Dream closed the gate behind him with a soft clink.
Eri's porch light was still on—he could see her tiny silhouette peeking through the curtain, watching until he disappeared. He lifted one hand in a final tiny wave, and the curtain fluttered shut.
Only then did he let out the breath he'd been holding since he first stepped into her empty birthday room.
"…Man," he muttered to the empty street, cheeks weirdly warm as he covered his mouth trying to hide a smile. "She…Was so cute ."
After a whole of walking later during which he kept checking his pocket whoch had a identical fove shaped pendant like the one he bought for Eri but now he was infront of his house. His house was nothing special just a normal sized house, with a normal styled design,with a normal interior and with a normal family living in it (god they arent normal).
"Ahh", he smiled as if he had returned from a war as a war veteran "I missed you my humble adobe... even though I was gone only for an hour or so hehe,"
... Yeah anything but normal people are living in this house...
He reached his own front door, turned the key—
"BIG BROOOOO!!!!!"
The moment the door cracked open, a pink tornado hurled itself at him with the force of a meteor.
"WELCOME HOOOMMMEEE!!!"
Elsa Dream's little sister had clung to him like a baby monkey clings to his mother(in this case brother). She was in her pajamas het twin tails bouncing like springs—latched onto his torso so hard he had to brace against the wall to keep from toppling.
"Elsa... one day I really think you might kill me,"
Dream said that in a tired Tobe like he has been dealing this since his birt- scratch that since his previous life.
"Dont say that to your little sister Dream you were gone for so long that's why she was worried about you," Rosa Dream's mother said thar from the kitchen while washing dishes
"Yeah I was so worried," Stella said while pounting (god she is to cute for this world ,oh and I the author think this not Dream... wait I ain't a lolico-).
"Yeah-Yeah now let me get inside or do you want me to freeze to death," "Go inside I am not stopping you," she said that while clinging to me like a koala while Dream gave her the look called 'really nigg-'.
When Dream somehow made it inside walking like a robot since Stella is still clinging to me.
"Stop clinging to your brother like a coconut to the coconut tree Stella he must be tired," Bob Dream's father said that while he sat on his chair watching TV. "Okey dad" as Stella finally stopped clinging to him Dream almost wept as he said to his father "Dad did I ever tell you that I loved you" at which his father chuckled.
"Oh and just so you know the dinner is finished so if you have eaten then good but if not then I don't care," said Rosa while Dreamed sighed glad that Eri was kind enough to have prepared snacks.
As Dream started moving towards his room he was followed by Stella from behind as she suddenly asked him in a mischievous tone "So Dream heard that the birthday party you went to was of a girl hehe," as she gave him the sly grin he to dense to understand just kept walking and said "Yeah so what," her grinned widened.....
"Was she cutee~"
Dream frooze as he remembered her crying face, her happy face, her curious face and her grateful face.
Just as she was about to ask again he quickly stepped into his room and closed the door while Stella giggled from behind the door as she slowly left to.
Inside Dream plopped onto the bed as he thought and thought of Eri but now he didn't think of how cute she was she thought of how happy he felt to have helped her and made her happy on her birthday,that was what made his heart feel warm.
"I wish I knew what she was thinking right now."
Eri was sitting on her huge bed it had gotten quite old but it was still sturdy. She held a pillow between her knees and her face as she thought of her first real birthday in a while.
The birthday in which she danced with a friend, sang with a friend, ate with a friend and had a good time with a friend.
It felt good felt so good tha she thought this was just a Dream but it wasn't And she was glad this wasn't.
"I hope I can she him again tomorrow..... I hope."
As she thought that she finally went to sleep, a good sleep and hopefully with a happy Dream..... she atleast deserved that much.
The sun rose through the clouds and shined ever so brightly as it breached many windows but most importantly it breached through the windows of two people.
As Eri woke up she god ready ,freshened up, readied herself and her gothic getup and went out hopeful that she would....
As Dream woke up he... went back to bed again (Really nigg-) he was then woken up by his sister who cannonball onto his stomach as he finally woke up even though half dead but still awake. But..... as he looked at the clock... he might as well be dead...
It was 7 am his school was at 7:30 am..... he was fu*ked.... he hurriedly got ready, he took a bat- wait he didn't take a bath what a unhygienic guy, The ate his breakfast like a civilised medieval German. (yeah this bitch had enough time to eat like that but not take a bath). then he hurriedly left the door and he did all this so quickly only to because he was hopeful that he would...
