"Hmm…" Lord Calder made a low sound that sounded like a hum. He looked in thought as he stared at me. "No one is going to deny that is a strange scent for an Omega."
Ila turned away from me and my heart started to hammer in my chest.

I suddenly felt so silly.
No matter how much I had tried to hide it, anyone, much less these Supreme Alphas, would be able to tell that I wasn't an Omega. At the very least, I was something they weren't familiar with and they had already noticed.
I guess this was also a plausible explanation for Kael to actually bring me into Fresna.
Ila then added. "Also. After the descriptor I was given, I told them we had found a dying Omega and buried her on our soil. I was instructed by my Supreme Alpha to state this as he suspected foul play."
Murmurs spread through the audience and Damon's eyes widened.
