Chapter 516 - MTC Chapter 545: The Celestial Dragons Are Dumbfounded, the Holy Land is Occupied by Monsters!

At the peak of the Red Line, the center of world power—the "Holy Land" Mary Geoise.

The flying fleet descended here. Facing the fierce high-altitude winds, Yang Yi looked down at the "City of Gods" bathed in sunlight below, a smile curling on his lips.

"We've had enough to drink. It's about time to teach the Celestial Dragons a lesson."

Behind him, Rocks, Whitebeard, Kaido, Big Mom, Golden Lion... these legends of the old era had varying expressions, but without exception, their eyes radiated madness.

It turned out that everyone had gotten high on booze, and halfway through, someone casually suggested going to Mary Geoise.

The group hit it off immediately and headed to Mary Geoise overnight.

On the way, they passed by Punk Hazard, and Yang Yi conveniently grabbed Momonosuke, hanging him at the bow of the ship.

At this moment, the flying fleet was about to descend upon Mary Geoise.

Yang Yi pressed down with one hand, and an invisible wave spread out. The outlines of the hundreds of massive ships hovering ten thousand meters in the sky began to distort and fade, eventually disappearing completely into the sky, leaving only a ring of Paw-Paw bubbles imperceptible to the naked eye.

The Mary Geoise guards below were completely oblivious to this, continuing their haughty patrols.

"Wouldn't it be letting them off a bit too easy if we just razed this place to the ground?" Yang Yi turned around and opened his palm.

A few Sculk Catalysts appeared in his hand. Their surfaces were covered in dark patterns, pulsing rhythmically and emitting a cold, deathly aura.

"What are these..." Rocks furrowed his brows, feeling an eerie vibe from these objects.

"Just some 'local specialties'."

Yang Yi chuckled softly and waved his hand. The pulsing blocks turned into streaks of light, silently plummeting toward a corner of Mary Geoise.

Having done all this, he snapped his fingers, and a few Skeletons appeared out of thin air above the Sculk Catalysts.

"Thud."

A few crisp sounds rang out as the cold Skeletons turned into warm experience points.

Almost at the same time, the Sculk Catalysts flared brightly, greedily absorbing the experience points dropped upon their deaths. Countless blue-green sculk veins burst from the ground, spreading madly at a visible rate!

Hard stone slabs, ornate floor tiles, and steel railings were rapidly assimilated under the coverage of the fungal threads, dyed in a deathly blue-green hue.

"What the hell is that?"

A patrolling guard was the first to notice this ever-expanding, bizarre moss. He frowned and approached, stopping at the edge of the fungal carpet, and raised his armor-clad combat boot, stomping down hard.

"Crunch."

A crisp footstep echoed.

This stomp seemed to trigger some sort of switch.

An inconspicuous bulge in the fungal carpet suddenly opened, and a silent shriek instantly erupted!

It wasn't a sound, but a terrifying shockwave that acted directly on the soul!

Within a radius of several hundred meters, everyone's vision went pitch black.

Immediately after, the ground shook violently, as if some terrifying entity had been awakened.

"Roar—!!!"

A monster suddenly burst from underground! It was fully three meters tall, its entire body covered in a hard blue-green carapace. Following the sound of the footstep from earlier, it lunged at the guard who was trapped in the darkened vision!

"Squeltch!"

The first drop of blood in the Holy Land was thus shed. Before the guard could even scream, half of his body was bitten off by the monster.

"Enemy attack! Monsters have invaded the Holy Land!"

More guards rushed over. A captain coated his blade in Armament Haki and cleaved a monster in two with a single strike.

But he quickly discovered a horrifying truth—the corpse of the slain monster was rapidly absorbed by the blue-green fungal carpet. In the next second, the range of the fungal threads expanded outward by another large margin!

This land was devouring corpses!

Amidst the chaos, a Celestial Dragon showed no fear; instead, he clapped his hands excitedly. "Wow! What a novel monster! Quick, go catch them to be my pets!"

Several slaves wearing collars had eyes full of terror, but they could only tremblingly pick up nets and walk toward the monsters.

Subsequently, they were torn to shreds.

"What useless trash!" the Celestial Dragon cursed in disgust.

However, in the next second, the excitement on his face vanished.

The corpses of the slain slaves were similarly absorbed by the fungal carpet. The carpet writhed, and a new monster—retaining the general shape of a slave but entirely covered in a blue-green carapace—slowly stood up from the ground!

It twisted its neck, letting out a "clack-clack" sound, and turned its hollow eye sockets toward the Celestial Dragon from just now.

"Roar!"

The monster pounced, its sharp claws tearing the Celestial Dragon to pieces.

With the continuous death of living creatures, the fungal carpet also continued to expand.

"Thump... thump... thump..."

Heavy footsteps echoed from underground. Finally, after devouring the corpse of a giant slave, a behemoth tens of meters tall slowly crawled out. With every step, it smashed deep craters into the ground. The guards' slashes landed on its body, only to leave behind faint white marks.

"Holy Knights! Move out!"

The arriving Holy Knights quickly discovered the pattern: killing the monsters would accelerate the spread.

"Cease your attacks! Dig trenches to stop this 'moss' from spreading!" Saint Garling made a prompt decision.

Aboard the flying fleet, Yang Yi watched their futile actions and scoffed.

"Too naive. The root systems of these things will penetrate deep underground to absorb nutrients. Unless they can dig all the way through the Red Line, they'll never be able to dig it all out."

Then, with a smile, he pulled out a few more blocks of different colors.

They were Crimson blocks, Corruption blocks, and Hallow blocks.

He casually tossed these blocks into other corners of the Holy Land.

As they quietly developed, the Holy Land completely fell!

In the Celestial Dragons' residential area, bizarre flesh vines burst from the ground. Giant eyeball monsters, blood spiders, and floating brains began slaughtering the Celestial Dragons!

At the guards' station, the earth turned purple-black. From massive sinkholes in the ground, giant worms—Eaters of Worlds—burrowed out, continuously devouring the land of the Red Line!

Beneath Pangaea Castle, the colors of the trees became vibrant and dazzling. Large amounts of colorful crystals sprouted from the ground, a rainbow appeared in the sky, and hordes of unicorns relentlessly attacked the Celestial Dragons' guards.

Sculk, Crimson, Corruption, and Hallow.

The four great calamities erupted simultaneously in Mary Geoise. They seized territory, devoured and clashed with one another, and even spawned even more deformed hybrid monsters.

A Celestial Dragon of extremely high status fled in a wretched state under the desperate protection of his guards. Seeing that a monster—a fusion of Crimson flesh and Sculk carapace—was about to catch up, a flash of ruthlessness crossed his eyes, and he actually shot his nearby slave through the calf!

The slave's struggles only bought him a mere few seconds.

The Holy Knights were completely divided among these four hellscapes, running themselves ragged. They only dared to cripple these monsters, not kill them.

They couldn't kill them all; moreover, the more they killed, the more appeared, and the stronger they became.

Aboard the flying fleet, there was dead silence.

Legendary powerhouses like Rocks and Whitebeard watched until their scalps went numb. They had originally thought Yang Yi had just thrown down a few toys, but now, watching the scene unfold made their hearts pound with fear.

Fortunately, these things only spread across the Red Line. If they could spread through water, the entire world would likely be doomed.

Yang Yi knew that they could actually spread underwater too, but he wasn't about to let the entire world be tainted by evil biomes anyway.
