"No, I'm fine," Syril courteously responded.
"Fine? But…" Sherry wanted to persuade, but was abruptly cut short.
"I'm fine… I came to check on you, didn't I?" Syril smiled, placing a finger to seal her lips and retracting after.
No rush.
Gentle.
That was the only way he could get her.
Sherry's facial expression softened. She held his calm gaze for some seconds before her words fell out.
"Yesterday, when you left, I came straight home. Jessica was waiting. And since she has Healing ability, she fixed me," Sherry smiled, happy to talk about her daughter.
"That's good. I didn't know she had Healing ability… Good to hear. Where is she? It's been a long time since we met."
"Oh yeah, that was what I got her. I couldn't go with that stupid decision my parents made by getting me Regeneration ability." Sherry found herself lamenting, hating that decision her folks made that altered her life completely.
