Goku has officially become a demon slayer after passing the final exam. The boy started his journey alone. As he approached a forest, Goku scanned the forest, searching for any sign of threat. Where he finds none, he sat on the floor, leaning his back on a tree. "Now that I'm a demon slayer... I'm curious to see what my missions will give me..." he sighed, staring at the grass. "Caw!" noised Rin, his Kasugai crow. Then, in the middle of the forest and with the moonlight shining, Goku fell asleep. Five days later, Goku reamined in that forest, waiting for his first mission. "I thought being a demon slayer was cool... But it's been five days and still no mission..." mumbled Goku, eating an apple. Suddenly, his crow Rin finally spoke up. "Caw! First mission! Demon in the village of Nasugaya! Caw!" she noised, swining her wings. "Speak of the devil... Finally, a mission..." said Goku, standing up and grabbing his katana. "Village of Nasugaya, you said? Fine. Let's go". Then, Goku made his way to Nasugaya. While walking, Goku questioned himself. (Would I really be able to take down my first real demon? Or will I die on the first mission...?) thought the boy. (Maybe, Flame Breathing could help me out... I hope this demon is not too powerful...) he continued to think. As Goku's steps continued to get closer and closer to Nasugaya, he suddenly heard noises. "I'm close... I have to hurry..." said Goku, as he started to run. Finally, he arrived at Nasugaya. The villagers stared at him once he arrived. "Are you... a demon slayer?" asked a little girl. The girl had short black hair, blue eyes and a white and red haori. "Yep, ma'am. Where's the demon who's bothering you?" asked Goku. "We... don't know. He hid once he knew a demon slayer was coming for him" the girl said. "Fine. I guess I have to wait until moonlight, then..." said Goku, staring at the sky. "You... can stay in my house in the meantime, slayer" she proposed. "Thanks for the hospitality, ma'am..." said Goku, as he entered the house. "Don't call me ma'am. My name is Fumiko" the girl said. "What's yours?". "Goku" he replied. "Just Goku" he specificated. "Oh, fine. Have a seat, Goku" Fumiko said. As Goku sat down, picking down his katana and stuffs, he asks a question. "So... how did this demon arrived here? And what does he do?" he said , trying to gather information for the upcoming battle. "This demon arrived year last night, and attacked the village. Fortunately, he didn't have much time before sunlight, and after eating at least twenty of the villagers, he hid from the sun. What's sure is that he's still hisin this village, but nobody knows why. His powers are the Cryokinesis, an ice-based Blood Art Demon, which is the equivalent of the Breathing Styles you demon slayers use" explained Fumiko. "I see..." mumbled Goku, staring at the ceiling. Goku passed the rest of the day in Nasugaya, searching for any sign of the demon. A man, Tsukiko, approached Goku meanwhile he was scanning a wall. "Hey. You're the demon slayer who came here to kill the demon?" asked Tsukiko. "Exactly, sir" said Goku, without turning and continuing to stare at the wall. "Name's Goku" he introduces himself. "Are you... sure you can kill that demon?" asked Tsukiko. "Well, I'm a newbie, but I'm pretty skilled with the sword and with the Flame Breathing. So don't worry, I'll save you from this demon" said Goku.
Finally, the sunlight started to fade, and the moonlight started to set. "It's time..." said Goku, holding his katana. "Did you discover where the demon is?" asked Fumiko. "I did" replied Goku. The boy reached a box made with wood. Goku kicked the box, as it fell and rolled down a few feets away. "I know you're hiding there" said Goku. Suddenly, the box spoke. "Good sense of direction, slayer" someone said, as the box opened, revealing the demon inside. "Nice to meet you. My name is Heisuke" said the demon. "Mine is Goku" said the boy. Heisuke had green hair, violet eyes, long claws and blood at the corners of his lips. "That blood on your lips.. Is the one from the people you ate?" asked Goku. "You're right, slayer" replied Heisuke. "Fine. Let's not waste any time then" said Goku, protracting his katana towards the demon. "Let us begin..." said Heisuke. The demon rushed forward, aiming to wound Goku with his claw. But the boy dodged easily. (He's fast... But I'm as fast as him...) thought Goku. The boy regained his composure and swinged his katana towards Heisuke, who managed to dodge. "Blood Demon Art: Cryokinesis!" beamed Heisuke. Suddenly, ice started to create from his hands, as an ice spear appeared right in his hands. (Just like Fumiko said... But I have Flame Breathing, I can melt that ice...) thought Goku. The boy rushed towards Heisuke, who attacked him with his spear, almost stabbing Goiku. As he dodged, Goku counter-attacked. "Flame Breathing: Third Form -- Blazing Universe!" he beamed. Flames wrapped around Goku's katana's blade, the extremely high temperature melting Heisuke's spear. But the demon managed to dodge. "A Flame Breathing user... Very cool, I must say..." sighed Heisuke. "Do not distract, Heisuke!" said Goku, attacking Heisuke once again. This time, the attack lands, and Heisuke's left arm got cut clean off. "Ah-ah! No problem, I can regenerate it!" beamed Heisuke, smiling, as his arm regenerated. However, Goku didn't gave up. He kept attacking Heisuke, and kept using strategy to try to overwhelm him. After a while, Goku started to feeltired. (I have to hurry, if I want to win...) he thought. Heisuke jumped back, standin on a rooftop. "You're worth killing, slayer. I guess I can reveal my trump card now..." said Heisuke. Goku's eyes widened. "Trump card? You had a trump card all this time?" he asked. "Yep" said Heisuke. "Blood Demon Art: Clonation!" beamed Heisuke. Suddenly, Heisuke's real body disappeared, and other four clones, indentical compared to the original Heisuke, appeared. "Four? Damn... This might get troublesome..." said Goku. "I can't give up, though" he then said, smiling and preparing for Round Two.
As Heisuke's four clones approached Goku, he rushed to them as well, in sign of challenge. "Blazing Universe!" he said, and two of the four clones disappeared. (I guess if I find the real Heisuke and kill him, all these clones will surely disappear...) he thought. Suddenly, other six clones appeared from nowhere, and Goku jumped back, dodging. "He keeps summoning them... I have to find him..." said Goku. And then, while defending from Heisuke's clones, Goku began to search for the real Heisuke. Suddenly, Goku heard a noise. (There he is!) he realized. But then, as soon as he arrived, one of Heisuke's clones hit him in the back. Goku coughjed blood. "Begone!" beamed Goku, killing the clone. Then, the boy rushed towards a box, the same where he found Heisuke first. "Blazing Universe!" he beamed, once again. The box shattered, revealing the true Heisuke. "Surprise!" beamed Goku, as he slammed his katana against Heisuke's neck. However, Heisuke's neck was resistent, and he did not fall immediately. But Goku didn't either. "Flame Breathing: Third Form -- Blazing Universe!"". And with a final, exhausting form, Goku beheaded Heisuke. The clones immediately faded, and Heisuke's body did the same. Only his head remained. As Heisuke's head began to fade away, he had the time to ask one final question. "I... I lost... But at least, tell me, slayer... Have I been a good opponent?" he asked. Goku slowly turned and looked at him in the eyes. "You have" he replied. Then, Heisuke smiled, satisfied. At least, he died against someone who recognizes his strength. And then, Heisuke's head completely faded, and Goku's victory became absolute. In the aftermath, Fumiko approached Goku. "Did you... killed him?" she asked. "Yes" replied Goku. Suddenly, the villagers started to cheer Goku's name. "How can we repay you?" asked Fumiko. "Just something to eat and a place to sleep. That's enough for me..." said Goku. Then, he followed Fumiko inside her room once again. Them, he adjusted his stuff in his temporary room and looked outside the window. (I'm a bit injured... Tomorrow, I'll meet a doctor... For now, let's just think about sleep...) he thought. Then, without even noticing, Goku fell asleep.
