After breakfast, he pulled her to his study and she could only trail behind. Reaching his desk, he picked a big bag and gave her without a word and then sat on his seat. He folded his hands together and watched her with an expectant look.
"What is this?" she asked as she opened the bag. "Whoa!" she exclaimed, bringing out a black Louis Vuitton handbag from inside. She held it up in air...
"Wow..." she kept exclaiming. Ari dropped the bag on the desk and checked the bag again. She brought out a perfume from Tamburines, a top brand in Korea. "OMG!" she immediately applied the perfume and perceived the fragrance. "Hmm... smells nice" smells like rose.
She dropped the perfume and continued checking the bag. She brought out new dresses and clothes. "OMG. All this for me?" she wasn't even looking at the man who wore a big smile on his face. She didn't bother trying out the dresses because there were exactly her size. She continued her search, bringing out shoes this time. She kept on exclaiming, overwhelmed by the sudden gifts. She dropped the shoes, and took out the last thing from inside. A black card. Her eyes went wide, and her jaws dropped.
"B-b-black card. Ryan, it's a black card!"
"I know" he simply said.
"Y-you're giving me a black card?"
"Yes. Lavish all you want" he said. Arianna wiped invisible tears that rolled down cheeks.
"Why you suddenly giving me so much gifts?"
"It's still my sweetheart's month. Besides, I can only spend my money on you"
Arianna sniffed. She immediately sat in his lap and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, boyfriend
Her act just now made him chuckle "Don't thank me" she pulled away and looked at his face "Why?" she asked.
"I'm your boyfriend. It's my job so don't thank me" he told her. Hearing him say that caused her to smile. She cupped his face and kissed his lips. His eyes grew wide. No! Please!
Fortunately for him, she kissed him briefly and pulled away. "You're the best boyfriend in world" she told him.
"Really?" he asked with bright eyes, forgetting he was just on hot plate. And she nodded "Then you're not allowed to have any other boyfriend except me. For eternity"
"Yes sir" she nodded.
"Alright, let's go now. You'll be late" she lifted her up from his lap and made her stand. She quickly packed her new gifts and went to keep them in the room. But she still held onto the bag. She was going to flaunt it today.
They walked outside, and when they got to the threshold, Ryan's gaze darkened. A new Maybach sat outside with a man beside it. Leonel and Zariel were also there, with a very good knowing smile.
"Anna" Leonel said. "Look what we got you. Your birthday gift"
"Huh?" she didn't understand.
"This beautiful car here....we got it for you, Anna" Zariel spoke this time.
"What?" the boyfriend and girlfriend said in unison. "For me...this car?"
"Yes, yes. It's yours" Leonel spoke.
"And this is your driver" Zariel said, pointing to the man in black who stood by the car. He immediately bowed his head to introduce himself.
"Hello, young master, young miss. I'm Kang Ju yeong."
"Hi..." Arianna just waved with a smile. And then she turned to Ryan.
"So you won't be taking me to school?" she asked with pursed lips. Before Ryan could say a word, Leonel beat him to it.
"Young master is really busy lately. He can't take you to school" he said "Right, young master"
"I can..."
"Not. You cannot" Leonel said, causing Ryan to glare hard at him.
"Aria..." Ryan called, again getting cut off.
"Young master has a lot of appointments today. He's really busy. So he can't follow, or take you to school" Zariel said. Arianna stared with a sullen face, while Ryan glared at the the two. They planned this. He'll make them pay.
"Then... escort me till I reach the gates" Aria said, pointing at plain air to indicate the school gates.
"Okay" he was quick to say. Pushing her towards the car. Arianna gave the two a tight hug and thank them for the very wonderful gift, before entering the car. Ryan shot the two a hard glare that could send them to their graves before climbing the car as well.
When they reached the school, Arianna was all smiles. She still can't believe she's here.
"Aria..." Ryan called her and she turned quickly with her dazzling eyes and smiles. "You finally here. Make sure to focus in class okay?"
"Okay?"
"Have lunch, okay?"
"Okay?"
"If anything happens, don't hesitate to call me, okay?"
"Okay?"
"And... Come home soon okay"
Though she was tired of the 'okays', she smiled brightly.
"Okay. But, I'll stop by the restaurant to get the gifts Jia and Hayden got me" she told him.
"Oh...okay" he nodded, gently rubbing her hair.
"Bye" she said and quickly left.
"Bye, sweetheart" he said, wondering if she even heard. But then she stopped, turned around and looked at him. He smiled, waving his hand at her. But she did none of that. Instead she took steps to him, and then she was running. He knew what would happen his arms for her and she trapped him in a tight hug.
"Thank you...for everything" she said, causing him to smile more.
"I'll do anything I can for only you" he said, and she tightened her hold in him that he could hardly breathe.
"That's enough" he tried pulling her away, letting out small coughs. Aria pulled away and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. He pulled her closer again and then kissed her forehead.
"Go now" he told her. And she moved away from his arms. His watched her hand slip from his, and he really wanted to pull her back. Damn! He was going to miss her. He stood there watching her until she was out of sight. Before turning to look at Kang Ju yeong who stood with slightly red ears. Damn! This couple.
"You" Ryan called him, and he straightened his back "What did you say your name was?"
"Kang Ju yeong, sir" he answered.
"Hmm. Your job is to watch over her. Anything happens to her, I'll skin you alive and make a belt from your skin. You hear me?"
"Yes, sir" he answered, feeling shivers down his spine. He still felt suffocated in front of Han Yun Shin.
"And also... She's mine. You should only look at her as your boss." he made her it clear "Have I made myself clear?"
"Yes, sir" he nodded with a lump in his throat.
"Take me back" Ryan said and climbed the car. Kang Ju yeong gulped down the lump in his throat, and wiped the sweat that had broken on his forehead before entering the car.
