After handling some matters, Zeke suddenly started inspecting Ian from head to toe, his eyes darting back and forth. His gaze swept between Ian's third eye on his forehead and the Elite Wolf Pup at his feet, who was looking quite lively.
"I say, Ian," Zeke suddenly slapped his thigh, raising his voice, "Your look is incredible!"
"Oh?" Ian raised an eyebrow, signaling Zeke to continue.
"Look here," Zeke pointed at Ian's third eye, "Isn't this exactly the iconic feature of Erlang Shen Yang Jian? And with this... uh, divine dog of yours, isn't this just the Celestial Hound?"
Ian, upon hearing this, also realized. He looked down at the little dog at his feet, the pup tilting its head and staring up at him, seemingly awaiting a command.
"Take another look at yourself," Zeke became more animated, "After adapting to so many attacks, now with this body hardness, it probably rivals the legendary Yang Jian's flesh that achieved sainthood! Though you're still lacking in some of the 72 transformations and divine abilities like controlling heaven and earth, but with this appearance and most of your abilities, you're definitely on the right track!"
"You rascal," Ian was amused by Zeke's wild imagination, "I didn't know you had such a great sense of creativity."
"You're right though!" Ian thought for a moment, realizing Zeke's suggestion had potential. If he could somehow disguise himself as Yang Jian, it would make things much easier in worlds with a Chinese mythology background.
While Ian's abilities weren't yet on par with the mythical Yang Jian, they were more than sufficient in the world of Super Seminary.
"To do a good job, one must first sharpen the tools!" Ian took out a large amount of equipment, ready to begin the "Divine Weapon Modification Plan."
First, he started with the Abyssal Set. The armor made a "ka-ka" sound as metal rubbed together.
The once bulky, oppressive armor quickly morphed into sleek, elegant lines, transforming into a dark gray light armor. Subtle dark gold patterns shifted across it, and upon closer inspection, it looked identical to Yang Jian's battle armor from "Black Myth: Wukong."
Next, Ian injected his energy into the dazzling cloak. The material seemed to come alive, twisting and changing. The colors faded, and it eventually turned into a pure white cloak, draped over the armor, softening the imposing look and adding an air of approachability.
A light breeze swept by, making the cloak flutter and adding to his ethereal presence.
The Zenith Sword in Ian's hand slowly melted, shifting according to his will, and ultimately transformed into a three-pronged double-edged spear.
The spear tip gleamed coldly, erratically fluctuating. With a thrust, it left behind countless dazzling spear shadows.
The Terra Prism was reshaped into an ancient longsword, designed to resemble the Slay Demon Sword. The sword's blade appeared plain and somewhat dull, but the summoned light sword could shift colors with Ian's will.
Ian made the sword glow with a faint bluish-white light, giving it an even more refined appearance.
The Sunset Longbow was held by Ian, its color transforming into a brilliant golden hue. He also took out a few night-vision arrows and dyed them silver, placing them in a silver-dyed endless quiver, resembling the golden bow and silver arrows.
If he wanted to up the ante, he could also add Archangel's Smite to the mix—one arrow, followed by a volley of others.
The Kaleidoscope Long Whip was dyed a dusty yellow, but unfortunately, it didn't come with any specific abilities. Ian could only use it to mimic the look of the "Mountain-Driving Whip," with the ability to manipulate objects relying on his own strength.
As for the Demon Binding Rope, Ian had a sudden idea. He summoned a Stardust Dragon instead. The dragon swirled around him, its starry light shining brilliantly. It was far more impressive than any rope.
Finally, Ian reshaped the Zenith Sword into a massive battle axe, ready for emergencies. The blade gleamed coldly, exuding an aura as if it could split the heavens.
Looking at the pile of "divine weapons" he'd crafted himself, Ian nodded with satisfaction, a surge of pride swelling within him.
The only thing left was the "Map of the Mountains and Rivers," which was too complicated. He hadn't found a suitable replacement yet, so he decided to put it on hold for now and study it later.
"Come on, Tony, give me this hairstyle!" Ian used light to show the hairstylist the look of Yang Jian from Black Myth.
After handing over a few platinum coins, the stylist immediately got to work. Before Ian could react, the hairstyle was already done, thanks to the Terraria hair stylist.
His short hair instantly transformed into shiny, shoulder-length black hair, swaying gently with his movements.
"Little fellow, come here, let's change your color too. We need to match!" Ian called to the elite puppy at his feet.
The stylist understood immediately, taking out professional dye and turning the dog's fur into pure black. She even added golden divine runes based on the reference image Ian provided.
She really got to work once the money was handed over.
Everything was ready. Ian dressed in the light gray armor and white cloak, holding the three-pronged spear, with the Slay Demon Sword at his waist and the black-furred "Celestial Hound" by his side. Standing there, his presence was powerful.
Zeke, watching from the side, was mesmerized. "So cool! If we went to another world, they'd definitely think Erlang Shen had descended from the heavens!"
On the other side, Zeke looked at Ian's new look, his eyes turning red with envy. "Ian, you're too cool! I want to cosplay too! I want to look awesome!"
Ian looked Zeke up and down, then suddenly had an idea. "Got it! Zeke, let's cosplay as Nezha! Just the two of us, along with the monkey from Super Seminary, and we'd have the low-tier version of the three rebellious children of Heaven!"
Zeke, hearing this, instantly became excited. "Great idea! Let's do it!"
"But your Stone Giant gene needs to be swapped out for a Meat Mountain gene if you want the three heads and six arms effect." Ian said, and immediately swapped out the genes for him.
"Your hairstyle needs a change too. Hairdresser, show him this hairstyle from Black Myth Nezha."
"As for the armor, let's use the Abyssal Set and change the color to a slightly lighter red."
"The Chaos Dragon will replace the Stardust Dragon, dyed red, with its head reshaped to match mine."
"I'll modify the Fire Spear using the Zenith Sword."
"The Knife Summoned by the Blade Staff will be changed to gold, forming a light circle behind your back, like the Universe Circle."
"The Wind Fire Wheels... What do we do about that? How about you just control two fireballs floating beneath your feet? No one will notice."
After pondering for a while and seeing the circular object beneath his weapon pile, Ian suddenly had an idea.
"Zeke, I've got it! Let's use this for the Wind Fire Wheels!" Ian pulled out the Infernal Yo-Yo.
It was perfect, requiring just an appearance modification. The color and the fire effect were already there.
Ian muttered as he worked, and soon enough, a "knockoff Nezha" stood before them.
"Zeke, remember, when you're traveling, use the power of wind to fly with your yo-yo. Don't leave your 'Wind Fire Wheels' behind."
"Also, when fighting, just act like you're using the 'Wind Fire Wheels.' Don't actually use them; it'll be a disaster!" Ian warned with concern.
Zeke, admiring his new look, nodded vigorously. "Don't worry, Ian. I'll make sure to protect it in a fight. If it really gets bad, I'll just put it away!"
Ian couldn't help but imagine Zeke, cosplaying Nezha, asking the enemy to wait while he bent down to pick up his Wind Fire Wheels and stash them in his pocket before continuing the battle.
