With the idea in mind, Gu Chen brought it up in the group chat to see if anyone had objections.
[Venti]: Great news! There'll be even more fun to watch in the future. (Venti · Celebration)
[Kaeya]: So does that mean videos of Venti kowtowing can spread across the continent now? (Smirk)
[Azhdaha]: I wasn't that interested just now, but if you put it like that, I'm suddenly intrigued! (Smirk)
[Hu Tao]: Yay! Wangsheng Funeral Parlor ads can spread across all of Teyvat now! (Hu Tao · Cute)
[Nilou]: Miss Hu Tao's funeral parlor barely gets business—why promote it like this? (Confused)
[Dori]: That's the obsession of doing business. You wouldn't understand. (Mysterious)
[Yoimiya]: Ohoho~ During festivals, we can do an even livelier livestream and show fireworks to all of Teyvat! (Yoimiya · Nice)
[Raiden Ei]: I want to read web novels! I want to binge shows online! I want to play games online! I want to… (Klee · Yay)
[Cyno]: I'm tearing up! Playing Genius Invokation TCG online… Mr. Gu Chen, long live!! (Fanatical)
[Ningguang]: In the past, using the group chat to announce Qixing policies felt a bit informal. Now with the internet, we can build an official website so even those who rarely use the chat can check the latest policies and decisions of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. (Keqing · Like)
[Kaeya]: When does it go live? I can't wait to register an account! (Impatient)
[Gu Chen]: I'm planning to use a main personal account, then branch out into sub-accounts. That way the structure is clearer. And if anyone flames me online, I'll just follow the network cable and deal with them. (Smirk)
[Venti]: That's our Brother Gu… but is that really necessary? (Guilty)
[Albedo]: So you're one of Mr. Gu Chen's haters? You've exposed yourself. (Albedo · Smirk)
[Azhdaha]: I report Venti—this guy never says anything nice. I suggest we execute him! (Smirk)
[Gu Chen]: Just hang him online and whip the corpse. (Hu Tao · Evil grin)
[Venti]: At this moment, I only need one video to calm Brother Gu down. (Zhongli · Dragon King smirk) (Venti kowtow video 5s)
[Neuvillette]: Truly a universally applicable apology video. (Facepalm)
After some time, Gu Chen had everything prepared.
All one had to do was silently recite "Teyvat Internet" to connect. A light screen would appear, similar to the chat group interface.
No need for cumbersome connectors like Sumeru's Akasha System—convenience at its peak.
Gu Chen recorded a video of himself registering an account and sent it to both the [Extraordinary Group Chat] and [Ordinary Group Chat].
Everyone followed suit.
At Debord Hotel.
Venti silently recited "Teyvat Internet," and sure enough, a light screen appeared before him.
The first thing that popped up was a [Search Engine]. He tried searching for a few things, but nothing came up—clearly, most knowledge hadn't been uploaded yet.
He searched for the website [Teyvat Family].
This was a social platform built by Gu Chen.
As soon as he clicked, a prompt appeared:
[You need to register an account before using this website. Future features will also require this account.]
[Register!]
[Please enter your nickname:]
"Can I use my real name or just make one up?"
Venti thought about it—he was a god, so why not use his real name?
"Venti."
[The nickname 'Venti' has already been registered and verified as a public figure. Please choose another nickname.]
"Huh?"
Venti froze.
He clearly remembered that online nicknames could be duplicated—so why had his name already been registered and even verified?
After thinking for a moment, he privately messaged Gu Chen.
[Venti]: Brother Gu, something's off. Why has my name already been verified? (Screenshot)
[Gu Chen]: Huh? Weren't you busy? Zhongli asked me to verify it for you, so I did. (Shrug)
[Venti]: Huh?
[Venti]: Oh… I get it now!
That old man!
He's planning to act crazy online under my name and dump the blame on me?!
Venti instantly understood Zhongli's intentions.
Immediately—
[Please enter your nickname:]
"Zhongli!"
[The nickname 'Zhongli' has already been registered and verified as a public figure. Please choose another nickname.]
Oh, well prepared, aren't we?
"Morax!"
"…Still guarded? Then—Rex Lapis!"
[The nickname 'Rex Lapis' is available. Do you want to verify it?]
"Hehe, looks like the old man didn't have time to verify all his names. Verify it! Verify it hard!"
Grinning, Venti contacted Gu Chen to explain the situation.
"These troublemakers…" Gu Chen couldn't help but laugh as he verified the account for Venti.
At Debord Hotel.
It was almost dinner time.
Venti walked out of his room and happened to see Zhongli and Azhdaha in the hallway.
"Time to eat," Zhongli said, his eyes flickering slightly.
Azhdaha stood beside him with his hands behind his back, smiling a bit guiltily but pretending to be calm.
"I know, I know." Venti nodded with a smile.
The three walked side by side as if nothing had happened, deliberately steering the conversation toward dinner while avoiding any mention of the internet.
Venti quietly recorded a video.
That night, he edited it, making Zhongli the focus, and uploaded it.
"Why Does Azhdaha Look Like an Idiot?"
As soon as it was posted, followers of [Rex Lapis V] saw it.
[Extraordinary Group Chat]
[Gu Chen]: [Link]Zhongli, why are you insulting Azhdaha? (Smirk)
[Kaeya]: Rex Lapis? The old man retired—he probably wouldn't use that name. But it's verified… oh, I get it. You guys really know how to play. (Smirk)
[Zhongli]: Don't misunderstand. This was Azhdaha's scheme. He used my account to message the administrator, and then… you understand. (Nod)
[Azhdaha]: What nonsense are you spouting? How could I mess around with your account right under your nose? (Annoyed)
[Keqing]: (Facepalm)
[Osial]: Brilliant! Can I register Azhdaha's name?! (Rubbing hands)
[Dvalin]: Hehe! I grabbed Barbatos's name. (Smirk)
[Jean]: It's over… I can already imagine how chaotic the internet will be. (Facepalm)
[Venti]: Why don't you dare register Brother Gu's name? (Smirk)
[Kaeya]: That's just asking for death. (Smirk)
[Azhdaha]: Damn it! Old man, you're really going to use that 'Venti' account to trash-talk me and ruin his reputation?! (Sweating emoji)
[Xiao]: This internet is… truly fascinating… (Brain melting)
"Hahaha… why are they so funny?!"
Furina clutched her stomach, laughing so hard she could barely breathe.
"Maybe… living longer gives you more experience—and more ways to come up with ridiculous antics?" Focalors guessed, though not very confidently.
"Drop the 'maybe.'" Gu Chen shook his head with a smile. "Those guys are just like that. Once they hide behind an identity and put on a mask, each one gets wilder than the last!"
"I'm going to use the name 'Focalors'!" Furina raised her hand.
"Nope~"
Focalors smiled and shook her finger.
"We'll discuss that later. It's time to rest now—go to bed early. They're coming over tomorrow."
The next day.
Without any strenuous activity, the three of them woke up early.
After discussing it with Furina, Gu Chen decided to place the portal in the hallway—it would be convenient for taking the elevator downstairs and returning directly to Furina's room.
After constructing an elegant doorway on the wall, Gu Chen said, "I'll go over and adjust it first. Wait for me."
"Okay!" Big Furina and Little Furina nodded eagerly.
Gu Chen stepped forward. Ripples appeared around him as if he were stepping into water, and he vanished.
Liyue, Yujing Terrace, Gu Residence.
He emerged from the ripples.
The temperature here was a few degrees lower than Fontaine.
Looking around, the courtyard was empty.
He walked through it toward the bedroom.
As he turned the corner, he saw Raiden Makoto and Buye'er walking out of the room. They smiled gently upon seeing him.
"You're back?"
"I'm back."
Gu Chen stepped forward, embracing his two gentle wives. "I stayed away longer this time. I'll try not to let it happen again."
"It's fine," Buye'er shook her head softly.
"Go check on those lazy ones first. We really need to discipline Hu Tao—so energetic, yet she still kicks off her blanket when she sleeps," Makoto said with a smile, pushing him inside.
Entering the bedroom—
Since the bed had been removed earlier, the entire room was essentially a large cushioned sleeping area.
Raiden Ei wasn't there—likely using the Shogun's body to work at Tenshukaku. Ganyu was probably at Yuehai Pavilion.
Hu Tao occupied a large portion of the bed, her head leaning against Lumine's. The two looked like bullies, forcing Paimon into a corner.
Paimon, curled up in the corner, hugged a pillow, drooling in her sleep.
Guizhong, at least, had decent sleeping posture, covered with a small blanket, her bare feet exposed.
Even with the three of them entering, none of the four woke up. They probably wouldn't rise until ten or eleven.
Gu Chen walked over, grabbed Guizhong's foot, and lightly tickled it.
"Mmm… stop it… don't…"
She turned over, lightly kicked a few times, and pulled her foot back.
He then poked Hu Tao's soft thigh.
No response.
He poked again—she groggily grabbed a blanket and covered herself tightly.
Looking at Lumine, he gave her a light pat. She shifted slightly, then went still again.
Finally, he picked up Paimon and shook her—she didn't react at all.
"That won't work," Makoto said with a smile.
Buye'er added, "You have to do it like this."
She raised her voice slightly: "A-Chen is back~"
Instantly, four pairs of eyes snapped open.
"Where?!"
Hu Tao shot up, leapt onto Gu Chen, and clung to him, grinning mischievously. "Second consultant—alive!"
"I was wondering who slapped me…"
Lumine yawned and stretched. "What's this? Finally remembered you've got wives at home?"
There was quite a bit of resentment in her tone.
Holding Hu Tao with one arm, Gu Chen pulled Lumine over and kissed her.
Old couples had no need for shyness. Lumine smacked her lips, still unsatisfied. "Just one? That's boring. Give me one that stretches!"
"Wait till tonight."
Not playing favorites, Gu Chen kissed each of them before saying, "Later I'll modify the Moon Gate to connect to the Palais Mermonia and the Knights of Favonius headquarters."
"Oh? More little sisters coming to pay respects?" Lumine sat cross-legged on the bed. Her sleepy aura instantly turned into regal authority, like an empress of the harem.
"Ha~" Guizhong rubbed her eyes. "Then what are we waiting for? Let me see them!"
In the courtyard of Gu Residence.
The Moon Gate had undergone many modifications.
With a wave of his hand, Gu Chen completed the adjustments, double-checking everything before saying, "I'll go get them."
Soon, he returned with the two Furinas.
"Wow, so this is Gu Residence!" Furina looked around.
It wasn't the extravagant gold-and-jade palace she imagined—it had a distinctly Liyue style, full of historical charm.
"Fufu~~"
Lumine hugged Furina with a bright smile.
"G!"
Furina teased, "Her Majesty the Empress!"
"Hmph!"
Lumine let go and placed her hands on her hips proudly. "Fufu is so cute. From now on, I'll protect you at home!"
"What about me?" Focalors leaned in.
"I'll protect you too! We're all sisters here!" Lumine grinned and hugged her as well.
"That girl…" Buye'er chuckled.
"You guys chat first, I'll go to Mondstadt to pick someone up," Gu Chen said.
"Go, go." Lumine waved him off, pulling the two Furinas along. "Come sit—everyone here is a lady of the house. Get familiar with the place!"
"Little steward, bring food!"
"Coming!" Paimon immediately flew over with a pile of snacks.
Mondstadt.
Last time, he left too quickly for Fontaine and ended up staying there for days.
He had already informed Jean and Barbara. They were waiting in the Knights' office.
When he arrived, Jean was still busy writing documents.
Seeing him enter, Barbara smiled. "Sister, take a break."
"Mm."
Jean set down her work and stood. "We're going to Gu Residence to meet the others?"
"It's not 'Gu Residence,'" Gu Chen shook his head. "It's our home. Don't be nervous—Furina and Focalors just arrived too."
"I'm not nervous…" Jean shook her head.
"Let's go. Tonight, everyone's having dinner together."
They passed through the portal and returned.
Ganyu had taken leave and come back. Raiden Ei, using the Shogun's body, was discussing desserts with Furina.
"Jean Danchou!!"
"Barbara!!"
Lumine pounced over with a mischievous grin.
"Come on! We're planning a huge dinner tonight!" she dragged them away.
Watching his wives chat lively, Paimon flew over with a worried look.
"What's wrong?" Gu Chen asked.
"So many people… you've been gone for days… they all look like wolves and tigers… I'm a bit worried about you," Paimon said seriously.
Gu Chen stroked his chin. "Do they all have to go at once? Just a few each day should be fine."
"That's how you solve it?!" Paimon suddenly understood.
"Of course," Gu Chen shrugged.
