Chapter 17 - Chapter 15: The Purge of Inefficiency

"The Decisive Battle is won, Victor," Joshua announced. "You are now the Warlord of LOGS. Your first order is to address the inefficient leadership."

Joshua spent the first hour preparing the legal documents. The purchase of a controlling stake was immediate, but the consolidation of power required formalization. Using his legal understanding, Joshua swiftly executed the required maneuver.

"The logistics Clan, LOGS, is now structurally integrated into Stone Acquisitions LLC," Joshua informed Victor. "The ownership structure is simplified. You command the entire resource network."

Victor nodded, his attention already focused on the upcoming meeting. The first order of business was meeting the former management team—four bewildered Terrans waiting in the conference room.

The Dictate

Joshua and Victor entered the room. The managers, pale-faced and wearing ill-fitting suits, stared up at the towering, scaled figure of Victor Stone. Joshua sat, but Victor remained standing at the head of the table.

"Good morning, gentlemen," Joshua began, adopting the role of the silent intermediary. "Mr. Stone, the new majority owner, has some initial observations regarding your operational structure."

Victor did not offer greetings or platitudes. He pulled up a simplified flow chart on the screen—the LOGS organizational diagram—which Joshua's Organizational Efficiency (G-Rank) skill had distilled into three major systemic flaws.

"Inefficiency is a Tactical Vulnerability," Victor stated, his voice a low, geological scrape that vibrated the table. "Your supply routes demonstrate a 17% overlap in the suburban sector, resulting in a 4% operational profit loss. Your staffing models include three roles whose function can be fully automated by existing scheduling AI. Your decision-making protocol is based on consensus, not efficiency."

The Terran CEO, a man named Mr. Thompson, sputtered. "Mr. Stone, with all respect, this is a publicly traded company. We can't just—"

"Your command has failed the Clan," Victor interrupted, his tone absolute. "The resources you manage—the vehicles, the fuel, the time—are being wasted. A Clan that cannot maintain efficiency is a Clan that is defeated by the environment."

Victor raised a hand, pointing directly at the CEO. "You are inefficient." He pointed at the Chief Operating Officer. "You are redundant." He pointed at the Head of Human Resources. "Your role prevents optimal deployment."

The Purge

Joshua moved quickly, legally executing the termination orders he had already drafted. He had to ensure this was done by the book to prevent lawsuits that could consume Victor's profit.

"Victor has exercised his right as the majority shareholder to eliminate redundant overhead," Joshua explained calmly to the stunned managers. "You are all terminated effective immediately with severance paid from the previous ownership structure. Please vacate the premises."

[TASK COMPLETE: LEADERSHIP PURGE EXECUTED VIA T-RANK EFFICIENCY MODEL.]

Victor did not wait for them to leave. He turned to Joshua. "Implement the replacement structure."

Joshua immediately accessed the brokerage account. Within minutes, he had secured a year-long subscription to a cloud-based, AI-driven logistics and scheduling system—the System's recommended 'optimal deployment' solution that eliminated the need for complex, human-led management.

The T-Rank warrior had achieved his goal: the company was now a machine of pure, cold efficiency, managed entirely by algorithms and T-Rank oversight.

Over the next two weeks, the results were astonishing. With zero management overhead, the automated logistics system slashed operating costs by over 30%. The stock price of LOGS (now symbolically known as Stone Logistics) launched into a stratospheric climb.

The $12,000 investment was now valued at over $85,000.

Victor, now commanding a portfolio exceeding $100,000, saw his opportunity.

"The Citadel must be defended entirely by my forces," Victor declared. "These minority shareholders are a liability. Their votes and demands prevent total command. Use the excess Victory Marks to eliminate all remaining external influence."

Joshua executed the buyout offer immediately. The overwhelming profit allowed Victor to purchase the remaining 49% of shares, achieving 100% control of the logistics company.

[EPIC GOOD DEED ACHIEVED: MAXIMIZED CORPORATE PROFIT VIA T-RANK EFFICIENCY AND OWNERSHIP.]

[SYSTEM POINTS (SP) AWARDED: +100]

[CURRENT SP: 150]

Joshua had survived the hostile takeover and secured 100% control of a physical company for Victor. The warrior now commanded a thriving Terran business and a seven-figure portfolio.

Victor turned from the screen, his four eyes alight with the satisfaction of absolute conquest.

"The Decisive Battle is complete, Counselor. Now, we fulfill the second part of the Dual Campaign," Victor announced. "I require Permanent Settlement. Find me the physical territory that will yield the ultimate Tangible Honor."

Victor Stone now has vast resources and total control over a profitable company. He is demanding the final, physical symbol of his conquest: Permanent Settlement (Real Estate).
