward, their shadowy forms tearing through the ranks of the guards, sowing fear and panic.

Amidst the pandemonium, Samuel continued his dance, weaving through the fray with impossible grace. He wasn't attacking, not yet, but observing, analyzing, like a predator savoring the moment before the kill. His eyes darted from one Advent to another, a calculating glint in their depths.

"Well, looks like it's time for me to pull out the big guns," Samuel smirked, his voice barely audible above the din of gunfire. He finally stopped his dance, his feet planted firmly on the ground. A slow, predatory smile spread across his face as he turned his head, a bullet whizzing past. He summoned Cerberus into his right hand, his new weapon that he acquired by defeating the demonic guard dog earlier. "Alright, time to put these babies to the test."

Samuel activated his combat mode named Blademaster, as a red flash of light enveloped his body, utilizing the offensive and other abilities of Blademaster. He performed a move of Cerberus called Ice Age, raising the nunchucks into the air and spinning them around his hand. "Freeze!" Samuel shouted, as he created a sphere of ice that enveloped his body, deflecting all of the bullets in its wake.

The icy sphere pulsed with an otherworldly cold, freezing the very air around it. Samuel then lowered his hands, and the ice sphere stopped. He switched his combat mode to Quickster, as a yellow flash of light enveloped his body, utilizing the speed and agility of Quickster, and teleported in front of the guards, and started swinging Cerberus, each swing creating a shard of ice to the guards' bodies.

The guards, caught off guard by Samuel's sudden burst of speed and the frigid assault, didn't stand a chance. Each swing of Cerberus left a trail of shimmering ice shards that embedded themselves in their bodies, freezing them from the inside out. Their movements slowed, their faces contorted in silent screams, and within seconds, they were encased in solid ice, statues of frozen terror.

Samuel, a blur of yellow light, danced through the remaining guards, Cerberus a whirlwind of icy death. He moved so fast that the ice seemed to materialize out of thin air, encasing his foes before they even knew what was happening. The courtyard, once a scene of chaotic gunfire, became a macabre art gallery, filled with frozen figures suspended in eternal agony.

The remaining guards, witnessing the swift and brutal efficiency of Samuel's assault, began to falter. Their courage evaporated, replaced by a primal fear that choked their throats. They scrambled backward, desperate to escape the icy grip of the Quickster, but there was nowhere to run.

"Don't just stand there!" one of the tower guards screamed, his voice cracking with desperation. "Shoot him! Shoot him now!"

The guards in the towers, momentarily stunned by the spectacle below, finally regained their senses and unleashed a renewed torrent of gunfire, but Nerrisa blasted them away with her sonic screams, sending them flying into the air because of the shockwave.

Shiori, ever the strategist and leader of the group, said in a serious expression, "Girls, let's leave the ground guards to Samuel, we will handle those towers above..." All of the Advents nodded in agreement.

Fuwamoco raised their claws, ready to commit mass slaughter. Fuwawa's eyes glowed crimson red, while Mococo's shone royal blue. They grinned devilishly, their teeth and fangs visible. They ran towards one of the towers on all fours, moving like wild dogs. Bijou used her powers of gemstones and emotions to weaken the willpower of the guards in the towers, making them vulnerable to any type of attacks. Fuwamoco moved to destroy the tower that Bijou weakened, followed by Nerrisa, who also blasted the rest of the towers that Bijou weakened with her powers of emotions. Shiori used her sketchbook and paintbrush to make ink-like scissors and use them as melee weapons.

As the bullets rained down, Samuel grinned, reveling in the chaos. He continued the onslaught of the guards, wielding Cerberus. He relished the fear in their eyes, and stylishly swung Cerberus. This was more than just a fight, it was a performance, his attacks very flashy, a dance of death. He spun Cerberus around his entire body, the nunchucks whistling through the air, creating a vortex of icy shards with each hit.

Samuel switched back to Blademaster, as a red flash of light enveloped his body, utilizing the offensive abilities of Blademaster. He performed another Cerberus move named Crystal. "Chew on this!" he shouted, stabbing the ground with the three-headed nunchucks, unleashing powerful gigantic ice shards in the ground in front of him, making the guards fly into the air, some being brutally impaled by the giant shards. He wasn't finished yet, following up with the Million Carats move. "It's cool!" he shouted, slamming the nunchucks into the ground, releasing a gigantic shard of ice that surrounded him, making the guards fly into the air, some being brutally impaled by the giant shards.

The courtyard was now a frozen wasteland, a testament to Samuel's overwhelming power. The ground was littered with grotesque ice sculptures, the frozen remains of the guards a chilling reminder of his merciless efficiency. But Samuel wasn't finished yet. His eyes scanned the remaining guards, a predatory glint in their depths.

Meanwhile, the Advents were making quick work of the guard towers. Fuwamoco, a whirlwind of claws and teeth, tore through the reinforced steel, ripping apart the structures with savage glee. Nerrisa's sonic screams shattered the remaining glass and metal, leaving the towers teetering on the brink of collapse. Shiori, wielding her ink-scissors, sliced through the panicked guards, her shadowy creations assisting in the carnage. Bijou's subtle manipulations weakened the guards' resolve, leaving them easy prey for her allies.

As the last tower crumbled, Shiori landed gracefully behind Samuel, back to back, her expression grim. "All clear," she announced, her voice barely audible above the wind. "But I doubt this is the end of it. This prison has layers."

Samuel smirked, Cerberus dripping with icy residue. "You're right, Shiori. This is just the appetizer. I want the main course..." He twirled Cerberus with a flourish and said, "I'm not satisfied yet, I want more." As he smirked, the three-headed nunchucks transformed into a fiery, tree-layered long staff.

The transformation of Cerberus into a fiery staff sent a wave of heat radiating outwards, melting the ice around Samuel's feet and casting dancing shadows across the frozen landscape. The three heads, now miniature, snarled with crackling flames, their eyes burning like embers.

"Let's see what this baby can do," Samuel murmured, hefting the staff. It felt strangely light, almost weightless, yet he could sense a raw, untamed power surging within. He tapped the staff against the ground, and a plume of fire erupted, licking at the air like a hungry dragon's tongue.

"Where do you think they'll be?" Bijou asked, her eyes scanning the prison building.

"More guards, most likely," Nerrisa replied, adjusting her microphone staff. "The real defenses will be waiting for us." She said with a mischievous smile. "We should be ready for what may come."

Samuel grinned, a wild glint in his eyes. "Then let's not keep them waiting. Let's go, ladies," he said, putting the long staff over his right shoulder.

Samuel strode forward, the Advent girls falling into formation behind him, their weapons at the ready. They moved as a cohesive unit, a force of nature ready to unleash their power upon whatever lay ahead. At the far end of the courtyard, they saw a massive steel gate in the walls, the only visible exit.

But the guards would rather die than let these six escape. Another wave of guards came sprinting towards them, this time with more firepower. Samuel and the Advents noticed the guards' presence and stopped. Guards ran onto the rooftops, aiming sniper rifles with laser sights at the Advents, while other guards surrounded Samuel and the Advents, all aiming their guns. Samuel and the Advents stood back-to-back. The Advents' expressions turned serious, but Fuwamoco grinned deviously and raised their claws. Samuel smirked, eager to dance with the guards.

The air crackled with tension, the red laser dots dancing across the Advents' bodies like malevolent fireflies. The guards on the ground tightened their grip on their weapons, their faces grim masks of determination. This was it, a final stand.

A voice boomed from the ranks of the encircling guards, amplified by a megaphone. "This is your final warning! Surrender now, and you may yet live to see a prison cell again!"

Samuel chuckled, the sound echoing mockingly in the tense air. "Surrender? After all this fun? I think not." He tightened his grip on the fiery staff, the heat intensifying, and switched his combat mode to Pyromancer, as the flaming tree staff turned into a gauntlet, and the mini heads became shoulder armor.

"Looks like they want to play rough," Shiori said, summoning a swirling vortex of ink around her. "Let's give them what they want."

"Yeah," Fuwawa purred, her crimson eyes gleaming. "We were just getting warmed up."

"Looks like they're serious this time," Samuel drawled, a hint of amusement in his voice. He twirled the fiery staff, Cerberus, letting the flames dance around his fingers. "Alright, ladies, let's show them what we're made of."

Without a word, the Advents sprang into action. Bijou focused her energy, creating a shimmering shield around the group, deflecting the initial barrage of bullets from the ground units. Nerrisa unleashed a deafening sonic scream, targeting the snipers on the rooftops, disrupting their aim and sending them scrambling for cover.

Fuwawa and Mococo, with their feral grace, launched themselves towards the ground units, a whirlwind of claws and teeth. They moved with incredible speed, tearing through the ranks of the guards, leaving a trail of bloodied bodies in their wake.

Shiori, ever the strategist, summoned her inky creations, grotesque monsters that lunged at the guards, sowing chaos and fear. The courtyard transformed into a chaotic battleground, a maelstrom of bullets, screams, and shadowy figures.

Samuel, however, remained at the center of the storm, a calm eye in the hurricane. He surveyed the scene, analyzing the guards' movements, their weaknesses. He was waiting for the opportune moment to unleash his own power.

The snipers, momentarily stunned by Nerrisa's sonic attack, regained their composure and resumed their assault. The laser dots danced across Samuel's body, and the snipers squeezed their triggers.

But Samuel was too fast. With a burst of speed that defied the eye, he dodged the bullets, leaving afterimages in his wake. He raised Cerberus, the fiery staff, and channeled his energy into it. The flames intensified, swirling around the three heads, creating a vortex of heat.

"Time for a little fireworks," Samuel murmured, a predatory grin spreading across his face. He slammed the staff against the ground, and a pillar of fire erupted, scorching the sky. The heat was intense, melting the ice on the ground and sending the guards reeling backward.

Samuel activated his combat mode named Blademaster, as a red flash of light enveloped his body, utilizing the offensive and other abilities of Blademaster. He performed a move of Cerberus called Inferno Burst, raising the three-section long staff into the air and spinning them around his hand. "I'm on fire!" Samuel shouted, as he created a tornado of inferno that enveloped his body, burning everything in its wake.

The tornado of inferno roared to life, engulfing Samuel in a swirling vortex of fire. The heat was so intense that it warped the air around him, creating shimmering distortions in the vision of anyone nearby. The guards, caught in the path of the inferno, screamed as their clothes and skin ignited, their bodies reduced to charred husks in mere seconds.

The snipers on the rooftops, momentarily distracted by the carnage below, found themselves targeted by Nerrisa's sonic screams. The force of the sound waves shattered their eardrums and sent them tumbling from their perches, their sniper rifles clattering uselessly on the ground below.

Fuwawa and Mococo, fueled by their primal instincts, continued their relentless assault on the remaining ground units. Their claws and teeth ripped through flesh and bone, leaving a trail of mangled corpses in their wake. They moved with a terrifying speed and ferocity, a blur of fur and fangs that struck fear into the hearts of the guards.

Shiori, with her mastery of ink manipulation, summoned a horde of grotesque monsters to terrorize the guards. The inky beasts, with their razor-sharp claws and teeth, tore through the ranks of the guards, sowing chaos and fear. The guards, overwhelmed by the relentless onslaught, began to panic, their courage crumbling under the weight of the Advents' combined power.

Bijou, with her gemlike resilience, stood firm, deflecting bullets and shielding her allies from harm. Her very presence radiated an aura of invincibility, bolstering the morale of the Advents and demoralizing their enemies.

Samuel, not finished, also performed another move of Cerberus called Blaze. He jumped into the air and spun his whole body, making his position upside down. He spun the three-section long staff while upside down, "Burn baby burn!" Samuel shouted, as he created a tornado of inferno that enveloped his body, burning everything in its wake.

As Samuel finished, he landed on the ground with both feet, the tornado of fire dissipating, leaving behind a scorched and smoldering landscape. He stood amidst the carnage, his body unmarked, his eyes burning with a wild, untamed energy, and also deactivated Blademaster as a red flashing aura disappeared.

"Is that all?" Samuel said with a smirk, his voice echoing in the sudden silence. "I was hoping for more of a fucking challenge." He shrugged as Cerberus vanished into his hands, and would appear again if he summoned it. As Cerberus vanished, Retribution returned to his back holster, next to his dual pistols Mercy and Cruelty.

To be continued.
