A few minutes later, three police cars came roaring in with sirens screaming.
Auntie nearly exploded on the spot. "Are they pigs?! Sirens?! They're basically announcing 'Police incoming, everyone run!' I swear, real raids are always silent! Who the hell is leading this team tonight?!"
Lian, strangely, had calmed down a lot. "Auntie, the private rooms are super soundproof. You can't hear anything from outside. I don't think anyone inside will notice."
As they spoke, the cars stopped and officers poured out.
Auntie pulled Lian forward to greet them.
The lead officer was tall, muscular, and ridiculously handsome, like he had walked straight off a superhero movie poster.
The moment Auntie saw who it was, her whole fierce attitude melted away. She suddenly turned shy, half-hid behind Lian, and gently pushed him forward like a human shield.
The officer, Captain Ryan, recognized her instantly. He smiled warmly, nodded, then turned to Lian with total respect.
"Ana, everything you told Captain on the phone is true, right?"
The usually bold and loud Auntie suddenly turned into a blushing schoolgirl. "I… I didn't see anything myself… my nephew did…"
She hid completely behind Lian and kept nudging him forward.
Captain Ryan didn't treat Lian like a kid at all. He gave him a crisp salute and started asking questions seriously.
"You saw it by chance while using your phone in the emergency staircase? Understood… that private room is directly opposite the emergency exit, correct?"
After confirming the exact floor and room number, he signaled his team to move.
Auntie suddenly ran up beside him. "Ryan, why are you personally leading the team tonight? Don't you only handle major criminal cases?"
Captain Ryan kept walking upstairs while answering casually, "Just got back from a big case, was reporting to the chiefs. Then Captain got your call. Ana, you really need to break this habit, next time just dial 110, don't call personal numbers. The chiefs were right there; they didn't say anything, but I bet they're side-eyeing Captian now."
Lian, walking behind, clearly saw Auntie secretly stick out her tongue like a naughty little girl.
Ryan continued, "I had just finished my report when I heard it was you who called it in, so I volunteered to lead the team myself."
Auntie's eyes lit up. She immediately made her request. "Ryan… when we open the door, can my nephew and I go in first for just a second?"
He turned, eyebrow raised. "What's wrong?"
Auntie lowered her voice. "My nephew thinks he might know someone inside…"
Captain Ryan instantly understood. "Got it. Group sex isn't a heavy crime. You have your badge, right?"
"Yes, yes!"
"Perfect. You flash your badge and go in first as a surprise inspection. We'll be right outside the door. If everything's clean, just wave us in. If you need to pull someone out, do it quickly. I don't mind waiting, but the guys will roast me for weeks if they see me standing here like a doorman."
Auntie let out a soft, girlish giggle and playfully bumped his shoulder.
"I knew Ryan is the most understanding person ever!"
With actual police backing her up, Auntie's "I'm untouchable now" aura went through the roof.
The whole group stopped in front of the suspicious room.
Auntie took one dramatic deep breath.
Then, BAM!!
She kicked the door open like an action-movie star, held up her ID high, and stormed in shouting, "Cultural Bureau surprise inspection!"
Lian rushed in right behind her.
One second later, Auntie let out the loudest, most blood-curdling scream Lian had ever heard in his life.
She spun around, screamed, and ran out of the room super fast. She only went a few steps, then bent over a trash can and started making loud "blegh-blegh" sick noises, like she was going to throw up because it was so disgusting..
The police swarmed in.
Lian just stood frozen in the doorway, brain completely blank.
Inside the room:
The man in the coat sat in the corner, staring in pure shock.
On the sofa:
- One shirtless man lying face down, completely naked from the waist down.
- A second fully naked man lying on top of the first.
- A third fully naked man kneeling behind the second.
- Aluminum foil and suspicious white powder scattered all over the coffee table and floor.
Four adult men. Zero women.
The police didn't even blink.
Captain Ryan calmly flashed his police ID and all the proper documents.
"We received a credible report of group sexual activity and apparent drug use. Everyone get dressed and come with us to the station for questioning."
The four men freaked out, their faces turning white as paper. They jumped up, tripped over each other, and started grabbing their clothes in a total panic, shouting messy excuses like "It's not what it looks like!" and "We were just resting!"
Captain Ryan was the last to leave. He walked over to Lian, who was still rooted to the spot, and gently patted his shoulder.
"Young man, you did the right thing reporting this. If you ever see anything like it again, don't hesitate to call us."
Then he turned to Auntie, who was still bent over the trash can spitting dramatically and teased with a grin, "Ana, I've never seen you look so shocked before. Quite the eye-opener tonight, huh? Definitely not something you see every day. Oh, by the way… any of those four gentlemen friends of yours?"
Auntie spat several more times and wiped her mouth. "As if! How could we possibly know people like that? My nephew obviously made a mistake!"
Captain Ryan just smiled, saluted casually, and led his team and the four handcuffed, red-faced men, out of the karaoke bar.
After the police left, the entire building buzzed with excited gossip. Guests poured out of their rooms into the corridors, whispering and asking the staff what had happened.
Auntie, still pale and shaken, grabbed Lian's hand and dragged him through the crowd like they were fleeing a fire, slipping quietly back into their own private room.
She was probably still too traumatized to notice anything around her.
But Lian, following right behind, clearly spotted his mother standing outside another private room a little farther down the hall.
She looked perfectly calm and curious, just like all the other guests, casually asking the staff what all the commotion was about.
She never once looked in their direction.
The moment they were safely inside their room, Maisie jumped up, eyes wide. "What on earth happened?!"
Auntie, finally feeling safe again, pulled Maisie into the corner and started whisper-yelling the entire horrifying story in vivid detail.
Lian just sat quietly on the sofa.
He had seen his mother's figure perfectly clearly.
But at that moment, he suddenly decided not to tell Auntie anything.
His intuition had already betrayed him once tonight, big time.
No need to drag Auntie into another disaster just because of another "feeling."
The whole incident had completely killed Auntie's mood.
After finishing her dramatic retelling to a shocked Maisie, she slumped on the sofa, looking exhausted.
She called the staff, paid the bill with trembling hands, then took Lian and Maisie downstairs.
In the parking lot, Lian suddenly stopped and pulled Auntie gently to the side.
"Auntie… you take Maisie back and let her rest properly. I think… I'll just go home tonight."
Auntie pouted, clearly having expected this exact request.
"I knew it… with this little violent girlfriend around, there's a lot Auntie can't do tonight…" She reached out and playfully pinched Lian's cheek. "Auntie will get jealous if you look at other women too much, you know… but this girl is actually really cute. Auntie likes her a lot."
Lian opened his mouth, wanting to explain, but no words came out.
In the end he just smiled weakly and let Auntie's imagination run completely
