Chapter 4 - Gestalt 1.4

(Note: Change to the Gacha and Celestial Gambler. Yeah, fuck that word count power shit. He gets his powers randomly now. Though there is a hard cap of 1000 CP. Can't get anything higher at all.)

February 2010

Sukuna

[Celestial Gambler back online and has fully integrated with the user's soul. Soul distortment patch has been fixed, and four abilities will be randomly chosen and given as compensation for the [DATA] corruption. Change in [POWER COLLECTION]: you only get one power every six months after [REBOOT].]

[Resolve]

[Rolling]

[Teleport]

|Legendary Ability|

You can teleport, and everything that entails. As long as you are properly aware of the location or its coordinates, you can instantly teleport to it. Teleportation is instant and scales slightly with distance, but even a beginner could skip countries. Depends on your energy reserves. Overuse can cause vertigo.

[Jogo]

|Epic Projection|

Jujutsu Kaisen - Jogo is the Cursed Spirit born from the concept of wildfires and volcanoes. As a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, Jogo is incredibly skilled in Jujutsu and has considerable power. His power allows him to create and control fire and lava, as well as other flame-based constructs. He retains his memories and instincts till after his death to Sukuna. As a projection, he is fairly loyal and can't harm you directly, but do not disrespect him, as loyalty can be lost.

This also gives you access to Cursed Energy and infuses a compatible Cursed Technique.

Cursed Technique: Sky Manipulation.

[Ultra-High Settings]

400 CP

While many may wish they had the beastly computers needed to run games on max settings, many don't. But why should we limit the beauty of your art for such a mundane reason? Your art and animations are such that no matter how hi-res the models or complex the animation, it will have a minimal, if any, impact on how well your game runs. This also applies to other items and products you help create, meaning even the shittiest of computers or consoles can run your game at the highest resolution without suffering too much, while products like swords can have designs that might seem to hinder a user's ability to swing them when in fact they're just as usable as a normal one.

[First Thinker]

600 CP

Now we're getting somewhere. Among your particular species, you're a revolutionary one-of-a-kind mind that calling you a genius would be severely downplaying your potential impact on the universe. You are a paragon of knowledge and technology among your kind, to the point that when they say 'on the shoulders of giants,' you are very much that giant. A human at this level could advance the technology level of Earth by a dozen levels in less than a few years, while a Galvan with this level would be one of the few minds Azmuth would call an equal. Whatever the case, you know how to innovate and advance technology light years ahead of the norm, elevating your species potentially millennia ahead of where they are now. Things like faster-than-light travel, laser weapons, completed starships, and techno-organic constructs? For many, those things are groundbreaking and new. For you, they're only the tip of what you can accomplish.

Arrrghhhhhh!!! Fuck!

Why did this shit come back while I was sleeping? Couldn't this fucking shard wait till I woke up, for fuck's sake?

I quickly ran through all the information crammed into my head and immediately forgave the alien parasite lodged in my brain.

These rolls are insane!

Like, truly fucking insane. I can feel my mind expand and somehow my soul expand drastically. My mind working at speeds I had not even considered possible. Concepts like lasers, spatial phenomena, and even time machines are not beyond my reach anymore.

The perks First Thinker and Ultra-High Settings work together so well that together they have become more than the sum of their parts. Nothing I make will ever be too cumbersome for its user. It's crazy just thinking of it.

Already, jutsus from Naruto I saw and remember, I can with just a little research figure them out and even improve on them. Creating new ones will not be hard at all.

Even adapting techniques and ideas from other series and even this world is not out of my reach. With the infusion of Cursed Energy alongside my first projection, Jogo the Disaster Curse, a Cursed Technique was engraved on my brain.

Sky Manipulation.

Truthfully, it's not as overpowered as getting Shrine or Limitless, especially with me gaining the Rikugan. It's still dangerous as fuck when pushed.

The name might be Sky Manipulation, but it's truly a limited spatial manipulation technique. Something the Rikugan will be able to streamline and elevate to new heights alongside teleportation.

With the Rikugan's fine calculation and control, even the vertigo it warns about will probably never happen, as the energy needed to teleport is now so small due to the perfect control of my energy flow that it renders the consequences moot.

Another thing I noticed quickly is that my talent has been boosted to levels I didn't even think possible by First Thinker. In all aspects, my talent has been taken far beyond what I had before.

If I was Nobara Kugisaki before, now I am Dabura. There's nothing I can't do if I put in a little effort.

First Thinker might be the greatest perk that will probably ever impact me like this. It's truly amazing.

A thought crossed my mind about a very effective way to gather resources.

"No. I can't—"

I playfully stood up from my bed and staggered towards my bathroom window.

Looking at my reflection and seeing it look a bit disheveled, I continued my tirade.

"They haven't been infected by that horror yet."

"Its crimes… it surpasses even the Endbringers. Can I… should I really release such a curse upon this world?"

"The horrors of the Gacha still haunt me to this day. Alas, needs must."

"I'm sorry, world. I tried."

The Nasuverse is going to make its entry into this sad universe.

But only after I make an FPS shooter game. Make it similar to early COD, just add rogue capes into the mix, making everything more complicated. The cosmetics will be cheap too, using loot boxes with a very complex random chance mechanic that will hinder even the most powerful of precogs.

I think I'll call it For Honor.

The only true way to make shitloads of money from this will be through microtransactions.

Damn, forgive me.

For I have sinned.

Two weeks later

It took two weeks to build servers that can handle billions of people, top-tier data servers, and create massive content for For Honor. It will run on smartphones, PC, and the Dragon Station.

This is it. The true beginning of my financial freedom and my slow independence from The Protectorate.

Launch.

And so it begins.

Kid Win

Patrolling with Sukuna is a daunting task on its own.

I sneaked a peek at his "hero" form. A seven-foot man wearing a high-tech suit made of something he calls "unstable molecules" which protect him and adapt to his forms and changes.

I still don't know how he managed to get an all-black suit with a mask not too dissimilar to Oni Lee's passed through the PR department.

When he joined initially, we were skeptical about him. Maybe he was a Yangban operative, but surprisingly, he did not lie.

He really was a dimensional refugee.

We even found his counterpart in our world. Still a child living with his father in Portugal, he is currently being subtly protected by a small team of PRT agents sent by Director Costa-Brown.

When he heard about that, he seemed to be pissed for some reason but did not say anything.

A voice pulled me from my thoughts.

"Hey, Kid. Call it in. I can see Lung fighting with Purity and Hookwolf near the abandoned cinema on 31st Street," said Sukuna as he started flying.

He turned to me and asked,

"Do you want to come? You might learn something."

Of course I was coming. Although I only had two laser stun guns and shoes that stick to any surface, I am still a hero.

He seemed to have seen my expression, and a wry smile came to life on his face.

"Hmmm, might as well try out my new powers then. Brace."

He touched me, and immediately our surroundings changed within the blink of an eye. Where we were walking near some stores signing autographs and giving high fives to fans, now we are on an apartment building a small distance away from the brawl between three villains.

How?

He must have seen something on my face, as he smiled and said,

"Got some new powers. Near-unrestricted teleportation ability is one of them. Hmmm, you know what? Record this fight. I do not want to power test ever again, but the PRT should still know when I get a few abilities."

"And also, here."

He threw a bracelet at me that I caught smoothly thanks to the numerous hand-eye drills we run as Wards. It started beeping and latched onto my hand.

"That's a bracelet of mine that has five charges of energy that mimic my teleportation ability. Use it to reposition. Now watch and learn."

He immediately disappeared, uncaring of the kind of heart attack he almost gave me.

He is also a power Tinker? He can make devices that mimic power expressions. And he's just handing it out like candy.

"Kid Win! Come in. You are not on your patrol route. Is everything okay?" said Vista as I could hear her through the comms.

"Yeah. Please activate the highest level of video definition for my body cam. Sukuna got new powers and wants us to see them in action. I already know he has teleportation."

"Damn, already stealing my glow? Hmph. It's activated now. Patching Director Piggot and Armsmaster in. Sending notifications to Battery and Dauntless as backups."

Sukuna

This is what I was made for. The tinkering is cool and all, but battle… battle is something else entirely.

It feeds my being. Completes me in a way I did not know I needed.

I immediately appeared next to Purity before she could even perceive me. I punched her and also teleported her to the Boat Graveyard.

I have been living for a reason to clear it out, but it's surrounded by so much red tape that I am unable to just go and clear it up and let the maritime sector of this city recover.

The sudden entrance of a new player caused a jolt to the villains, a mistake I immediately punished by using my chakra to speed up myself, turning into a blur, then punching Hookwolf on his chin while teleporting him right on top of Purity in the Boat Graveyard, and in the same instant teleporting to Lung in his five-meter dragon form, creating a sword with a sharpness effect, stabbing him in the eye, and teleporting him to meet his fellow racists.

I paused to take a look around me and saw so many dead bodies and destroyed property. I decided I was going to make them pay a little more.

"Jogo. I have need of you," I said as my shadow started behaving unnaturally and the Disaster Curse, Jogo, walked out of it, holding a pipe smoking some strain we took from some Merchants earlier in the month.

"Boy, what is it this time?"

"I need your help for this next fight. It might get testy. This is the strongest person in the Bay. I want to battle him with only Cursed Energy and my Cursed Technique."

Jogo blew out some smoke before answering once more,

"You finally took my lesson to heart. You have too many powers on your hands. You haven't truly mastered any to even close to their zeniths, despite your talent. So, for how long will you only use Cursed Energy and Blade Blacksmith?"

"Six months. Enough time to grow and tap into their true potential. Who knows, maybe I'll be blessed by the sparks of black tonight."

"Remember to only use your teleportation for travel. Let's go now."

I blinked out of existence and opened my eyes to the sight of Lung already growing to ten meters, standing alongside Hookwolf and Purity as they stood together looking at me with venom in their eyes.

A smile crept its way up my face as I looked at them. A thought ran through my head, one I mulled over quickly before deciding on it permanently, as it would further show my conviction and boost me further in the realm of Jujutsu.

In exchange for not being able to use any other of my energy systems excluding teleportation, Jujutsu, and my Sacred Gears, my talent and comprehension of Jujutsu will gain a three-time boost for three months.

A chain of "something" wrapped itself on my heart and settled.

Accepted.

I looked at Lung and the other Nazis and said,

"Let's fucking dance, shall we?"

The battle erupted immediately as we all ran at each other with the goal of beating one another into a pulp.
