A Queen Beedrill's egg?
Ash remembered the Pidgey egg he'd caught earlier.
He had been checking it every day, wondering when that first crack would appear and new life would push its way out.
But a Queen Beedrill's egg… that was something else entirely.
Normal Beedrill didn't have queens. Not in the anime. Not in the games. Everyone knew that.
The only queen bee Pokémon was Vespiquen, elegant and regal, commanding her Combee drones with quiet authority.
But Vespiquen was a different line, a different species altogether.
So in this world, they must exist.
The mission details had been precise: a Queen Beedrill's egg (shiny) and, the future ruler of the hive. One that would grow into the next generation's leader.
Interesting.
Very interesting.
Only five days to complete it. Tight deadline, but not impossible. Beedrill swarms were no joke.
But doable. If he played it smart. If he used the right tricks.
Five days… probably tied to the hatching cycle.
The Pidgey egg had a thirty-day window; that one would hatch in twenty-five days from now if the pattern held.
A slow grin spread across his face.
Nice.
The system wasn't random. It worked with real biology, real timelines.
Ash might be wrong, of course. But he'd find out soon enough.
Now… to find the nest that held the egg.
Lost in thought, his mind still drifting through visions of that future Queen Beedrill, Ash's fingers still moved lazily between Daisy's thighs.
Slow, deliberate circles traced over her slick clit, drawing soft, breathless whimpers from her lips.
Her inner walls fluttered and clenched around the two fingers buried deep inside her, warm and wet, pulling him in with every gentle thrust.
Daisy's hips rolled slowly against his hand, chasing the pleasure, her cheeks flushed, eyes half-lidded in hazy surrender.
It felt peaceful: warm, private, and too perfect.
He didn't hear the rustle in the grass until it was too late.
A sharp twitch of leaves snapped his head up. Danger hit him like cold water. Heart pounding, he froze. Something was coming.
A Beedrill burst from the grass, buzzing angrily, stingers raised high towards them.
It dove straight at them, wings a furious blur.
Ash didn't waste a second.
A Heart Ball materialized in Ash's free hand in an instant.
"Pikachu, go! Thunderbolt!"
Pink light flared brightly as Pikachu emerged in a low, ready crouch, ears twitching, gaze locked on the attacker.
"Pika-CHUUU!"
A bright bolt of yellow lightning burst from Pikachu's cheeks, cutting through the air with a sharp crack.
It hit the Beedrill with full force, surrounding it in a fierce glow of sizzling energy.
The Beedrill let out a sharp cry, twisting in the air as electricity raced through its body.
Its wings jerked wildly before it dropped, hitting the grass with a heavy thud.
Thin smoke rose from its scorched body as it twitched once, then lay still, out cold.
But the victory was short-lived.
The air hummed with a growing vibration, low at first, then swelling into a roar.
More wings.
Dozens.
The swarm was coming.
Daisy's hand squeezed Ash's tightly, her face going pale as she stared at the trees. Her body shook against him, full of fear.
Ash wouldn't let any one near his women.
With a quick flick, a Slave Ball appeared in his free hand.
"Daisy, return."
A soft pink glow wrapped around her, pulling her safely inside just as dark shadows filled the sky.
Then they came, a swirling swarm of angry Beedrills bursting.
Their wings buzzed like thunder, and their sharp stingers glinted as they dove in from every direction, blocking the sunlight.
Pikachu spun around, cheeks crackling with sparks.
A powerful Thunderbolt shot out, bright yellow lightning that struck all at once.
Some crashed to the ground.
Ash reacted fast, throwing Poké Balls from his belt one after another.
Red beams flashed out, pulling the stunned Beedrill inside. In seconds, he had caught three Beedrill.
But it wasn't enough. The swarm kept coming, an endless wave of fury.
They couldn't win this fight outright.
"Pikachu, we're getting out, run!"
Pikachu jumped onto his shoulder in an instant.
Ash bolted forward, crashing through tall grass and bushes.
His lungs burned, branches whipped his face and the swarm's angry buzz chased them without stopping.
After a while, the buzzing stopped. They burst into a wide clearing, far from the hive's territory.
Ash stopped, breathing hard, sweat dripping down his face.
Pikachu hopped down beside him, alert.
They were safe, for now.
After catching his breath, Ash glanced around the clearing one last time.
No buzzing.
No shadows in the sky.
The swarm wasn't following.
He lifted Pikachu's Heart Ball with a small, grateful smile.
"Nice job, buddy. Get some rest."
A soft pink beam pulled Pikachu inside.
Alone now, Ash slipped quietly back toward the danger zone, moving light and careful.
It didn't take long to find the three Poké Balls lying in the grass where he'd thrown them earlier.
He picked them up.
Then he turned and retreated to a safer spot, mind already racing ahead to the next move.
Ash was planning to use the same trick this time on the hive, but since Beedrill weren't friendly like Pidgeotto, he needed an extra method.
He pulled up the system shop, scrolling quickly to the item he wanted.

Perfect.
Ash released the three captured Beedrill into the small clearing.
They emerged from the Poké Balls with a sharp buzz, wings beating fast, stingers half-raised, eyes locked on him warily.
They had recovered fully by now; As it had taken Ash almost an hour to circle back safely.
But the moment he set out shallow dishes brimming with golden honey and piles of sweet Pokémon food, their aggression faded.
They dove in, drinking and eating happily.
While they were distracted, Ash moved calmly.
He slipped a thin rope around two of their slender necks, securing a small black bomb like a lightweight pendant.
The Beedrill noticed, of course they did, tilting their heads at the strange weight, but the food was too good.
A lazy wing-flick or two was their only protest before they went right back to eating.
Perfect. They weren't fighting it.
He could trigger the bombs anytime, anywhere, through the system. Remote and clean.
Once their bellies were full, the three Beedrill hovered lazily.
Ash gave a soft command.
"Go home."
The Beedrill tilted their heads for a moment, then turned and buzzed off toward the hive, the small bombs still tied loosely around their necks like harmless collars.
They flew straight back to their nest, unaware of the surprise they carried.
Ash watched as they left.
Everything was in place.
Now he just had to wait for the right moment to pull the trigger.
