Chapter 27: Losing?
Ryuki: "Don't you dare touch my captain."
Ryuma paused, grip still on Orimo's throat.
A slow, crooked smile grew across his face.
Ryuma:"Zeh… An interesting rat."
Ryuki stepped forward — both swords drawn — aura shaking the air around her.
Ryuki (whispering): "Double Slash Death."
SWWOOSH—!!
She launched forward, the force of her rage splintering trees behind her. Leaves tore apart in the shockwave.
Ryuma's eyes widened.
Ryuki: "Go to hell."
SHHH—KRAAACK!
Her blades carved straight through Ryuma's chest — blood spraying across the rain-soaked soil.
But Ryuma didn't fall.
He stood there — chest slashed open — expression twisting into something feral.
Ryuma:"Zehahahah… that alone can't take me down."
Ryuki (breathing hard, eyes burning): "It's just the start."
BOOM—!!
Ryuma launched forward, the earth cracking where his feet pushed off. His clawed hand swung downward—
—but THUD!
Orimo was suddenly there, blocking the blow, his arms coated in Aegis Mantra.
Orimo (low, steady): "That's enough."
He threw a tight cross — fast, precise — but Ryuma twisted his body like he had no bones.
SHRIP—!!
Ryuma's claws tore across Orimo's torso, ripping through flesh.
Orimo coughed blood, staggering.
Ryuma:"You're surprisingly weak… for the so-called Malevolent Generation."
Then—
KRA-SHOOOM!!
A sword slash fell from above — a purple arc of killing intent.
Ryuki: "Die, you damn beast!"
THUD—
Ryuma blocked with his own Aegis Mantra, sparks bursting at the point of impact.
Ryuki slid back, boots scraping dirt.
Ryuma grinned wider — blood still dripping from his chest.
Ryuma:"ZEHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The jungle thundered with his laughter.
