After Ian removed his equipment and stored most of his EMC in the storage unit, the group chat finally stopped glitching.
Now, Ian was dressed like Steve—blue short-sleeved shirt, denim pants, and an ordinary iron axe in hand.
"This is ridiculous. Why is the group chat's world-travel function such trash? If you're bad, just get an upgrade! Don't half-ass it and mess up the system. I've got all this money and nowhere to spend it—ugh, useless!"
(In truth, the group chat wasn't to blame. It wasn't malfunctioning—it was the Ultimate Transmutation Tablet interfering with its dimensional travel feature. The system only managed to stabilize because the Tablet had forcibly condensed its own energy and diverted most of its power.)
Picking up where the last chapter left off—
[Super Block Man]: "Don't panic! I'm ready. @Dead Legs Run, get ready—I'm coming!"
"Group chat, initiate world travel—Zombie Universe!"

(T/N: Quick summary of the movie for those who haven't watched it: A father, Seok-woo, and his daughter Su-an board a train to Busan just as a zombie outbreak engulfs South Korea. Amid chaos, selfishness, and sacrifice, Seok-woo gives his life to save Su-an, who finally reaches Busan safely.

The suffocating exhaustion from running was about to devour Chloe (Dead Legs Run). Her lungs wheezed like broken bellows—each breath stabbed like needles.
Her thighs felt like they were filled with lead, and her calves were cramping. Every step felt like a muscle tear. She knew she was reaching her limit, but the snarling of the zombies behind her was getting closer and closer, like the Grim Reaper's death knell.
"Damn it, move! Run faster!"
From the corner of her eye, Chloe saw the main group already aboard the train, while she and the brawny man, Yoon Sang-hwa (Ma Dong-seok), were left behind.
Despair flooded her chest. Seriously? I just crossed over, and I'm already gonna die? What the hell!
Yoon Sang-hwa was in no better state. Continuous running and fighting had drained every drop of his strength.
As another wave of zombies surged from ahead, he clenched his jaw, ready to pick up a shield and staff from the ground for one last stand.
He couldn't die. Seong-kyeong was still out there, still in danger—she needed him. (T/N: Sang-hwa's pregnant wife)
Just then, a sharp whoosh sliced through the air by Chloe's ear. An axe whirled past her face and cleaved straight into the zombie horde ahead.
Where it struck, zombies exploded apart—limbs flying, blood splattering the ground. In the next instant, all the dismembered remains vanished into thin air, leaving a clear, open passage.

Chloe and Yoon Sang-hwa froze, instinctively turning around.
A tall human figure appeared behind them (MC Block Man height is nearly 190cm). He was wearing a simple light blue T-shirt on top and dark blue jeans below. In his hand, he carried an... wait, why did that axe look familiar?
"Whew… made it just in time." Ian exhaled, grinning at Chloe. "So, Dead Legs Run—did I show up at the right moment or what?"
Chloe opened her mouth, unable to find words for a moment.
Joy? Surprise? No—pure terror! Brother, what kind of entrance was that?! Something just flew past my ear! I nearly had a heart attack!
Seeing her dumbfounded face, Ian chuckled. "What, don't recognize me? We were chatting just now in the group, weren't we? Dead Legs Run—your legs are giving up already? Want me to fix that for you?"
Only then did Chloe realize—this guy was Super Block Man from the chat! So that group message earlier was real—not some near-death hallucination!
"Uh… thank you, boss," Chloe scratched her head awkwardly. "I just… I just didn't process it yet..."
While they talked, Ian casually hacked through a few more zombies.
[Interdimensional Energy Collection Progress: 49 / 1051]
Ian had discovered two ways to gather interdimensional energy: by killing creatures in foreign worlds, or by simply existing there—energy accumulated over time.
A horrifying shriek cut through the tense air. Yoon Sang-hwa appeared in their sight. His face was ashen, and his eyes were filled with despair. A massive, dark horde of zombies was relentlessly pursuing him.
Because of Ian and Chloe's unexpected arrival, the story had already diverged—Yoon Sang-hwa had missed the escape train. Now, unable to see his wife, his will to live faltered.
Ian's gaze sharpened. The Iron Axe in his hand flew out like a silver lightning bolt, precisely burying itself in the zombie horde. He then sprinted toward Chloe, grabbed her, and, with another quick movement, grabbed the desperately running Yoon Sang-hwa.
"Time to fly!" Ian roared, swinging his arms and tossing both of them into the air. The sudden weightlessness made Chloe and Yoon Sang-hwa scream out loud.
At the same time, two cold, gleaming Iron Swords appeared in Ian's hands out of thin air. He charged into the horde. The sword light flashed like the Grim Reaper's scythe, mercilessly harvesting the zombies.
Severed limbs flew through the air, only to vanish before hitting the ground. Truly, the thrifty warrior Ian was killing and looting at once.
[Interdimensional Energy Collection Progress: 364 / 1051]
Chloe and Yoon Sang-hwa arced through the air, and Ian leapt up to catch them effortlessly.
"Hold tight!" Ian said, tucking both under his arms and sprinting forward. His speed was terrifying—faster than the starting bullet train itself.
The two could only clutch his shirt, eyes wide, hearts pounding. Their minds went blank under the roaring wind.
Within moments, Ian reached the edge of the platform. He bent his knees and launched himself like a cannonball—soaring easily over the tall wall.
As he flew over the wall, Ian willed it, placing a Redstone Timer near the wall. He had already placed several broadcasting Radios along the route during his run, surrounded by TNT. The Redstone wiring extended all the way to the wall.
Then, still carrying his two "passengers," Ian made a few more leaps, reaching the damaged train door.
Timing it perfectly, he hurled the pair into the carriage—right in front of a grief-stricken Seok-woo.
"Shi-t!" Seok-woo jumped in fright, nearly falling over. Staring at the two who'd just dropped from the sky, he was utterly dumbfounded.
Ian followed right after. With a light hop, he caught the door frame and flipped gracefully inside.
"What… what the hell just happened? what's going on?" Seok-woo rubbed his eyes in disbelief.
"Ah, shit… my back! That hurt like hell!" Yoon Sang-hwa groaned, clutching his waist like it might fall apart.
Being dragged along by Ian at full sprint and then used as a human cushion had nearly shattered his old bones. He rubbed his aching back, wondering if he could still have another child after this.
Chloe awkwardly climbed off him, brushing off the dust. "Oofff… I know, right? I thought I was going to meet my end there..."
Seok-woo finally snapped out of it, looking between the disheveled pair and the relaxed man standing by the door. It felt like a dream.
He pointed at them, stammering, "You… how did you…?"
Yoon Sang-hwa and Chloe finally noticed Seok-woo. The three began to converse, recounting their respective experiences. The joy of survival mingled with anxiety about the future, making the atmosphere somewhat heavy.
Suddenly, Yoon Sang-hwa's phone rang, shattering the silence. He looked at the screen—it was his wife, Seong-kyeong. He hurried to answer.
Seong-kyeong: "Yoon Sang-hwa! Hurry over! We're in..."
Yoon Sang-hwa: "Which carriage?"
Su-an: "Um... we're in..."
Seong-kyeong: "Carriage 13! Ssssh-! Hurry up!" Beep beep...
Yoon Sang-hwa: "Hello? Honey?"
Hearing his daughter's voice, Seok-woo immediately became anxious and stammered, "W-was that Su-an?"
"Is she alright?"
Yoon Sang-hwa: "They're in Carriage 13, in the restroom."
