Chapter 76: Slash
Sora (smirking, voice sharp as steel): "Watch the show carefully… don't blame me if you miss the climax."
Arata (laughing, faint amidst the flames and chaos): "U brat! Who do you think you are!?"
Narration: Sora Nithel—a swordsman without a cursed necklace, wielding a named Mythical blade: Kongotetsu. Forged from the very heart of a mountain, unbreakable, unyielding.
Sora: "This ends… now."
Arata grips his spear, muscles taut, eyes blazing. He leaps forward, spear aimed like a falling comet. Sora's fingers tighten on Kongotetsu.
Arata slams the spear down with the weight of the earth itself. THUD! The ground beneath him cracks violently, the island trembling as splinters of rock erupt. The navy fortress—obliterated in an instant.
But Sora moves like liquid steel. He sidesteps with perfect grace.
Sora: "You overestimated yourself, conqueror of the old era."
He raises his sword, the sunlight glinting off the edge, blinding in its deadly beauty.
Sora: "Mountain's Breath."
SWISH!
The strike cuts through the air like a hurricane, an elegant, lethal arc of light. Arata's head snaps violently, blood spraying across the churning sea below. Soldiers freeze, their eyes wide in horror.
Soldiers: "He… he did it. The Tremor Man… he's gone…"
Arata's body collapses into the ocean, motionless. The waves churn violently around him, carrying the weight of his fall. Not a word escapes his lips. His spear floats nearby, a silent witness to the conqueror's final defeat.
Sora steps back, chest rising and falling calmly, as if nothing extraordinary had happened.
Sora: "Get on the warships. We leave—now."
The battlefield is silent… save for the distant crashing of waves and the eerie echo of a legendary life extinguished.
