Even Kaido seemed amused and rolled through the clouds. Then he looked down at Luffy again, wearing a cold smile. "What king did you say you want to become?"
As he spoke, he dove straight down from the clouds. "Forget it, what an ignorant kid. Hand over the Devil Fruit!"
As his voice fell and Kaido came diving down from the sky, at this moment, aside from Luffy, who faced Kaido without fear, Sanji, Teach, Usopp, and Nami all had drastic changes of expression.
Immediately, two of them shrank backward while the other two rushed to Luffy's side.
But aside from Teach, how could any of them possibly be a match for an emperor of the sea?
At the instant Kaido was about to reach the deck, the giant dragon instantly transformed into human form, a massive spiked kanabo in his hand, wrapped in lightning, swinging down at the three of them.
In just the blink of an eye, the three were sent flying by the attack.
Two figures were blasted away and crashed heavily onto the deck, while only one figure merely staggered back a few steps, still standing firmly on the deck.
But the blood at the corner of his mouth made it clear to everyone that he wasn't nearly as unfazed as he appeared.
"I have seen you, the kid from Newgate's ship!"
Kaido frowned at the guy, apparently recalling who he was. "I didn't expect you to have some guts. But do you really think you can stop me?"
As he spoke, he lifted the kanabo again and smashed it toward Teach.
Just as Teach's expression changed and he cursed internally on why the hell did he even pretend here, and nothing good ever comes of this…
"I'm the man who'll become the King of the Pirates, you damn old man!"
A voice suddenly rang out, followed by a whoosh sound as a fist slammed directly into Kaido's face, leaving everyone dumbfounded.
Although such an attack was basically like scratching an itch on this monster, still, who was he?
He was the monster known as the strongest creature!
Even Kaido didn't expect that after taking one blow from him, this kid could still stand up.
Though it was just a casual attack, not just anyone could withstand it.

The two exchanged a look, as if arriving at a decision. A trace of reluctance flashed in Nami's eyes, but she hardened her expression, took a deep breath, and just as she was about to speak…

"Looks like the Marine Headquarters really underestimated your Umbrella Corporation. What a shame."
His expression hardened, his mocking smile vanishing instantly, replaced by a ferocious grin. "If your boss were here, maybe he could stop me. But since it's just you two… just go and…"
