Chapter 71: Chaos of the Sea
Arata's boots cracked against the frozen, trembling ground, each step sending ripples through the shattered earth. His breath hung like mist in the frigid air, swirling with shards of dust and debris. Yet his grip on the spear never wavered, fingers tight around the polished wood. Soldiers froze, eyes wide, awe and terror etched across their faces.
Arata's grin widened, a quiet storm in the midst of chaos.
Arata: "This… is nothing."
Without hesitation, he charged across the battlefield, the ground quaking beneath his pace. He leapt into the air, spear poised like a comet descending from the sky.
Seraphel (from above, voice cutting through the roaring winds): "What is this old man trying to achieve?"
Arata crashed down, the impact splitting the entire island in two, sending clouds of dust and jagged rocks flying. The shockwave hurled admirals and soldiers alike, wind tearing through the air with deafening fury.
Arata: "Don't mess with me."
He swung both fists sideways, and cracks ripped through the atmosphere itself. The sea churned violently, colossal waves smashing against cliffs, threatening to devour the island whole. Lightning danced across the stormy clouds, echoing the power that Arata had unleashed.
Uruma (from the navy headquarters rooftop, voice trembling): "It's not just the island… the entire sea is tilting under his destructive power!"
From the sky, Admiral Orpheon bellowed, eyes glowing like molten gold.
Orpheon: "I will handle him now!"
He bit his thumb, summoning a torrent of yellow lightning that arced across the turbulent ocean, crackling and illuminating the chaos below. The impact caused the waves to leap like living beasts. As the storm subsided, Orpheon landed with a thunderous boom, now a towering 8'3" muscular giant, veins crackling with raw energy.
Arata (with a calm smirk, barely moving): "Move it."
The battlefield shook like the world itself was rebelling, islands trembling, waves towering, and the sky filled with smoke, lightning, and flying debris. Arata's calm presence amidst the apocalypse made him look more like a force of nature than a man, ready to unleash hell on anyone foolish enough to challenge him.
