Ryan turned to her fully, and then he moved an inch forward, and she inched back. He moved again, and she kept inching backwards with her eyes on the floor, until the wall blocked her path. Ryan placed his both hands on the wall beside her head as he gazed at her with a playful smirk.
His gaze made her nervous, she couldn't help but gaze in his eyes as well. Her heart knocked gently, her breath went uneven, and slowly she was getting lost in his eyes.
"I thought about your friendship offer" Ryan finally spoke, without breaking their eyes "My answer is neither a yes nor a no"
What? What does that mean? He had said a big 'No' before.
"It means... I can switch your title anytime I want"
"W-What?" She got perplexed at that.
"At anytime, you can either be a mistress or a friend of mine. And you should act like one on either situations".
Her nervousness grew, trapping her whole body. Her lips parted but no words came out. All she did was gaze, clutching the hem of her shirt. Her cheeks grew red slowly and she ended up biting her lips.
Satisfied with his actions, Ryan took her out with a tiny grin visible on his face. Once they got far away from the basement, her mind came at ease and she began.
"But Mr Han, why do have so many weapons? What do you do with them?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Because they are so many. Are you a gangster? Or a Mafia King?"
She doesn't fail to surprise him with her running mouth. He has never met a woman like that. Other women are always scared of him, afraid to voice out their thoughts. Though Yana and Ms Jung aren't like that, but every other woman is an exception.
But here she is, blurting out whatever comes to her mind. He was happy he got to find her kind.
Annoyed that he isn't replying to her question, Arianna tugged his shirt "Mr Han..... Are you a gangster? Tell me quickly"
"Yah! If you don't stop calling me that, I will have to punish you"
"Aish!" She cursed "No wonder you had no friends. Because you're a meanie"
Ryan stopped in his tracks. A meanie? How dare she call him that? He turned, but the girl was no where to be found. She ran away as she said that, since her room was just three steps behind. Closing her door properly, and putting a drawer in front of it. Finally, she had irked him and he can't do a thing now. Smiling, like a crazy girl, Arianna jumped on the bed and took the book.
"Oh my, I missed you" she grinned "Don't worry no one can take me away from you now"
Ryan scoffed. Did she run away from him? This is his house. He'll get her at whatever time when her guards are down. He went back to his study to continue working, cursing himself for getting distracted by her.

Zayden walked into a unisex salon. He wanted a new hairstyle, just like the humans.
"Hello" he greeted a staff by his side.
"Hello" she gave a bow "You're welcome" She ushered him to a seat, and he sat, giving off his noble aura.
"I need a new hairstyle. " He said "Which do you think would fit me perfectly?"
The lady looked at his shoulder length black hair that shimmered in the light. For how long has he growned it?
"One minute" she turned around "Ms. Kim?" She called as she took steps to her. "Ms. Kim" she called.
Jana turned to her "Yes?"
"A new customer is here. He needs a new haircut. I don't know which would fit him with his very long hair" Hye ri explained.
"Give me a minute, I'll be there " Jana turned back to who she was speaking with while Hye ri left.
"Hold on a little sir. My boss would attend to you first" she explained to Zayden.
"No problem" he went back to his phone, checking his email.
Jana finished speak with the customer, so she she turned to Hye ri "Where is he?"
"He's right over there" she replied. With a smile, Jana walked to him. Her hair bouncing in sync with her steps. The light radiating her beauty.
The clanking of the heels rang in Zayden's ears and he lifted his eyes to the source. Everyone seemed to have disappeared as all he could see was the beauty, walking to him.
*Ba Dum* *Ba Dum* *Ba Dum*.....
Were the sounds his heart made, crying out to be saved. All forces pulled him to her, like a metal attracted to a magnet.
"Hello, I'm Kim Jana" her melodious voice rang in his ears, like the whispers of the breeze and the melody of Nightingales from the summer trees.
"Uh...hello" he gulped.
"I heard you wanted a new hairstyle?" She scanned his lengthy hair with her eyes. Awestruck at its beauty.
"I do"
"Would you like your hair cut short?" She asked again.
"Yes...." Zayden's heart was constantly giving a warning alarm. His eyes got stuck on the golden Lotus, a glittering gem.
"Let me see...." She placed her index under his chin and lifted his face up. Turning his face from left to right to check which would fit. His Adam's apple bobbed at her touch. It was like feather touches of a swan.
"Hye ri"
"Yes?"
"Give him the neat comb back. It shouldn't be too low. And also, leave a strand on either sides of his forehead. Do it well please" Jana gave her instructions.
"Yes, Ms Kim"
Jana gave a warm smile to Zayden, giving a slight bow, she walked away.
That smile, made his heart race at a faster pace, making him weak in the knees. If not that he was sitting, he would have fallen. He had seen that smile before, but where? He tried to think where, but none came in. He kept gazing intensely at her, watching her every movements while his hair was made. The way she smiled and addressed customers, made his heart flutter. She was kind and jovial. Even her workers enjoy her presence, speaking to her a little casually.
He feels he knows her. Her presence, her smile, her voice... everything felt familiar. But where had he seen her?
