Suddenly, Goku woke up. But the location was... different. The boy definitely wasn't on the train -- He was sitting on the snow, a crimson scarf wrapped around his neck. (What the hell is happening...) thought Goku. He stood up, shaking his head and looking around. The location was very similar to the places he used to visit three years ago, when he was just a boy who sold coal. Suddenly, behind him, Goku heard a voice. "Welcome home, Goku-kun." Goku turned, and when he saw the owner of the voice, Goku's eyes began to shine. It was a man: Long, crimson hair, Hanafuda earrings, a red haori, and a red katana. Goku recognized him -- That man was Yoriichi Tsugikuni, his father. "O... Otosan..." he whispered. "Yeah, it's me, my son" said Yoriichi. "Are you... really my father?" asked Goku, with the eyes full of tears. "Yes, it really is me" said Yoriichi. In that moment, Goku couldn't contain his emotions. He dashed towards Yoriichi, hugging him tight. "Why... Why did you abandon me?" he asked. "For your sake, son" replied Yoriichi. "Now let's go, your mother is waiting for us." In that moment, Goku's eyes widened: For the first time, he'll see his mother. But, in Goku's mind, something was off. How was it possible? Weren't Yoriichi and Uta dead? In that moment, Goku didn't think about it: The only thing that mattered in that moment was that Goku finally had the opportunity to hug his father. Goku was accompanied home by Yoriichi, who opened the door. "Uta, we're home," he said. "Welcome back, Yoriichi-kun and Goku-kun," said Uta. She had black hair, big grey eyes and a white headband on the head. (So... This is how my okasan looks like...) thought Goku. Without saying nothing, Goku walked towards his mother and hugged her. "Oh, you're so cute, Goku-kun..." she whispered, hugging Goku back. "He seems pretty emotional today. I don't know why..." said Yoriichi. And so, Goku sat down, beside his dad and mom. "Let's eat, family" said Yoriichi. "Yes, otosan..." whispered Goku, starting to eat. (I'm here... With otosan and okasan, but... Something doesn't feel right...) thought Goku, taking a look at Uta. Meanwhile, in the real world, the four kids tied their own wrists to Goku's, Rengoku's, Zenitsu's and Inosuke's wrists, in order to enter inside their dream and shatter their edge of the dream. Meanwhile, on the roof of the train, there was a demon -- but not an ordinary one. This demon had medium-length hair, in a elegant dress and with mouths on the backpalms of his hands: Enmu, Lower Moon One. "They all fell asleeo, just as planned. Hashira or not, once you're asleep, you're so different from a baby" he said. "And then, that kid, Kamado Tanjiro... He ordered me to kill him..." he then whispered. However, Enmu didn't knew Tanjiro wasn't on the train. But one thing is guaranteed: Goku will not give peace to Enmu, once they've met. Inside the train, instead, the first girl entered inside Rengoku's dream. The Flame Hashira was dreaming of training his younger brother to become a Hashira. As the little girl ran towards the extremity of the area, the landscape kept going, but the accessible area was done. And so, the little girl extracted a syringe and used it to break the limit and enter inside the edge of Rengoku's dream. When she entered, she noticed the entire edge was sorrounded by flames. Then, when the girl was about to destroy the spiritual core -- which was a red sphere -- she felt like someone gripping her neck. And actually, in the real world, Rengoku suddenly woke up and gripped the girl's neck. Though, he was still asleep. Maybe, in that moment, Rengoku was driven by pure survival instinct, even asleep.
Meanwhile, inside Goku's dream, the little boy was doing a origami with Yoriichi. The two of them were in front of each other, sitting on the snow, with their legs crossed. "I would never thought you liked Origami, son" said Yoriichi. "No problem, otosan. Anytime..." said Goku. At some point, Uta came out the door. "Goku-kun, Would you mind going to the stream to get some water?" she asked. "That's fine, Okasan!" exclaimed Goku. Thus, the boy took a bucket and made his way on the stream, Howver, suddenly, when he watched his own image in the water, something seemed to call him. "Wake up! It's a dream!" it said. Then, Goku realized -- Now everything makes sense. His father, his mother, this life... Everything is just a dream. "It was my own reflection to tell me that..." he muttered. "I think I understand how I can wake up in this situation..." he said. Then, Goku grabbed his katana and placed him on his neck. "I have to slice me head off, so I can wake up...!" he whispered. And then, Goku did so. The boy's eyes snapped open. "WAH!" he shouted, suddenly sitting up. "Am I... Am I awake?" he asked. Then, he turned to his right, and saw Nezuko. "Uh? So you're awake too!" he asked. Nezuko nodded. "Fine..." said Goku. Suddenly, he noticed that the tied rope had been burnt, probably by Nezuko. Then, Goku saw a kid. "So... You woke up" he said. "Yes. Your plan was to destroy my spiritual core while I was asleep, right?" asked Goku. "How did you know?" asked the boy. "I saw you while I was making my way to the stream. You're not so stealth, honestly." Then, Goku paused for a bit. "Oh, anyway, who're you?" he then asked. "No one. I had to do what you just said, but... Seems like I failed. And the other three kids here doesn't seem to be doing better than me" replied the boy. "Oh, I see..." sighed Goku. Then, he turned back to Nezuko, who had shrunk like a little kid. "Nezuko-chan, listen. It's clear that a demon is in here, probably on the roof. I'm going straight for that demon. You think about waking the others up, okay?" he explained. "Mh!" mumbled Nezuko, nodding. "I guess it's a yes..." sighed Goku again. Then, the boy grabbed his katana and opened the window. Then, he grabbed on the outside of the window, and with an acrobacy, he ended up on the roof. Nezuko followed him, but she remained on the train. "Go wake the others up, Nezuko-chan! I'll handle this demon..." he repeated. Nezuko nodded again and turned back. "Now' let's see who's the demon who made me remember I have no family..." said Goku, with a bit of rage in his tone. The battle is about to begin.
