Chapter 50 - CH 50 Seo In Gang

The man pointed the gun at his accomplice, both trembling in fear. He hesitated, which irked Ryan.

"Shoot!" he yelled and the man pulled the trigger for the umpteenth time in just a second, with his eyes closed. Everyone was expecting to hear the bang from the gun, but nothing came out. They cried, more fear clutching their hearts by every second that passed.

"Give it to him" Ryan ordered and he took it. Both shaking to the core of their being.

"Shoot!" he heard and he pulled the trigger at the sound of Ryan's voice. Still, nothing.

Both Zariel and Arianna's heart raced. Is he going to let them kill themselves? They already apologized' Arianna thought.

The man placed the gun back on the table, crying.

"Forgive us, sir" they begged. "Please, don't kill us"

"Who sent you?" Ryan asked again

"No one" he cried.

Ryan scoffed at the answer he got. With a flash, he took the gun, and pulled the trigger.

*Bang*

The bullet grazed passed his right cheek and his ear, blood gushing out, causing the women behind to shudder. The man cried out in pain, holding unto his cheek.

"Aish!" Ryan cursed "You made me waste that bullet. It should have gotten right.....into his head" he pointed at the other who also cried, trembling in fear. Ryan took another bullet, reloading the barrel, he placed it in front of them.

"Take it!" he said.

"Young master, please.... enough already" Zariel spoke, hoping he would listen to her.

"Take. The gun" he said through clenched teeth.

"Young master, that's enough" she said again but Ryan paid no heed. At this point, no one can calm him down, even when he looks so, so calm. Even Leonel just stood there, he couldn't say a thing.

The man took the gun with trembling hands "Shoot!" He heard, and he pulled the trigger for the umpteenth time in fear. Still, nothing. They all wondered how Ryan got the first shot.

"I love this game" Ryan smiled like a maniac "Don't you love it?"

"Please.....let us go"

"You don't love my game?" He hissed "I guess it's because you have no idea who would die next. I'll give you hint then. It can either be you....or you" he smirked

"Take the gun!"

The man who had the cut on his face took the gun and the other feared for his life. He was sure the bullet will come out this time.

"Do I always have tell you first before you pull the trigger?"

"I'll talk, I'll talk" the other blurted.

Ryan grinned "I'm listening"

"Seo In Gang" He voiced "He sent us"

"Seo....In Gang?"

"Yes"

Ryan tilted his head to the side "Who is that moron?" he mumbled. "But it wasn't so hard to say his name, was it?" They stayed quiet with their heads lowered. That name.... Arianna felt she had heard it somewhere.... She brushed the thought off immediately.

The one who held the gun lifted his eyes and looked at Ryan. He knew the amount of hatred his boss has for Ryan. Why not help him do that which he desires?

He pointed the gun at Ryan and he flinched. Before anyone could do anything, he pulled the trigger. Nothing. He pulled again, still nothing. His face turned pale, his lips trembled and he wished for death at that moment.

Ryan laughed, starting slowly at first, before increasing it. He laughed so hard like a maniac, causing shivers down their spines. He lifted his hand and on it was the bullet. Who would have thought he never loaded the barrel?

"Did you....did you really think I'll let you die so easily? That to in a random way?" He laughed and then leaned forward. His face reflected the ruthless beast within.

"I don't give enemies such an easy death. I torture them to the point where they beg for death and even death rejects them. To the point where you're dead yet you're still alive, so the birds can feed on your flesh. You feel the pain until you can no longer feel it, yet you're not dead." he said. With a smile.

Arianna gasped at his words. Where was the calm and caring man she saw a few minutes ago?

"Please spare us"

Ryan got up on his feet, burying his hands in his pockets. "Get rid of them, chairman Park" he said and turned to leave.

"Yes. With pleasure" Leonel smirked and Ryan stopped in his tracks, turning to him. "I didn't ask you to feast on their hearts" Having said that, he walked away.

Leonel gritted his teeth "I understand"

Arianna looked at the men with pity. She wished she could help them out of this state. She turned and followed Ryan in.

"Young master!" Zariel yelled from behind as she rushed to him. "Young master!!"

Ryan stopped in his tracks and she came to stand in front him. "How could you do that?" She questioned.

"Pardon?"

"You shot him right.... on his face. What kind of punishment is that?"

"It was a game, Ms Jung" he corrected.

"So what?! You knew the better way to get the truth . Why play that game? Their lives were on the line!"

"Really? I wasn't aware" Ryan said.

"I told you it was enough. They apologized"

"Did they? I never heard" he said.

"Damnit, you...." She sucked in her words.

"You're worried about them? What about yourself?" He asked

"Huh?!"

"Where were you when Ari fell in the pool?" He threw the question at her.

"Pardon?" Her eyes grew wide.

"You were sleeping like a corpse, while Ari drowned" he gritted his teeth, his eyes turning bloody.

Zariel looked at her "Y-You fell in the pool? When?!"

"It was just an accident" Arianna said.

Zariel rushed to her immediately "Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?" She checked her body.

"I'm fine" she assured.

"I should punish you, don't you think?" Ryan's voice came. Zariel turned to him as fear gripped her. She knows that at times like this, he looses it and deals with whoever annoyed him . Even if it's her.

"Forgive me" she bowed her head.

"I'm fine" Arianna repeated "You don't have to punish her because of me" Ryan looked at her for a while, then turned and left. He listened to her, which surprised him.

Arianna bowed slightly at Zariel, leaving with Ryan. Zariel slapped her forehead.

"How could you be so careless? How could you let the bride get harmed?" She muttered, slapping her forehead again "Next time you be more careful"
