[DESCRIPTION]
KAC-5210 is a serpentine, draconic entity composed of folded parchment, black ink veins, and pages that constantly write and rewrite themselves. It moves through, consumes, and records all information that exists within the Akashic substrate. Its length is immeasurable as sections of its body disappear into dimensional shelves, returning in impossible angles.
The entity is theorized to be older than recorded history, not because it predates civilizations, but because it consumes them.
KAC-5210 devours narratives including:
- historical records
- any possible story that can or can't exist
- diaries
- songs
- myths
- personal memories
- the conceptual "story" of a person orcivilization
When KAC-5210 consumes a story it does not erase the event. It erases the meaning of the event. Entire civilizations have vanished not by destruction, but because their histories became blank pages. It's physical manifestations cause words to fade from books, photographs losing distinguishing features, languages collapsing into incoherence, people losing their individuality, and an individual's techniques and powers becoming "storyless" and thus unusable. When consuming a story, its mouth opens into a yawning void of fluttering pages and victims describe hearing thousands of quills scratching simultaneously.
---
[BEHAVIOUR]
KAC-5210 shows no hostility or predatory instinct. It does not communicate verbally, but it writes in the air around it using black ink vapor.
It is fascinated by:
- individuals with strong destinies
- protagonists
- "chosen ones"
- those whose stories contain unresolved trauma or contradictions
KAC-5210 has attempted to "rewrite" KAC files and their contents several times, becoming more interested in the entities documented and archived. Its attempts were stopped when another entity mentioned in one of the files halted its curiosity. It is unknown which entity prevented it, and whether if it was out of fear or something else.
---
[CONTAINMENT ATTEMPT]
Containment is successful.
Current protocol involves:
- Flooding the containment chamber where it's manifestations occasionally breach into our world with constant, changing stories (read aloud by an AI chorus of 200 simultaneous voices).
- Maintaining unbroken narrative flow, preventing stagnation which attracts the entity.
Personnel entering the chamber are required to carry "Living Journals", Aura-infused objects that continuously document the user's actions to avoid memory erasure.
---
[FINAL NEUTRALIZATION]
Neutralization is theoretically possible only if KAC-5210 is given a complete story—one without contradictions, gaps, or potential for further development.
However, no such story has ever existed as narrative "completeness" is impossible. Attempts to satisfy the Wyrm's hunger only increase its consumption rate.

[NOTES BY Chief Archivist Mae Hoshikawa]
"There is nothing cruel about the Chronicle Wyrm. Nothing kind. It is merely the law that says every story must make sense. And if it does not… then the Wyrm will make it make sense, even if that means devouring the world to rewrite the ending."
- Chief Archivist Mae Hoshikawa
