Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 3

Amelia stared at Aldric, his impossibly handsome face now smeared with his cum and despite the tension choking the air, her lips twitched. The sight was so tragically absurd that a tiny laugh slipped out. Before she could stop herself, she flicked the remaining mess off her hand… straight onto his shirt.

The temperature in the room plummeted.

Aldric's jaw tightened. "Stand up."

His voice was low, cold enough to make Amelia's knees wobble. She quickly scrambled to her feet, head lowered like a guilty child.

He picked up a napkin from the bedside table and shirt with slow, controlled movements. The angrier he became, the calmer his movements appeared.

Amelia pressed her lips together, fighting the urge to laugh again. But one look at his darkened grey eyes and her laughter died instantly.

Aldric finally spoke. "Do you have any idea how much this shirt costs?"

Amelia blinked. "…No?"

He unlocked his phone, tapped the screen, and turned it to her.

She leaned closer and nearly fainted.

"ONE HUNDRED… THOUSAND… DOLLARS?!"

Her gaze bounced between his phone and the shirt. Same brand. Same pattern. Same shirt.

Her soul left her body. My salary can't even afford the buttons in five years… How am I supposed to pay for this?!

Her legs gave out and she dropped to her knees again, this time willingly, her hands clasped like she was praying for her life.

"Please don't report me! I'm so sorry! I swear I've never tasted anything that salty before. I panicked! I didn't mean to ruin your shirt or your face! It was an accident!"

Her voice cracked as she bowed her head. "I'll do anything to make it up to you. I'll serve you however you want!"

Aldric asked, "Anything?"

Amelia nodded furiously. "Anything!"

He studied her for a long second, long enough for dread to crawl across her skin. Then a dangerous smirk tugged at his lips.

"Alright. Then you'll work for me at my house for a month."

Amelia's head snapped up. "A month? In your house? Sure! No problem!"

His eyes narrowed slightly. "You're certain?"

"Yes!" she replied instantly, desperate to escape the debt.

A quiet laugh escaped him low, amused. "You really are something. Far too innocent for this world."

Amelia flushed. Was that an insult or a compliment? She couldn't tell. "So, um… when do I start? Should I give you my number? For instructions?"

"No need." He stood, adjusting his suit jacket. "I'll contact you when I need you."

He walked past her toward the door. "Go home and pack."

Amelia bobbed her head like an obedient bird. "Okay! Thank you! I mean bye!"

She slipped out of the room and bolted to the staff changing room, grabbed her bag, and practically flew out of the hotel.

Inside the cab, she finally exhaled.

But curiosity poked at her brain like a persistent finger. After a long moment of hesitation, she opened her phone and typed into the search bar:

"male organ"

One second later, images flooded her screen.

Amelia gasped so loudly the driver swerved. Her eyes nearly popped out. There were sizes? Shapes? Categories?

So that's what they look like?! Why are there so many variations?! WHY DID SCHOOL NOT TEACH US THIS?!

She was still staring, traumatized and intrigued when the cab pulled over.

The driver cleared his throat, glancing at her through the rearview mirror. "Miss… we've been parked for three minutes."

Amelia jerked upright. "Ah—sorry! I'm here!"

She scrambled out, paid, and stood frozen outside her house, her mind replaying those… unforgettable images.

Amelia entered her small rented room, dropped her phone on the bed, and pulled out her half-empty suitcase. Packing didn't take long, she didn't own much. A few outfits, worn shoes, and basic toiletries filled the bag easily.

Her stomach growled. She hadn't eaten since afternoon.

Just as she zipped her bag, her phone rang. Emily.

Ameila answered at once. "Hello?"

"Amelia… come pick me… from the bar…" Emily slurred, music booming behind her.

Amelia frowned and checked the time, 8:14 PM.

She tried calling Caleb for backup, but his phone was switched off.

With a sigh, she grabbed her coat. "Looks like I'm doing this alone."

The bar was packed, music shaking the walls, lights flashing, bodies dancing shoulder to shoulder.

Amelia's brows furrowed. Why is it so crowded tonight? Some event?

She called Emily again, no answer.

At the counter, she was about to show the bartender Emily's photo when a pair of arms suddenly wrapped tightly around her from behind.

Amelia jolted, panic flaring. She hated sudden physical touch, especially in crowds.

On instinct, she shoved the person away.

A small cry sounded.

Amelia spun around and froze. Emily sat on the floor, holding her forehead.

"Emily!" Amelia quickly helped her up. "Why are you hugging people like a horror movie jump scare? You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

Emily giggled, clinging to her. "You're so soft… I missed my bestie…"

Amelia sighed. "Where's your bag?"

Emily pointed vaguely toward the opposite corner. "O-over there…"

"Sit here. Don't move" Amelia instructed.

She headed toward the corner. Just as she reached for the bag, a strange sensation crawled over her skin like someone was watching her.

Near the darkest part of the bar, a tall silhouette stood in the shadows… staring straight at her.

Amelia blinked and the figure vanished.

A chill ran down her arms. I must be imagining things. I need to get out of here.

She grabbed the bag and hurried back.

She got Emily out of the bar, hailed a cab, and took her home.

Inside Emily's luxurious apartment, she tucked her friend into bed, removed her shoes, and pulled a blanket over her.

"Sleep… and don't drink like this again" she whispered.

She slipped out quietly and closed the door behind her.

On her way home, she stopped by a convenience store, bought a few snacks, and munched happily as she walked. At least her mood was improving.

But as she turned onto her street, she stopped in her tracks.

A sleek, black BMW, the newest model was parked right outside her house. Its surface gleamed under the streetlights like polished obsidian.

Amelia's eyes lit up. She loved cars.

She walked closer, admiring the smooth exterior, the luxurious detailing, the expensive rims. This car costs more than my entire existence…

Just as she leaned in for a peek inside, someone moved.

A tall figure stepped away from the car and slowly turned toward her.

The moment his cold gaze met hers, Amelia froze.
